This is a great family freindy restrant and has a very small home town feel. Food is great and prepared quicky by a chef the right way and you can watch. Proportions are very large which is great for the pocket book. Besides the atmosphere i have to say the fact that you can call in your food and then go pick it up hot is a godsend as i am a blue collar worker and to get a hote meal i do not have enough time to sit down and eat. I have always liked to eat at Siggys.The pastrami sandwhich is to die for and I also like the Shrimp dinner,once in a while they over cook the Shrimp but it's still good.I basically like everything the serve. Customer service has always been good,i do like their other location a bit more because it's a newer restaurant. This is a typical burger joint with better-than-average "burger joint food." It is simple but tasty. If you want specials they have them. If you want steak or seafood they have them as well. What I like most about this place is that they know when they have a good thing going. If forced to, they would rather slightly raise their price than to compromise on food quality or portions. Talk about portions: They are very generous. Bring an appetite! If your kids want good sandwiches and french fries this is the place for them as well! read more

Good local diner large portion

I came here for my first time and this will be my last. I will never visit this establishment again. When I approach the register, the person was helpful & friendly. But I noticed that the place was kind of dirty and two of the tables were broken. I receive my food and my cheeseburger had a weird color to it. It didn't look like it was grilled! I should've taken a photo of it, but I did not enjoy my meal. The burger was insipidly tasteless and greasy. There's much better diners out there than this joint read more

i was really looking forward to eating at a gourmet fast food restaurant,so i order my favorite sandwich which is a patty melt with grilled onions .to my surprise the meat was flattened to 1/8 " thick and the cheese was even thinner,no grilled onions and the bread was dry . the fries were fair! read more

I guess i should have read the reviews i was actually getting my car serviced so i thought my mom and i would walk over for breakfast...First the latina lady at the register wasnt friendly at all, rude actually and no personality..The food was just under ok, you can tell theres no love put into the food at all..I was immediately turned off by the scrambled eggs that they just threw cheese into without melting it at all..There was a lady who got her breakfast right after ours and happen to get scrambled eggs with cheese not melted and she had the worse frown on her face and told the man she was with eeeww taste this (the cheese) and he did and said send it back if you dont like it, she made a few more comments about why her cheese wasnt melted as i did and just ate it..I was surprised the guy running food to the tables was dressed as if he was a manager so i guess when he looked at it it was ok to him and maybe its just there standard! The pancakes were not great and the only reason i gave a 2 star was because as soon as my mom and i sat down a very attentive friendly staff (im assuming a busser he was clearing tables) latino man stops what hes doing looks up at us and says hello, how are you today..It was pretty nice considering the cashiers attitude...You should give him a big raise and be thankful hes working for you..So many places in town to eat this will not be one! Cute place but you need to care more and ask around for help if you dont know how to get where you need to be! read more

Invited by a friend that said they had the "best" pastrami in the area. As we walked in I noticed that there was damage on almost every bench/table. There was even old dried food on the window shade (I honestly don't know how it got its "A" health dept grade unless they Paid off the reviewer). When we finally got our food my pastrami looked as though it had been cooking all day(we went in at 3). I was so disgusted that I took it back for a refund. I would suggest several better alternatives to this place but really every other burger place I have been to in Murrieta has been cleaner & had fresher food.. It is absolutely filthy & when places are this dirty & in this state of disrepair I can only imagine the shortcuts they take in the kitchen. I must say the portions were generous & the staff was very friendly. Too bad they were not cleaning the filthy establishment in between customers. My family and friends and I have been eating at Siggys on Jefferson Ave. since we moved to Murrieta 28 years ago. We didn't have much in Murrieta back then, and Siggys was one of the first restaurants we discovered while working on our new house. The menu is huge with so many choices and we have never had a bad meal. The fried zucchini is the best ever. Whether you have breakfast, lunch, or dinner, portions are always large and they keep their prices reasonable. The staff is extra friendly and the service is always prompt. You order at the counter and fill your own soft drinks. By the time you get your drink and sit down, the food is there within minutes. The few negative reviews I read do not sound like the Siggys I know and I believe their experience was a rare exception. My family visits from San Diego and of all the choices we now have in this area, they always want to eat at Siggys. We will always be back! read more

Just drove through the drive through and unfortunately was left with a bad first impression that will keep me from returning here. It started off great w the employee asking "Hi how are you doing" at the ordering menu. But once I got to the window, she just reached her hand out to accept my money and said nothing. After a few minutes she handed me my food and again said nothing. I had hoped that since she never asked if I wanted any sauce or anything, that she had included some ketchup w my breakfast but I checked and no such luck. I asked if I could have some salsa and ketchup. With an annoyed look on her face, she grabbed 2 ketchup packets and salsas and handed them to me, again saying nothing. I said Thank You and drove off. Just a poor attitude and a Pet Peeve of mine when you say nothing when someone uses manners and Please and Thank You's. Mind you not 1 other vehicle in the drive through. read more

First time here, not bad. I may have gone too adventurous though. I came in knowing I wanted a club sandwich and fried zucchini because every diner/sit down like this I always order fried zucchini. . Always.. But instead of the club I ordered a ruben with zucchini instead. I've only had this sandwich like.. once or twice in my life.. but I got it anyways. I usually always try new things at restaurants and end up ALWAYS regretting it. Didn't take too long to come out because I was the only one dining in. Everyone else was in the drive thru. Pretty large sized restaurant. Three small tvs hanging down from the middle playing sports. Looks clean, just a few things needing maintenance. The food came out hot, so that's a plus. Generous amount of zucchini and they're pretty good. Love the crunchy bits The sandwich looked ok but didn't taste bad. Wrapper was pretty glossy from the fats. Meat was seasoned well, not too salty. Sauerkraut was pretty good too. The cheese and sauce may have over powered it though. It was a pretty rich sandwich but people may want that in a ruben. I don't eat it too often so I wouldn't know. The pickle was a nice way of cutting through the richness. I probably got to the last two bite of the sandwich and gave up. Things this rich doesn't sit too well with my stomach. I'll probably feel it in class... I'd show a picture but I always tend to remember to take one after I've already ate the food.. I'll probably come back to try other things. Couple things on the menu sound pretty good. read more

Had wild west cheeseburger, curly fries and coke. Portion size was good and I would recommend the curly fries. Meat was o.k., but the bun was fairly stale. Drive thru personnel were neutral -- not positive or negative. For the price I think I will choose other places instead. A little below average with a decent variety of menu. read more

Siggys is one of our favorite places to eat. Not fancy or gourmet but good food, good prices and a great staff. Not for the uppity who have to have the highest of quality, stick to your overpriced, stuffy staffed restaurants. Siggys is for the friendly family oriented that are happy getting a good meal at a fair price and like getting hugs and a fun conversation. I must say this is one of my favorite restraunts around the murrieta, Temecula, & Elsinore area!!! I'm shocked at all the unpleasant reviews of food quality and service!!! I have been eating here for a very long time and they have never done me wrong!! The staff is wonderful!! Very friendly. The food is good quality.. Not greasy! And the prices are pretty good!! We come here a few times a month, but this may be our last trip for a while. The place is filthy, every where you look there are fingerprints and smears on the poorly painted glass doors. The tables are all leaning and some even broken. Tables and seats are not properly cleaned, the place is turning into scum city. It's pretty gross when your eating and looking at all the filth. For some people that doesn't bother them. The food is good but they need a lot of help in their dining room. There are other well kept burger joints to enjoy, this one is going down hill. read more

I usually have better experiences with the restaurant, but not the last couple of times. The last time I was here I ordered curly fries with my meal. There used to be a nice crispy coating on the fries, and this time it was very light in color, the fries were soft and oily. They were inedible. When I was there today, at the drive-thru, I asked the lady who took my order if they had changed there recipe and explained how bad they were the last time I was here. She said she didn't think they did and ordered them extra crisply. They were cooked just the same as last time, not crispy at all, with a few regular oil-saturated french fries throw in. Inedible again. I also ordered the steak sandwich with no pickle. I cannot stand the taste of dill pickle or dill pickle juice. When I opened the sandwich, a dill pickle spear was sitting on top of my sandwich, making part of it inedible also. Worst experience I've had here. Afraid to go back. Don't want to waste my money. Too bad. I really used to like this place. read more
