Over the next six months, we went back and forth trying to troubleshoot between America's Tire and two different Tesla service centers, all while dealing with a car that shook pretty violently at freeway speed. When we finally brought it back again (after the first inquiry post-install), the team took another look and discovered that the foam lining (the sound dampening foam designed to reduce road noise) had come loose inside of all four tires! They removed the foam and the difference was immediate. The car drives like new again. Huge thank you to Aaron, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient throughout the process. He also really helped as a liaison between us and Goodyear, making a frustrating situation much easier to navigate. While the situation itself was definitely a headache, the team here at America's Tire stuck with it and helped get us to a resolution. Then he realized he didn't have the right size tool and would have to run to the store. I asked if we could just find a tire shop close by which might be able to install them for us, since we would need to go to the store for the parts anyways. Came on Yelp and found Roseville Tire Center, one of the few places open on a Sunday. They even have a mobile service! We got a quote and then drove over to their place, which is close to Roundhouse Deli (amazing tritip tacos, fyi). The place is definitely not fancy but they were able to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Jose even charged us less than he quoted us on the phone, which I think is such a nice thing to do, because he technically could have gotten more money from the job but didn't. Great place to bring your tires to for installation. They don't look like they have a lot of new tires to purchase (like your normal Costco, Les Schwab, America's Tire Center, Firestone, etc) but they are great for labor like installation or repairs. One of the unexpected perks has been their complimentary Air Check service. Customers can simply pull right in, and an associate will check and top off the tire pressure if needed. Even though this isn't our "home" location, I happened to be nearby and stopped in. Catherine greeted me with a smile and graciously got my tires aired up and back to the proper pressure in just a few minutes. At first, I was told the tires were at 4/32 and that replacing all four was recommended. Since it is a company vehicle, I told them to contact my employer for approval. My company decided to wait until replacement tires could be ordered and shipped. After we declined the immediate replacement, their story suddenly changed. They came back and claimed the tires were actually at 3/32, said the vehicle was unsafe to drive, and refused to patch the tire because of "liability." They then told us that all four tires would need to be replaced before they would perform the patch. The inconsistent measurements and sudden change in their position made this feel dishonest and completely sales-driven. If the tires were truly unsafe, that should have been clearly stated from the beginning--not after we declined to purchase four new tires. I came in for a patch and left feeling like they were using the situation to force an unnecessary sale. I would not trust this location's recommendations or measurements.

The new shop manager recently helped me find a basically brand-new set of used Bridgestone tires for just over $400, installed, balanced, and out the door (Even still have the new "tire spikes". I usually go with Michelin, but these Bridgestones helped me save a few bucks and still feel like a great set of tires. The team here is always super friendly, easy to talk to, and really knowledgeable. Every time I come in, they get me taken care of and back out the door without any hassle. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable recommending it to family and friends, and I do all the time. If I had one wish for this shop, it would be that they offered alignments -- and if I'm really pushing it, maybe oil changes too -- just to make it a one-stop shop. After calling around to multiple shops in the Sacramento area, S&S had the best pricing and overall deal by far. I had all 4 tires replaced on my 2018 Audi Q7, and Moe took the time to go over several different options depending on budget and brand. I really appreciated that he didn't try to push anything unnecessary--he simply explained the choices and helped me decide what worked best. The tires were ordered and delivered within a few days, and when I came in for the appointment the service was incredibly fast. From start to finish it took about 35-45 minutes to remove the old tires, mount and balance the new ones, and torque everything properly. One thing I really respected is that they torque the lug nuts to factory specifications using an actual torque wrench, not just an air gun like many places do. No scratches Or damage to the wheels. That attention to detail shows professionalism. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the service. Everything was done correctly--no warning lights, tire pressure issues, or problems afterwards.
