    Ube latte and cappuccino
    Sami R.

I live up the street and was really excited to see that the neighborhood got a new coffee shop. I usually walk 6 blocks up Polk so this was going to be great. I got an ube latte and a cappuccino. Decent coffee. I really enjoyed the ube latte. Now.... $9.75 for a 12oz flavored drink with regular milk??? Kinda wild even for San Francisco. Im guessing it's because it's a touristy area but I think I'll get my steps in and walk to another place with more reasonable pricing. Limited seating, not sure if you can work from there but maybe when there isn't a morning rush! I didn't check for outlets. Staff were nice and they have pastries, bagels, and I think breakfast sandwiches.

    Cinnamon roll

I don't leave reviews often, but I absolutely had to write one for Signal. I'd been seeing their cinnamon rolls all over TikTok, and was desperately hoping to try one. I called the shop to ask if they had any left for the day, and the owner answered. First, he checked the store cameras to see if there were any left. They were sold out for the day, but he told me he would set one aside for me the following morning so I could be sure to get one. We talked on the phone for a few minutes and he told me about the rest of their menu, including their house-made syrups and other baked goods. When I went in the following morning, not only did he remember me AND had set me aside a roll, the team also followed up after I tagged them in my Instagram story, saying they hope I enjoyed the roll and my visit! I don't think I've EVER had this level of customer service from a coffee shop, not to mention the cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy but melty, sweet but not too sweet, and big enough to share. The iced latte was also great, it was strong without being burnt or bitter. I will definitely be back here, partly for the food, and partly because the team was so incredible. Keep it up!!!!

Great little coffee joint on the outskirts of Fisherman's Wharf. When you need a break from the corporate Starbucks and something little bit better than the drip coffee offered in the shops around the wharf, this is your place! It might be slightly far from the sights but they have a great location on the corner of North Beach and Leavenworth. It's a small location but they have seating both inside and out. They have quite a bit of selection of pastries, snacks and coffee drinks as well as coffee that you can pick up. Service was quick and great! Coffee tasted high quality and worth the walk from some of the more common coffee shops.

Cute cafe with small selectionnof breakfast food items and pastries. Prices are expectedly exorbitant. One small latte, one breakfast sandwich and one egg frittata ran us $30! Nothing was spectacular. But the service was all around friendly. It is a small location with small table seating and bartop inside and several small table settings along the exterior front.

Breakfast sandwich and black sesame latte

Seating is relatively limited, but good for a quick stop. I tried their breakfast sandwich (~$12-14) and black sesame latte ($8.50 ). The latte was good, but the sandwich is so good I want another one writing about it! Very busy on a Saturday morning, so give yourself some time.

Loved this spot! While visiting San Fran, went on my early morning run and stopped at this place for my coffee right after. Service was great and coffee matched!

Simply the best coffee. In addition to the staff being unfailingly pleasant and super fast, the bottom line is that the coffee is friggin excellent. So happy they are in my work neighborhood so my afternoons can fly by with the help of awesome coffee.

    Oat Cappuccino

A great addition to the neighborhood! There's a dearth of good coffee shops that roast their own beans in the wharf area, so I'm very excited about this one. I've already had two cappuccinos from SIGNAL, and both were flavorful and smooth. I was already familiar with SIGNAL from their Berkeley location and the Ferry Building Farmers Market, and this location does not disappoint.

DO NOT PAY FOR DELIVERY…read more We paid extra to have our order delivered to our hotel and used the restaurant's order-ahead option. We scheduled the delivery for 9:20 a.m., but by 8:40 a.m. the app showed it had already been delivered. The problem? There was no food at our hotel room. I tried contacting the delivery driver by text, but never received a response. It was incredibly frustrating, especially after leaving a generous tip. We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.

It seems like there's also an upstairs but did not get the chance to check it out. I got an iced latte with their almond macadamia milk, and they're also so nice to do complimentary cold brew! So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

It had a very subtle matcha flavor, but I couldn't taste the grassiness. The sea green color was aesthetically pleasing when combined with the grassy matcha hue. As a drink, it is refreshing, but as a matcha latte, I felt there was too much milk, which drowns out the matcha flavor. 6/5 Kopi Klepon, Iced This was too delicious, I kept stealing sips from my partner (instead of drinking my own drink) and would order this one again. There was some coconutty sweetness, which added delicious complexity, and slight bitterness that pairs well with the sweet. In terms of flavor, this coffee drink rivals Vietnamese coffee. 4/5 Pandan Bolu This sponge cake-like pastry was springy and bouncy, with a medium green hue. Sadly, there was barely any detectable pandan flavor, but at least it was moist with a good texture. I'd come back if in the area and craving a strong, tasty coffee.
