He was very thorough and took a lot of reference photos and explained what he was doing. We agreed to look at getting a new system and set up a meeting with Kyle for later the afternoon. Kyle was also amazing and went over the pricing and options, you never want to pay for a new AC unit but it's a necessity here so and they made sure we had a great deal. I met with the owner Mathew McGuire, who I found to be friendly, sincere, and someone who is vested in his business, his people, and working to ensure that he wins life-long customers with every job. I had done a lot of research with AI, so I knew my options well (that research was very helpful and I'd highly recommend doing it in advance of having people out to give you pricing). I had no intention of beating up each of the companies, I simply asked for their best pricing and options. I used AI to carefully review each bid in detail, including the proposed equipment and how appropriate it was for our home. All companies gave solid bids, but there was a very large spread between the highest and lowest. That usually concerns me, but all my research about American Energy indicated that they were a solid, competitive company. It was a big investment, but I ended up converting to an electric heat pump and also getting all our ducting replaced. We have a 2750 sf single-story home with 17 vents, so the new ducting was nearly as much as the system itself. That said, the ducting has made so much difference in terms of balancing the temperature throughout the house, which was a real probelm with the old system. The new system is extremely quiet and maintains a consistent temp throughout the day--and we've had some extremely hot days since it's been installed. American Energy's installers were all very friendly and professional, and did a great jobs with prep and clean-up each day they were here (the initial install took two days). There were a couple minor issues after the install was complete which required two follow-up appointments. One was a equipment issue that required Carrier to provide a replacement part, but Carrier was responsive and quickly provided it. For the additional follow-up appointments, their scheduling person as professional, courteous, and accommodating. In fact, she went out of her way over a weekend to re-schedule an appointment that was supposed to happen on a Monday morning. To me the company has to be a good one to A.) get that kind of diligence out of employees, and B.) to keep those kind of employees. In the end, I'm extremely happy with the system and will gladly subscribe for their annual maintenance contract.

We really appreciated how respectful he was of our home--he wore booties and made sure not to track anything in. The service technician Christian arrived on time and courteously introduced himself and his service procedure. He used a handheld meter to measure pressures and other important data about the unit's performance. He showed me the results on his meter: a loss of pressure, probably because of a coolant leak. He laid out my options and answered my questions. After getting my approval, he replaced the missing coolant and added a dye kit that would help find the leak. He also mentioned the dye kit included a sealant that might close up any small leaks. After adding the coolant and dye kit, the HVAC unit quickly brought interior temperatures down. Short-term problem solved. Christian explained that AirMech offers a maintenance plan that I should consider. It pays for regular inspections and provides a 15% discount on the work he had just completed. I opted in. The money I saved that day will more than pay for a whole year of the maintenance plan. A couple weeks later, I called AirMech again to have them inspect the lines to look for leaks. Christian was my man again. He arrived bright and early and performed a visual check in the attic. Then he hooked up his meter to the outdoor HVAC unit. He showed me the results and interpreted them for me: all readings are in the "ideal" range. It looks like the dye kit with sealer did its job. And because I had opted into the maintenance plan, there was no charge for the visit. Long-term problem solved. AirMech's staff operated with professionalism and integrity. I will call on them for my future HVAC needs. And I hope I get Christian again!

I have been burned by so many HVAC techs and wasted so much money. 4 different companies went through with different shadiness levels giving me different answers for the same HVAC issue. Every company kept telling me my freon was low and i most likely had a leak. One company even told me to just replace my brand new system cause "it was from China" The Jaguar tech (Jeff) definitely gave me some disappointed head shakes at previous work but was the only one to truly put his head down, work, and diagnose the root cause of the issue. He checked every part of the system before he gave me an answer on what he believed was wrong. After the diagnosis he detailed every part of the HVAC unit (and attic unit) and explained to me what he was looking for, what he found, and what he believed was the answer. I never felt like he was up-selling me. It wasn't even a freon issue to begin with and the filter drier needed to be replaced. After another visit and a 4 hour procedure my HVAC unit has been running smoothly all Summer 2026. I will seriously only call this company from now on.

Still, they talked us into sticking with them and signing up for recurring maintenance program for "discounts" and covered service. Worst decision ever. Every single time I call trying to schedule service they never have anything for 1.5-2 months out - even though we pay a membership every month and are promised "priority scheduling". The services are over priced so that they lie about giving you "the member discount". They even states I needed to re-do stuff I've done on the prior service as if it was never done previously- liars, trying to sell unnecessary work. Finally, a local person is never available to talk to on the phone. You always get transferred to a third party person who doesn't care at all. I just want a refund for the 6 months paid of membership that I won't use, and cancel this nonsense. Never again. Stay away! they tell us you have priority for scheduling maintenance bit you don't

It's smog check up the road, and so I needed to drive it about 50 miles or so to "reset the car's computer, " before it would pass . I decided to stop here for an oil change before I did that, as the car was way overdue. I was helped by Mike. He's helped me before, he's always thorough, friendly, and helpful. He got me checked in, he told me the different options for an oil change, and I told him which one I wanted. They did the oil change, and I was out in about 15 to 20 minutes. The price was extremely reasonable. Everything was great. Before I left, on the side, I happened to mention that I had needed the oil change because of the smog check. He said, oh, before you take the car back to the smog shop, stop in here, we will do a pretest to make sure you drove enough to reset the computer. I said, no charge? Nope That was nice of him. I drove 45 miles "up the hill" to Pollock Pines, to look at all of the pretty new snow. I came back, it took less than five minutes to do the pretest, and he told me, "green lights all the way." I took the car back to the smog shop and passed with flying colors. As I mentioned, I've always gotten great service here at Danny's. Thank you, Mike, for taking that extra step for me. I truly appreciate it. I will be back.

Today, I requested a diagnostic of a specific issue. I was already aware of what it "could" be and Danny took the time to show me what the issue was...a wheel bearing. it can be nice when the customer and the business end up on the same page. Sometimes that doesn't happen. Customers really should understand how the process works and how a business is run before getting "triggered". Always competitive pricing and this shop can do it all. Excellent customer service and they have an excellent shuttle service as well!

If you need an honest, knowledgeable, and fairly priced auto repair shop near Gold River or Rancho Cordova, I'd definitely recommend them. They've worked on my 2017 Ford Transit Connect, 2014 Mercedes GL63, and 2014 BMW X5. They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. What stood out to me most was how knowledgeable, honest, and fair Samson and his team were throughout the process. The staff are friendly, the front desk is welcoming, and the customer service has been great. It's hard to find a shop that does quality work at reasonable prices, but 916 Auto Repair has done that for me. Definitely recommended.

My AC Drier was cracked and inoperable since last year. In this region of the Sacramento Valley and Placer County, 916 Auto quote beat 5 shops I contacted in the region and 1 shop even told me it's not worth it and I should get a new car. Bet if my car was a 69 Camaro, they'd do it. Why? Cause its a Classic Camaro. No matter the condition. Some shops don't want to work on Imports. But oh well. Their loss, not mine. I contacted 916 Auto and spoke to Samson to schedule an appointment and he said to come by that very same day. And so I drove from Roseville to Gold River that morning. Samson is honest & to the point. When he pulled my car in, he noticed a coolant leak. Now I didn't notice any leaks in my driveway, as it would seem the Coolant is evaporating or dissipating, but he notice it was getting on my Alternator, by the stains. It turns out, my OEM water pump (factory part since 2003 for this model year in 2004) finally gave out at 262K miles. Who'd ever think a Mazda/Ford part would last this long. This was an unexpected thought as I only had budgeted for the quote. So I called my CFO (Wife) and let her know of the issue. She said get it fixed and she'll adjust other expenses as she knows I need AC for the upcoming summer temps. So I authorized Samson to proceed with the entire job. Now I can't couldn't do any price comparison, but he did give me a discount which still fit in my overall budget. I spent my whole day in their lobby. They have updated their lobby to make it feel more comfortable and less Auto Shop feel. I notice the many people who drop by to have their car service are all happy and are returning customers. From a Dealership oil drain plug that was torqued too tight, to oil changes, brakes, and even a customer who was a bit upset where the Dealership sent the wrong part twice. The Dealership. I spoke to many of them and they all had the same answer when I ask. "What made you come here?" They replied, "Their price can't be beat!". In summary, my AC is now working as it should. Now I only used my AC for 2 whole days It gets cold and it has been awhile since I have felt cold in my aging car of 22 years. With my new water pump installed as well, my car is running smoother overall. Smoother shifts, heater gets warm fast. Almost, now almost like it was in 2004. So, Did I find a new shop for my Project Commuter Car? Yes I sure did. They have gotten a new customer. Up next is my Transmission Gasket & plug. One thing at a time! This company takes communication back to exactly where it needs to be. 100% communication with the customer 100% of the time. Other businesses need to revert back to this level of care and communication. I received emails, text messages and confirmations along the way from setting up the appointment to do the work, when they would be here, how long the process would take, etc. It absolutely was refreshing to feel like a company really wanted to do their best work and make me happy as a customer. The crew showed up on time, they did the work, they cleaned up whatever minimal mess may have been made, and with the exception of the fact that they put some of their equipment on top of my new HVAC unit, which I wasn't thrilled about, everything was pretty seamless. It was the equivalent of a small vial pool chemical test. Which is fine. But it's a drop of this. A drop of that. It did not seem like the most scientific water evaluation. All that said, Steve was friendly, seemed honest enough and his pricing was moderately more competitive. We were not interested in a system that requires salt. This company provides a solution that's straight forward, low / no maintenance (it flushes itself) and will last a good amount of time hopefully. We moved forward with Steve. His son Dalton did the installation a week later. All went well with the installation. So far we have not used the system a great deal but we are encouraged by what we have noticed so far. Based on the up front experiences and process so far we would recommend this company to others for consideration. All said

For example, kitchen cabinets were on sale at this store but were not on sale at the Contractors Warehouse on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights. Staff are friendly and polite. The store selection is good, not as much variety as a Home Depot or Lowe's, but still an amazing selection nonetheless. There is a rental counter in the left of the store when you first walk in which never has a line. Cashiers were efficient and lines moved quickly. Yellow price tags indicate clearance aka discontinued items. There is also a drive through lumber yard but I can't speak on that as I haven't done that yet.

Our HVAC (cooling side) gave up the ghost in late June, and I began researching HVAC manufacturers on Consumer Reports (Trane, Lennox, Carrier, etc.) and looking for a high-quality intsaller in my area. I ended up meeting with 6 installers who got excellent reviews online. I wanted to learn all I could about HVACs, so I talked at length with all of the sales reps (1 - 2 hours with each of the 6 sales reps) to find out what to install. Matt (with Sierra Valley Mechanical) seemed more knowledgable than most and also seemed less inclined to "sell" and more inclined to help me determine what I wanted (and needed) by educating me on every detail that I quizzed him about. I'm technically educated and a very detail oriented person, so we spent several hours working out details of a system. Over the next 2 weeks, as I met with other prospective installers, when something I hadn't considered came up, I would call Matt and ask for his opinion or clarification, and sometimes asked him to modify his bid. Comparing what I heard from each of the reps and doing online research to verify, and comparing bids, I decided Sierra Valley Mechanical was the vendor/installer for me. Even after signing a contract, whenever I had a question about some detail (I'm SO detail oriented), Matt always took my calls and helped me understand the issue, or was willing to modify the contract to meet my concerns. I installed a heatpump (split system - all electric) rather than a separate gas furnace for heat, since I am committed to installing a rooftop solar electric system later this year. SMUD is currently offering a $2500 rebate for a gas-to-heatpump conversion, and Sierra Valley Mechanical handled the entire rebate process with SMUD. The installation was smooth, and the crew inspired my confidence with their professionalism and attention to detail. They cleaned up everything they touched, wore masks whenever they needed to be in the house (Covid), and kept me informed about any issues that came up (there are always issues in a major project like this). Michael (installation crew boss), Bobby, Sara and Jordan were all excellent, and did a great job. Matt and Bobby came back a month later to fine-tune the system. I had placed 5 digital thermometers in critical places and recorded temps on the hottest days, and a few adjustments to air flow got the temps evenly distributed, to my detail-oriented and exacting specifications. Wow!!! I am very thankful that I went with Sierra Valley Home Corporation for my maintenance agreement. GREAT COMPAPNY, VERY TURSTWORTHY, VERY KNOWLEDGABLE, VERY-VERY EASY TO TALK TO. THEY LISTEN AND APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS AND WANT TO KEEP YOU AS A CUSTOMER. One and a half years ago I had a new furnace and A/C (York) installed (old unit was about 18 years old. I didn't talk with Sierra Valley Corporation at that time as I did not know anything about the company, had not heard of them. I decided to go with a very small independent (2 person operation with 18 years in the business) they assured me they would be able to give me follow up and 6 month maintenance program. I received good recommendations on this small company from several realtors. I had no issue with the installation and was very satisfied with working with them. Unfortunately, no fault of there's, one of the two company individuals was injured and they where unable to fulfill the follow up and maintenance program as we discussed. I called the York factory and asked for recommendation on a good / trustworthy Furnace Company in the area (I live in Gold River) they recommend 3 companies. I went with Sierra. I DEFINITELY MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. My first maintenance follow up was done in October 2015, Sam was the service representative - 5 STAR ALL THE WAY, no heating issues found. . Unfortunately in mid December of this year I knew I had a issue as the heat in our bedrooms was 10 degrees higher than what the thermostat was set at, They came out right way and with in 15 minutes checked out the thermostat, no problem and found I had a bad Damper Motor (was not replaced when I had the new furnace installed) as working fine at the time as it was in the October maintenance follow up. They told me I had a very good install of the new furnace by the small company, which I was very happy to hear, they didn't try to sell me additional work since they had not installed the new furnace but were very complementary of installation. Matt the technician was 5 STAR ALL THE WAY, as was Sam the maintenance technician. Both Sam and Matt as I said about the company VERY TRUSTWORTHY, VERY KNOWLEDGEBALE, VERY EASY TO TALK TO THEY LISTENED AND MADE YOU FEEL APPRECIATED AND IMPORTANT AS A CUSTOMER. Back in 2009, We bought a new house and HVAC system that refused to work correctly. After about a MONTH of Technicians from a major HVAC installer and their supervisors going over the unit they could not solve the issues. Sierra Valley was referred to me by the manufacturer of the unit. I called and spoke with Mike the owner, and he sent Matt his technician to evaluate. Within 1 hour Matt had solved the problem and arranged to have all corrected. I was amazed. I have since then bought and sold two houses and they have all been maintained by Sierra Valley Mechanical. The current house I purchased in 2017 was built in 2002 and the HVAC unit is the same age. I really didn't think it was going to last but Matt checked our unit when we moved in and gave it thumbs up and thought we could get a few more years out of it. I was impressed that there was no pressure to sell us a new unit. That's honesty. We had them maintain the units and thanks to Technician Bobby we made it until July of 2022. Time for new units. I called Matt, and he set into motion the work to get our new High Efficiency units installed. Matt organized the system and changes that needed to be made. The price was great, and it included everything we wanted. Within a week I heard from Susie the office manager, and Mike the owner offering a portable air unit for the day without air and Matt about our schedule. A couple of days later in scorching heat the install crew arrived Eric, Josh and Nicco arrived on time. Led by Sarah, who was just great and has an amazing attention to detail. They were the most organized, proficient, and team oriented crew that I have seen in many years. It was a pleasure to have them in the house. They continually cleaned any mess as they worked and there was very little mess. They carefully covered and took care of our hardwood flooring. It was a great experience all around. I needed and AC/Furnace replacement in Rocklin (don't know why yelp thinks I am in San Francisco) for an ancient system I had that had finally given up the ghost. I probably made inquiries with 8 - 10 companies, described my needs in detail and asked for a preliminary quote since I did not want a bunch of folks coming for inspection during covid. Prices were all over the place and it was clear a lot of gouging was going on given everyone said they could do the job in one day and the equipment cost looked to be easily under $5k. Some of these guys wanted around $10k or more for 2 or 3 guys for one day! Ridiculous! However, I got 2 competitive quotes which were close to what a friend of mine got in the Bay area 9 months ago. Sierra Valley's quote was the most accurate and when I checked the AHRI number that tells you what the real seer numbers are for the combination of equipment you are getting only Sierra Valley's quote was correct. Jim Mullaney, the sales guy was great. No sales pressure, honest answers, and no attempt to up sell. Also a good guy to talk with about life. He accommodated all my change requests fairly (and without raising the price!). The team that showed up a couple of days later was also very good. Polite, efficient and wearing masks. I got four folks because one was a new employee they wanted to check out. Michael, Sarah, Jordan and Matthew kept me appraised of where they were, what they were doing etc. and got the whole job done in one day. They put down mats to protect my flooring and carpet and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. They even repaired a large section of ducting that was deteriorating at no additional expense. All in all this was a darn good experience. I was angered by what some other companies wanted to charge (pure greed!) but very happy to get a fair quote and good work from Sierra Valley Mechanical. Living in Sacramento where it gets hot, yet we also get the cool delta breeze, several of my family and friends who have whole house fans said a whole house fan is the way to go to cool your house down and lower your SMUD bill. After a lot of research on different types of fans and companies out there, I decided on a Quiet Cool from Sierra Valley Home Corporation. Matt from Sierra Valley came out to my home within a couple of days to inspect the project and quoted me a price, which was the best deal I was able to find. There were no sales pitches or pressure to sign a contract, just facts of what they could offer and deliver in a product, installation and service. I was able to get an install date a week and a half later which I thought was great turnaround time from the quote. Matt came back out along with Ryan to install the Whole House Fan. We ran into a small hiccup, I was able to get the builder out there, the builder and Matt worked quickly to provide a resolution to get the WHF installed. Matt and Ryan work quickly and efficiently to get the job completed and cleaned up as if they were never there. It was a great pleasure working with them, they were very professional, never once felt like they were rushing the job. They took their time in demonstrating how the fans works, went through various scenarios of use and answered all my questions. The end product and installation looks great and it's very quiet. On low speed you can't hear it, on high speed you can hear it but it doesn't over power anything else such as having music or a TV on or a conversation. I have a HVAC unit installed my Sierra Valley Home Corp in 2016. I am writing this note to recommend the company. I have been a Real Estate Broker for about 40 year and I have many dealings with HVAC companies. One of the things you learn is that you do not want repairmen that are on commission. That is the fox in the hen house, so to speak. We all have had firms who want to sell us something who tell us how great their customer service is. We find out later after the work is complete how good the customer service really is. I want to tell you that Sierra Valley Home Corp is as honest as the day is long. They will not put just any unit in your home that is not right for your home, they will not lie to you and you have not seen customer service after the sale until you deal with this firm! Wow, great personality, very professional, and gave my system a top notch check up; which I do spring and fall. I apologize for not writing this review sooner. It's long overdue. Mike and his crew have installed 4 separate units for me on various homes over the years. All the units are still up, efficient and working great! One of my units was on a flat top home and they came up with a great design so that the ducting is not visible from the roof line. That unit will literally freeze you out in the summer it works so well. We did have a manufactures defect on a guest house unit. The renter that was living in the place rarely was home and didn't use the unit. So by the time the defect was discovered it was well past the manufactures warranty period and because of the nature of the defect repair was not a good option. Mike (the owner) called the manufacturer and went to bat for us and leveraged his relationship with the manufacturer and got the manufacturer to actually replace the unit with a new unit. We got a new, several year newer and more energy efficient unit for FREE! The manufacture flat out told me no and Mike was able to work a miracle. My husband was stressed and snippy during the process but Mike was nice, professional and did what was best even with a difficult customer. They also installed a tankless hot water heater for me which is so necessary if you have teenage girls in the home. This company has really proven themselves to be honest and to have my back in the good times but also when problems arise. They really came through when I needed them the most. If you are considering installing a new unit I would totally recommend these guys. They are a small, family owned business and the prices are very fair. He's an honest business owner and I highly respect him. read more

We can't say enough good things about the folks at Sierra Valley Home Corp. We hired them to completely replace our outdated heat pump system with a new air conditioner and gas furnace including all new ductwork after obtaining four bids from local companies. Sierra Valley was the most competitive of all of them in terms of price. Work began July 9th in over 100 degree heat and was up and running the next day, July 10th, without any negative issues, a testament to the efficiency and workmanship demonstrated by the team that did the job. Mike, Jack, Johnathan and Sarah all deserve the credit for a top quality HVAC installation that's performing flawlessly and above our initial expectations. One of our concerns was the noise level generated from our old condenser unit located just outside our bedroom wall. It would sometimes keep us awake at night or wake us up when running. The new condenser unit is nearly silent even when standing just a few feet away from it. We were also extremely impressed with Jim Mullaney, the salesman that designed and sold us the upgraded Bryant HVAC system. This guy is a professional who really knows his business. He's also a straight shooter that will answer your questions honestly and take the time to explain things. And, We felt zero pressure to make an immediate decision to buy. I have never written a review on a company for work performance. However, Sierra Valley Home Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning, Solar stands out far beyond any HVAC company I have experienced since owning homes for the past 45 years. Because I have extensive mechanical knowledge, I purchased and installed my LG HVAC ductless cassette mini-split system in my home. Since I do not have the experience to connect the freon line, I needed to have a professional HVAC contractor to come out an make the connections and charge the system. I had five contractors from the SMUD-approved rebate website bid for the job. Four of them seemed unfamiliar with this type of system for residential application, however, two of them provided reasonable bids. Finally, when Sierra Valley Home Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning, Solar scheduled to look at the system, Matt instantly recognized the unit and gave me a reasonable bid on the spot. Suzy called the next day to schedule installation. Matt showed up on the scheduled day and made all the connections. Because the freon lines are so long, he pulled vacuum on the system over night to ensure the system was free of moisture and contaminants. Once the installation was complete, Suzy contacted me for the rebate information and took care of all the application processes. I received my $2500 SMUD rebate check with 3 weeks. What a smooth transition! I recommend this team as they are profession and conscientious about the work they do. I also recommend installing a mini-split system for your home. If you are looking for an air conditioning company, look no further. If I could give ten stars I would. I have a very old unit that started pushing out less and less cold air. I bought my house in 2001 and it was here when I bought the house. In all these years, I have never had it serviced, bad me! I called Sierra Valley Home Corp was greeted with a great guy who asked a few questions about what was going on and I expressed my "fear" about needing a new unit (who WANTS to spend that much money). He explained that even though the unit was old, it didn't necessarily need to be replaced. I was transferred to a delightful woman who took my information and we scheduled my appointment for 8 today! Francisco showed up on time (actually a bit early but stayed in the truck until 8, being respectful of my time). The truck was nice and clean, something that is important to me. I believe when a company takes care of their vehicles, they care about their company. Francisco is friendly and was great with my dogs!!! He checked out my unit and discovered the freon was low. He checked a couple of other things and stated the unit does not need to be replaced as the compressor and the motor are functioning adequately! GREAT news! He added the freon and a leak seal. The price of the service came in significantly under what I was expecting. What a GREAT company. When it does come time for an A/C replacement I will be calling them, no question about it!!! read more

This team of immensely talented and yet humble, expert individuals is simply the best you can get. I have used their services several times over the last 2 years to update and repair the HVAC in my old 1959 fixer upper. They did a beautiful installation of a Quiet Cool whole house fan too. Brilliant! If one could love a whole house fan this would be the one. They replaced all the duct work for the old Trane HVAC unit (previously home to a nasty little colony of rats). Came to my house on the hottest day of the year 2017 at 9:00 at night to find and fix a wacky short in the HVAC system. And have kindly supported keeping the old Trane running rather than manipulating me into replacing it right away as some companies will do. When the time comes I will gladly have these folks put the old Trane to rest and trust that they will make an objective recommendation for an appropriate replacement, not based on how much money they can take off me, but based on the best fit for my home's specific configuration, taking into consideration my budget, and my needs/wishes. Mike, Matt, and Suzi are the folks that will get things started for you up front but the whole team has been here and have been courteous, respectful, patient, clever, humorous, and professional. Sierra Valley Home Corporation saved us over $5,000!!! We had a larger local company come and clean our furnace -- we do this annually. This time, they told us that the heating unit was cracked and we needed about $2,900 in repairs. They had a sales guy come to the house and quote us a new furnace for over $5,000 (for a not-so-top-of-the-line furnace). That is a ton of money for just a furnace replacement!!!! They shoved a contract in my face and wanted me to sign it, saying we really needed a new furnace, because ours was ten years old. All said and done, I felt like I needed to take a bath. So, I had a friend recommend Sierra Valley Home Corp to come out and inspect the furnace. They spent a good amount of time inspecting and testing it. They found the unit only had a small amount of rust -- the furnace was fine and safe. It was just showing its age. They said it should last quite a few more years. The big surprise... Was that they had found a 'red tag' that the "prior company" placed on the unit. We had our house on the market and the prior company had placed a red tag on it, because they KNEW the home inspector would eventually find it, and we would be forced into getting a new furnace. Yikes! That other company was crooked. Sierra Valley Home Corp SAVED the day and our pocket book!!! Thank you, Sierra Valley! You are the BEST! This place (Sierra Valley Home Corp.) was recommended by our A/C unit manufacturer (York) as their local authorized dealer. Suzy at SVHC (schiodo@sierravalleyhomecorp.com) was very helpful in resolving our problem. We wouldn't have had a problem to start with if I hadn't approached another A/C servicing company (Beutler) for a routine maintenance check of the HVAC unit at our Folsom home (that we rented out recently). The Beutler technician reversed the wiring on the condenser and was trying to rip us off by recommending a new unit. When they said it would take weeks to find parts and schedule the repair of the existing unit, I contacted York and got the SVHC reference. Just finished posting a thumbs-down review for Beutler on Yelp for what they did. Suzy checked on the parts availability and scheduled the "repair work" as soon as possible. The SVHC technician found the condenser was wired in reverse, and he suspected that it was intentionally done so. He mentioned that the wiring diagram was on a sticker right next to it and even a novice would have wired it correctly. He charged me only for the visit and re-wiring the unit correctly. I found the SVHC people very professional and easy to work with, I would very highly recommend them to people living in the Sacramento region. read more

Sierra Valley Mechanical Just (4/27/2099) had a new AC & High efficiency gas heater installed by Serra Valley Mechanical. I ABSOLUTELY COULDN 'T BE MORE PLEASED!!! Now don't get his company confused with another Sierra xxxx - or another company - this one is the BEST!!! The 5 +++ STAR TEAM that did the installation was by a 4 STAR team; Matt Juvet; Michael: Eric; & Victor. These expert 'guys' REALLY know their 'stuff', installation, and equipment - each particularly had kind of a specialized function to do and worked as a super team to remove my old equipment - install the new - and were super nice - spotless cleaned up - AND ALWAYS willing to answer questions and explain anything you might need to know. Call Matt ((916) 635-3120 to have him call on you on-site to answer your questions; review your needs; and give you a price that will - in my opinion and experience - unquestionably be the BEST BUY YOU CAN MAKE. Consummate professionals from pre-sale, installation, and after-sales support. To top it off, their price was the best of all the quotes I canvassed and everything was included - no surprises. Will definitely use again. Details: Within minutes of me emailing Sierra Valley for quotes, their president Mike replies with ballpark figures. This responsiveness was a good initial sign. A few days later, Matt visits my home for a free, in-depth assessment of the work. He understood mine was a multi-phase project that I would implement as budget permitted. He gave me a bundle discount on the first phase (EV charger & pre-wiring for a second EV charger, a heat pump water heater, and a heat pump clothes dryer) as well as detailed estimates for the later phases (heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater). On install day, Michael, Eric, Seth, and Kris did the work expertly. They took the extra effort to conceal all the wiring behind the walls, were clean & careful in my home, were very communicative, and finished earlier than expected. Wow!! I am so thankful that I found Sierra Valley Home Corp. They just replaced the heat pump system in my home. After getting three estimates they were not only the best price (by far) but were the most responsive, least salesman like and most professional in the bidding process. I had another companies "salesman" out to the house who was very articulate but worked off a piece of scrap paper and gave guesses on the cost. His final answer was almost triple what Sierra Valley quoted for the same equipment. Mike and Matt from Sierra were honest, professional and personable in their presentation and the next day provided a complete typed cost estimate with several brands of equipment fully spelled out with complete specs. After choosing Sierra all questions and correspondence were returned promptly and completely. They arrived when they said they would, even though rain was expected,, installed the unit in a professional and competent manner, interacted with us in a pleasant manner and overall did an outstanding job. I cannot say enough about this professional company Sierra Valley Home Corp but let me at least say how grateful I am to them. My thanks to the workers Mason, Michael, Ryan and Francisco to install and make the new HVAC system operational. To Matt who did a thorough inspection and took pictures to show how bad the rotten platform was supporting the furnace with a large amount of hidden mildew as it leaked. Mike the supervisor did an incredible job of organizing and getting the demolition and installation taken care of in 2 days. Sweet Suzy Chiodo was my go to person each time I called. She was the person who took care of the important paperwork and making this new HVAC installation run smoothly. She is the Captain and she's responsible for its smooth operation. I thank God everyday when I pass my HVAC system because he gave me this blessing. So amazing how hard the guys work in the triple digit temperature without leaving my house until it was quitting time. Outstanding Service !!!! Let me start with, I have had A/C issues for years. I have had multiple Big Name Companies come out and tell me the SAME STORY!! " You need a new unit " $15,000 here, $17,000 there. I took one last crack at getting it looked at. I read the reviews here and thought OK one last time. The nice lady on the phone Suzie ( spelling ? ) booked me an appointment and two outstanding men Jose and Nick came out. I greeted them and up they went. Going back inside I was dreading the outcome. A little while past and they both came inside ( with their masks on ) and I was waiting for the same line I've heard before " You need a new unit "Blah blah blah!! But to my udder delight. They told me that my unit was just fine and they only had to clean it where everyone else had not which was causing all my problems! They both were very happy to explain to me the cause of my problems and even went further to explain that the breaker was an issue also!! We had a problem with our AC. Not sure what happened, one day our roof HVAC unit started leaking water and destroyed the drywall in our roof. We had 3 different companies come out and got 3 different answers. The first company convinced us that our AC was bad, there was a hole in our heat exchanger and that repair would cost 6-7k, or get a new unit for 13k. Second company told us drip pan was cracked, $1300 fix. The third company really couldn't figure out what was wrong. We also had the YORK rep talking with us about static pressures and all sorts of crazy stuff. Francisco, from Sierra Vally Home Corp was our last call. Francisco came out and did a very thorough inspection and discovered the threads from the drip pan to the drip line were bad. He literally fixed it with some thread epoxy. Throughout the experience, we discovered that the HVAC unit is too small, and that we will have to address that at some point, but to blatantly have multiple companies try to rip us off was unbelievable. I was lucky enough to get Mike's name from my dad, who got his name from a friend when they needed a new system. Ends up that my dad needed their help early this summer when he had a coil leak and the crew at SVM did a great job replacing his coil and getting my mom and dad back online. With my system nearing 20 years old, and most of my neighbors having to repair or replace their a/c's, I connected with Mike and Brianna and started the process of replacing my equipment. Considering the challenges of supply chains and inventory shortages, the team did an incredible job of giving me alternatives and helping me configure an awesome system. The confidence I placed In SVM was validated yesterday when Sara, Jordan and Eric arrived to install my system. It's very clear to me they are a cohesive team and their work ethic is impressive. Polite, friendly and just genuinely nice people. I could not of been more impressed. CAPITAL A++ 5 Stars FOR SURE!!…read moreThe Man with the master plan! NO BS type of guy! The night before we left on our vacation my kids alerted me the bathroom ceiling was leaking. It was leaking! Oh man! I quickly grabbed my 10 footer and popped my head in the attic. And sure enough right above the bathroom was our AC unit. Grabbed a bucket, mopped up the water on the bathroom floor and while doing so I pondered and wondered why it was leaking. Quickly realized it had to be a plugged condensation line (s). We have 2 and it dawned upon me a few days ago I noticed the secondary line dripping water. I remembered what my wife told me awhile ago that if that line dripped water it was not good (a sign that the primary line was plugged). Both lines are plugged and the pan got filled with water and overflowed. Had to be it. Shut off the AC and shortly after, the leak stopped. Nothing we can do, so I figured and hoped the consistent 100 degree weather may dry out the mess and when we get back I'll deal with the plugs. 2 days before we headed back I started calling some HVAC companies to line someone up. Most HVAC companies don't like answering the phone. Most also don't like to call you back. Josh did and he was the only one local to RM! I explained my plight and he quickly confirmed what I figured what was wrong. He offered to stop by to take care of it, I explained to him we were out of town. He said, no worries, I can just go and drain both lines. Our side gate was locked though, no worries, I have a ladder and I can just pop over the fence. Hahaha, love it. Do it man! He was there in 5 minutes, 15 minutes later he sent me pictures of gunk, water, debris and stuff that came out of both lines. Quickly explained that during this time of the year a lot of bees (which we have a ton) tends to fly up those lines taking with them dirt and debris, thus plugging up those lines. Problem solved. And he also gave me some wise HVAC preventive advice. So happy to know there are still 100% legit technicians out there making money the right way! Thank you, Josh!! Yuri has always been the one sent out to me and he is a good tech. I recently called them because I was hearing rattling. I was hearing it from all vents in each room. When they first came out, he couldn't pin point it an of course it wasn't rattling very noticeable when he was there. Recorded the sound and send the video the next day. Todd, the office manager, awesome guy, re-scheduled me for another appointment the next day. He sent out a different guy, Darryl, super knowledgeable. He was out my house for a nice period of time and lo and behold he found where the darn noise was coming from! So happy to know I don't need to cut into the ceilings thinking it was duct work! I trust these guys and definitely recommend them. I myself work from home as an office manager for an hvac company in the Bay Area. If I can't have my company, TRC is great company
