I appreciate the thoughtful conversation we had about 3 concepts I was considering and her desire to connect to better understand my hope and vision for a 2nd tattoo. She was open to a fluffy vaulting panda idea inspired by a Japanese-style watercolor painting with structure in black ink and a few green accents as bamboo leaves. She also captured 4 Chinese characters beautifully as calligraphy representing "Surrender" and "Victory." Nat is kind, patient, thoughtful, intentional, and her artwork and passion for art, patterns, symbols, plants, books, and music is inspirational. My experience was 10/10, and I intend to return for additional work in the near future. I highly recommend her and the Guru studio, which has assembled and invested in talented artists who offer outstanding value and customer service with positive energy.

Soooooo now I got a random unfinished cover up.... Finally met jar which I got my little flowers on my right shoulder with my first time meeting him... I had to ask about fixing my cover up... now here we are today. Cover ups are hard, and this was a 2nd cover up but he was able to free style it all. I made an appointment with Mia at High Class Tattoos because I liked the artwork showcased on their…read morewebsite and social media. However, when I arrived, I was unexpectedly assigned to a different tattoo artist without any prior notice or explanation. I started with a small single-star tattoo, and unfortunately, the quality was very poor. I decided to stop the session before moving forward with any additional work. Afterward, I learned that the artist was the owner's daughter, and she asked her father to step in and fix the tattoo. At that point, I asked where Mia was and was told that she was in the shop tattooing another client. I was then informed that all of the artists share the same Instagram and Facebook accounts, that one person manages the social media pages, and that the artwork posted online is a collection of work from multiple artists. As a customer, I found this extremely misleading. The portfolio displayed on the website and social media gave me the impression that I was booking with a specific artist based on their work. Instead, I was assigned to someone else whose skill level did not match the quality of the work that attracted me to the shop in the first place. I believe each tattoo artist should have a clearly identified portfolio on the website and social media so clients know exactly whose work they are viewing and who they are booking with. Customers should not be randomly assigned to a different artist without their knowledge or consent. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. Transparency matters, especially when choosing a tattoo artist. Potential customers should be aware that the artist they book may not be the artist whose work convinced them to schedule an appointment.

I guess…read morelike the tattoo says, I will have to get comfortable with how uncomforFable this tattoo looks I went here last year for finger tattoos done by Isaac, they did not stick whatsoever. I went back to have them redone, and they still didn't hold. Fast forward to last week, I came back (not realizing it was the same shop at first) and decided to give them another chance. They recommended an artist named Dominic for a script tattoo. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Before the tattoo even started, there were red flags I should've listened to. He asked me if I wanted to place the stencil because he couldn't get it centered. On top of that, he went out to the car to grab his iPad from a little boy running around, and then came back and didn't change his gloves. Completely unsanitary and unprofessional. Not only was the work poorly done, but the script literally looks like a 5-year-old wrote it... shaky, uneven, and completely unprofessional. On top of that, he actually misspelled one of the words through the stencil. He tried to "correct" it with what he called skin-colored ink (which is basically white ink), and now it looks even worse. And told me to "pick the black ink out when it is healing" Even after I made it clear I was unhappy, they still charged me $250 for two short sentences... one of which is spelled incorrectly. I reached out to the part owner to resolve this, and it turns out it's Isaac , the same person who did my tattoos last year. He told me I'd get a half refund and that he'd let me know when to come pick it up. Since then, I've called and messaged multiple times with zero response. Unprofessional, careless work, and terrible customer service. If I could give negative stars, I would.. Photos for reference
