We had the whole house repiped and water heaters replaced and it took them one day. They worked until nearly 9 pm and 50+ holes later, they were done. We were feeling good about the project until we then had the dry wall repair ppl come in to fix all the holes. They put up plastic sheets to seal off the different areas but the problem was when they took it down, they were in such a hurry that a lot of the dry wall dust escaped the plastic sheets and spread through all the furnishings and other areas. It's been 2 months and we are still wiping surfaces and nooks and crannies where the dry wall dust settled. I wish they could have been more careful installing the plastic tents, sealing the top with tapes and then finally removing it without a puff of dry wall dust coming out of it. I am really glad we chose SIMPEX for our re-pipe in July 2022. Four months later and I am still a very happy customer. I have no regrets! The value and service is excellent. The company is very professional and offers a great warranty. They were willing to get permits and the city inspector said that Simpex did above and beyond what was required in the re-pipe process. The whole re-pipe was done in one day and the next day the drywall and patching was completed. I had very little time without water. This is a huge plus when you are doing a re-pipe. Dante, the sales rep, came to our home on time and offered us many options. I had a lot of questions regarding keeping our fairly new water heater vs. purchasing a tankless and whether we should get a recirculation pump to get hot water faster. Dante answered everything thoroughly and professionally. He was not trying to upsell me, instead he gave me honest advice and I chose to do the whole house repipe with the Uponor Pex and a Halo water filtration system, and change three shower valves in my bathrooms, while keeping my almost new water heater. This was just right for my family and my home. The pipes are so quiet now. I have excellent water pressure. The hot water is hot right away. (I didn't go with the recirculation pump, Dante was right, we didn't need it). The Halo water filtration system is excellent. We now have clean drinking and washing water with a significant reduction in scale and it is maintenance free. As you can see, I am a detailed person, I did my research and interviewed several local plumbers and asked neighbors who had re-piped. I got several quotes, all were much higher priced than Simpex and the other companies were unable to complete the job in one day. Tanya, in the office, was always pleasant and helpful with scheduling and pricing. At one point I even spoke with the owner, Brian who answered all my questions regarding my shower valves and risers thoroughly. Many aspects of the work that was done by Simpex Repipe and Plumbing deserve 5 Stars, however the one thing that really drags it down was Day Two, the patchwork.. Dante C. was great and very professional and informative. We immediately liked him and his being able to answer every question we had was appreciated. The office staff was also very good and attentive to every call I made. The installation day came and proceeded pretty much like I thought it would. Lots of holes in the ceilings and walls, but I was grateful that the crew was quick and able to get the PEX pulled throughout. They seemed to really work well together, as a team.. my big issue and what prevents me from granting a 5 Star review is the cleanup and Day Two patchwork.. average and lacking. I understood I would need to clean and be responsible for painting the repaired drywall, but it was disappointing that despite all of the plastic sheets they hung, drywall dust was everywhere. We spent a good three days dusting every surface that was covered in dust and then a second time just to clean the drywall residue.. I am attaching some pictures of the floors that will show what it looked like after one of the crew used a wet mop to clean up the dust.. may have been better off just letting me vacuum it first and then clean the flooring.. another part of the experience I felt was shoddy was the patchwork.. in some spots I noticed little threads hanging out from the drywall.. I couldn't pull on it because I quickly realized it was the patching mesh they used when covering the holes.. they used a texture spray on the drywall repairs that was well past what that of the texture on all other walls. This created large spots of over texturing that was obvious as you walk near the walls. Despite extra coats of paint, it would not cover up the over texturing that was done. Again, I was pleased with the install, but the patchwork and cleanup were what brought me to drop the rating to a 5 Star. On a positive note, we are very pleased with the tankless water heater and conditioner that was installed. Hot water quickly and reduced waiting time. * Lastly, we also appreciate the company's responsiveness to fixing an issue with our guest bathroom plumbing (drain pipe) that may have become accidentally dislodged when the installers were underneath and connecting the water lines. read more

This is a second time I'm using Simpex repipe company , they are very efficient and professional, it takes them less than a day to repipe my 1700 squar feet house and next day finish the drywall. Most of all their pricing is way better than repipe one and other bigger company , basically all of the repipe company do the same thing and use the same material so why would you pay more to repipe your house . They are good (average good) but definitely not 5 stars. For the price they charge for a 2-day work, I expect them to have a supervisor to check the work and ensure everything is perfect. **Bad Things:** The salesperson didn't disclose that the shower riser was not included in the quote as they rushed to beat a competitor's quote. Additionally, the $300 shower head they suggested wasn't a good fit for my setup. Their repipe work and patching require supervision. They lack a project manager or supervisor to check the plumber or patch crew's work after completion. As a busy person, I had to personally inspect the work, find gaps they missed, email the owner, Joseph, and negotiate what had been missed and how they should compensate. The project was supposed to finish in 3 days, but due to these misses and some back-and-forth, it took almost 5 days. **Good Things:** They have a hardworking crew who are punctual and listen to requests. Joseph tried his best to compensate for the misses, but for someone like me, time is precious, and compensating for the two extra days would be worth much more than the small discounts Joseph provided. **Tips:** 1. Ensure you ask the sales rep if changing the shower riser is part of the deal. 2. Avoid buying the cheap shower head and valve they try to upsell for $300. 3. Make sure they empty old pipes of water with a vacuum machine and properly close the old pipes. 4. Ask if they can provide a project manager to supervise their team so you don't need to spend time finding gaps. 5. Check every single hole they open to ensure it's patched properly; I found one or two small holes that were missed or not patched properly. 6. Ask to include the county permit in the quote. 7. Book your painter in advance so the painter can start work right after they finish (it takes 2-3 days for the drywall to complete the drying process). read more

It was a 1967 house. Slab floor and probably all galvanized pipe. Flip type remodel maybe 15 years ago. Put SOME copper in the attic but left one galvanized line that of course broke. (I hate poor quality cheap repairs. ). Came home to fallen ceiling and water leaking in the dining room. We turned off all the water. Competent professional estimate and they were ready to begin the process in 2 days. Sadly our schedule wouldn't work out so we rescheduled for 2 weeks later. No problem. The crew showed up on time and worked all day. There were maybe 8 people(?) but they were coordinated and efficient. People opening the walls, people in the attic, one guy digging to replace the main service line. They said that we would have water back by the end of the day. I was skeptical but they did it! Wow! Obviously this was not their first repipe project. The first day ended with good pipes, good pressure and good flow. (Suggestion do everything. I was glad we did. The main line was half plugged) Happy to have water back. The next day another crew arrived to patch all the drywall that was opened up for the pipes. Again the people worked together and everything was covered up by the end of the second day. We had to get another contractor to fix the fallen ceiling because their process is to do only the repipe job not other damage repair. Probably why they were so good with the plumbing work. On May 1st. I had my home repiped by Simpex. I was pleased every step of the way. Step ONE was the estimate with Dante. He was very thorough and I could tell he had been in the plumbing business a long time. I wanted a utility sink installed in the garage and he said it would not be a problem. He also suggested adding another hose bib on the side of the house which is very convenient. Also since I have a pool and a water softener, he suggested adding a raw water line. The estimate he purposed was less expensive than another company that came out AND it included more things. Step TWO: The workmen that came out to repipe and were hardworking and cleaned up nicely. It really pains me to write this review as I always am looking for a business that I can give projects to for years to come. The plumber came to my house to replace 2 toilets. He gave me a price and I assumed that's what it costs as they know this market and I trusted they are reputable business with reasonable and fair prices. Positive: The plumber did a good install, was courteous and left the job site clean. Negative: About 10 minutes after the plumber finished the job and left my home, I got a quote from a competitor for OVER $1,000 LESS. I contacted Simpex with my concern and forwarded on the lower quote. Ultimately they offered to refund 10% which is insulting. I was ABOLUTELY ripped off. It was the same toilet and labor so we are comparing Apples to Apples. I asked to meet in the middle with a $500 refund, this way they still make good money and I get a more fair price. They refused. Really short sighted thinking and no way to run a business. I was looking to have a "go to" plumber for future needs including a water softening system. read more

It was time to upgrade the old kitchen sink that we've had for over 20 years. Glad that I was able to come across Simplex during my search. Joel was able to perform an on-site visit, provide details about the work that would be required and provided a quote on the spot. Some of the considerations in making my decision to work with Simplex consisted of the following criteria Are they responsive? Is the pricing fair? Do they get good reviews? Are they polite? Do they appear to know what they are doing? Are they flexible with scheduling and can they get in on a short time frame? The answer to all those questions was yes. To be honest, they weren't even the cheapest quote that I received. However, after speaking with Joel and knowing that he would most likely be the person to install, I followed my gut and paid a little extra knowing that the job would be done right. I was definitely happy with the service, the sink was installed without a hitch. We encountered an issue with fitment of the sink in the existing granite countertop. We did a complete repipe plus installed a whole house water filter back in June 2024. We did a bathroom, kitchen, laundry room downstairs and 2 bathrooms upstairs. Very satisfied with their work and how quickly they did it. The first crew came on Thursday morning, disconnected the water, taped up plastic dropcloth everywhere, cut holes in the inside and outside walls and the 1st floor ceiling, routed new Pex pipes, ran additional hot/cold lines to the exterior area that we added, installed the whole house filter, turned back on the water and cleaned up everything. Probably took about 10 hours that day. The patch crew came on Friday morning, taped up plastic dropcloth, stuffed insulation back in the walls, patched the outside stucco, replaced drywall in the interior walls and ceiling, applied the drywall mud and texture color coated all the patched drywall and cleaned up everything. Probably took 7 hours that day. Everything is working great. Enjoying the filtered water at all inside faucets. read more

After deciding to do a full Repipe due to two slab leaks, I searched Yelp for a Repipe company. I received quotes from Simpex and Ameri-Cal Repipe as these were the only two companies able to provide me estimates in a timely manner on a weekend. Although Ameri-Cal's quote was lower by $600, I decided to go with Simpex because of their ability to start the job sooner. Since both companies rate well with customers, I decided to go this route. The estimate process and scheduling with the sales rep was smooth and he was very thorough with explaining the process and what to expect on my end. The Repipe would occur on day 1 and the patchwork, drywall, and stucco repair would occur on day 2. Six crew members were sent for the Repipe on day 1. The crew set up protection for the floors, walls, and furniture was moved to give space to work. The house was complete chaos and there were tons of holes in the ceiling and walls. Work started at 8am and finished by 10pm. Our house has metal framing, therefore took about 4 hours longer to complete than a typical wood framed house.. but the Repipe was completed that day as promised! The following day, four crew members showed up to do the drywall and stucco repair. They were diligent, courteous, and thorough. Work was completed by 5pm. This crew did a fantastic job with their patchwork! Once we did the painting afterwards we couldn't tell the holes were even made. I had some minor water dripping from a wall valve, notified Simpex, and they sent a plumber the following day to repair. The drywall crew's van accidentally broke a sprinkler pipe under the front yard grass. Called Simpex and they had another crew come out the next day to repair. I had been having an issue with high water pressure coming and going, in excess of 90-100 psi when it would occur, and it eventually became consistent over a weekend which necessitated needing to get a water pressure regulator added onto the main line. I called Simpex and spoke with Phu, who was able to help get me a same day appointment with Jaime to install one. Jaime showed up within an hour and was able to install a regulator where there previously was not one, as well as replacing the pipe going to the hose bib that comes right off the main line. He was very knowledgeable, and more than willing to answer the questions I had about the installation process and operation of the regulator.
