One star for the Service Center... I bought a used 2021 2SS 1LE Camaro from out of state a couple years ago... I used Simi Valley Chevrolet to help me sort the car out as they were the closest dealer to me. I had 4 visits here. Each time, the service center is really over-crowded and slow. We're talking all day for an oil change.... or all day to spend 10 seconds on the car trying to "address a customer concern". That part is pretty bad... The two worst things that happened to me: 1. Had the car there for a Oil Change/Rear Differential Fluid change... they used the wrong fluid on the car for the Rear Differential Fluid change.... (75W-140) instead of (75W-90).... I didn't realize it until now.... about 1 1/2 years later. Also worth noting, the fluid they did use cost about 50% more instead of the fluid that should have been used. 2. My Electric Power Steering rack temporarily went out once... I brought the car to them and they diagnosed it within 5 seconds of their scan tool being plugged in... they agreed to replace the entire Electric Power Steering rack under warranty... never happened. I kept in touch with my Service Advisor who kept telling there were parts delays, which was fair enough... but then she stopped giving me updates and that was the end of it. I was only provided updates when I would ask, until that completely stopped. So they take forever to do simple service, sometimes they use the wrong fluids, and even better... sometimes they don't do anything and won't follow through. I realize the job isn't easy and I respect anyone that works in this industry... which is why I left names out of this public post, but I will tell you there's other places that do it better than this place. I never had such a smooth experience in purchasing a vehicle ever, and I have purchased 18 vehicles. Ryan approached me and was totally professional and knowledgeable about the 2025 Traverse I wanted to purchase. After a quick discussion I asked if there were dealer add ons, and found out that they have a added LOWJACK to the vehicle and it could NOT be removed. I said I was leaving to Ryan and he said let me check with my manager, I waited 2 minutes and Ryan returned with John, and we talked for 30 seconds, and the LOWJACK was NOT a issue and it was removed. After that, we agreed on a price and that was it. Smooth!!! I was shocked that it was over in 20 minutes, the paperwork was longer, but that's paperwork. I received the advertised price and my incentives to drop the price lower. It all worked out for me, and I am sure the dealership did well also. But, New truck was missing rear floor mats and we were told we would get them soon. 6 weeks later and still no floor mats. The people are great! After a bad experience with Anderson Autos I drive from Agoura Hills to do business with Simi Valley Chevrolet. They have serviced my 2022 Silverado High Country since new. Recently I took it in because I discovered a rodent in the engine pan and a nest on top of the air intake. They charged a minimal fee to find the location where the nesting materials were torn from. I got a quote and will have the repairs done next time they service the vehicle. Luckily nothing important was damaged. I asked for a price to buff out a rub mark on my door made by a bush in the desert. They had it buffed out when I returned for the truck that evening. No additional charge on the bill. Who does that? This review isn't for the gentleman who assisted us, Neema. He was very nice and welcoming. He was helpful answering any questions we had. His manager or whatever he was, I don't even remember his name. We drove over an hour to see the car, this manager was so unhelpful & super passive aggressive. First he tried to rip me off of my trade in. I have a 2019 traverse, which another dealer had told me was worth a little over $27k, he offered me $21k. I even did my own trade in value on several different sites and my car was valued at $26k or more. Then he wanted us to put $12k down with a high payment. Clearly he wasn't there to help us and was all about the money. When we told me where we wanted to be at and I even showed him the paper from the other dealership showing him my car's value he pretty much just laughed in our face. There was NO WAY we were going to let him scam us into $8k of negative equity. Definitely felt like this whole visit was a scam. I ultimately regretted even considering this dealership. Customer service is definitely not a priority for them, just scamming you of thousands of dollars is! read more

I saw no damage done so I proceeded about 30 mins later I get a notification on my phone that my credit was ran .. I called the dealership and they said you filled out the form and I explained to them what it says on the form and they didn't seem to care, emailed to speak with a manager and I have yet to receive a email or call This is not right of the dealership to take advantage of people this was or not look into the situation... THEFT , SNARKY COMMENTS, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT My Husband and I notified the sales manager as well as a sales associate by the name of Gabby that we were interested in a Yukon. We notified them both that we were coming from San Diego co. (This is a 3 hour drive) a day before to make sure that they knew we were coming. The morning of the drive we called to make sure the vehicle was still there and to tell them that we were on our way. They said they had the vehicle pulled up and ready for us. On arrival we walked into the sales room, we were greeted with a argument from a customer accusing the service team of stealing items out of his car (major turn off), soon after we were greeted by a associate who asked us if we needed help. We told him we had an appointment to look at the Yukon and we'd like to talk to Gabby. Gabby came out and took us to the vehicle. The vehicle was not washed, it had makeup smears on the interior and was no at all what you expect a new car to be. We asked Gabby why the car was so dirty if she knew for days that we were coming and from so far as well. She said "you have to buy the car to have us wash it" and laughed. EXCUSE ME? No you have to do your job and sell the car before we buy it. The experience was horrible and definitely not an establishment I'd spend $76,000 at. The audacity of a sales person to talk to a us a customer in that manner is unbelievable to me! We called the sales manager right after our experience to express our dissatisfaction and he made excuses for the theft stating he can't control what the mechanics do (so theft is out of his hands?) and then he made excuses for why the car had not been washed. He told us that the sales lady used a bad choice of words but he didn't see the big deal with our complaint. He also went on to tell us to "change out tact".
