Mackenzie our server was a delight! We ate here tonight, the last time we ate here was 34 years ago on our 4th date. We had just as lovely a time as 3 decades ago. The food was delicious and we enjoyed everything! The booths are set up to offer a private experience even if the restaurant is full. Well done!

My husband and I have been tossing around the idea of going out for fondue recently, so for my birthday he made reservation at Simply Fondue and boy and I glad he did! Along with a friend of ours we had the 4 Course meal and it was amazing! Our server, Erica, was friendly, knowledgable, attentive, and went above and beyond!!! She made great suggestions, and I could tell she took pride in making sure my birthday dinner was a fantastic experience. She also makes a mean cheese course, it was so good!!!

I'm fond of what they do.... hyuk, hyuk, hyuk. Fondue may be overrated, and it so is. Seriously, just thinking about it makes me want to start taking off stars, but it ain't this restaurant's fault. If boiling your own meat in a communal pot is your thing, this place will totally hook you up with the tools to do so. And of course, this being Texas the queso is killer.

Ambience was great, not too many people were there, and the 4 course dinner was fun to experience. We got the whiskey cheddar cheese appetizer, our own salads, we each got to pick three proteins, and finally, a chocolate fondue dessert (we chose the sea salt caramel chocolate). My husband liked the Montreal pork loin best and I enjoyed the sweet soy salmon best for the proteins, although they all were really good. Our server was really sweet and attentive. My only recommendations on things I would change: 1) music was really loud and we could barely hear each other talk at times- turn it down a couple of notches. 2) my Gorgonzola apple salad was great but it was drenched in dressing- lighten it up a little.

This is a cute date spot. Grab the Groupon if you can. The servers are all phenomenal. So friendly. The food was ok- my biggest frustration was with the cheese course. We ordered the French onion fondue and it was delish but the veggies it is served with are like leftovers that belong on a veggie platter. Carrots, celery, broccoli and cauliflower. They could do way better here. It also did not look very appetizing. Also- the cheese is supposed to coat the dippers but it slid right off so it was like you got no cheese- kind of a bummer. The salad, protein and chocolate fondue were pretty good. It's simple food but could be done nicer. The flambe on the chocolate fondue was a nice touch.

Erica (with a "c") is an angel sent from heaven to bring fondue to the people. Coming from a small town, I'd never even heard of Fondue and she was my Sherpa through a world of tantalizing melted cheeses, seared meats, and sensual chocolate. I cannot thank her enough for her dedicated service and genuine love for fondue. She's an inspiration and I will 100% be back.

We made reservations for a party of 7 and showed up at the time of our reservation . We were seated quickly and our waiter explained how the menu worked and helped us order. It was very dim lighting and perfect for a date night. We had kids so tried to keep them quiet so others could enjoy their meal. Sunday is kids eat free a which we didn't know going in but we're happy about that. It's a bit pricey for food you ultimately cook yourself but it's the experience that makes it worth it.

I've been here several times, it's one of my favorite restaurants in the area! It's a very special dining experience, you cook your main entrees, dip veggies and bread into the melted cheese, and dip treats into the chocolate. I like doing the four course meal, which includes cheese fondue, salad, main entree fondue, and chocolate fondue. Each course you make personal selections for the type of cheese, proteins for the entrees, your favorite salad and chocolate, plus the cooking style for the main course to your liking(broths or oil). I recommend the oil method so you can get the option to use batter on some of the proteins. Especially the stuffed mushrooms, the only way to get those is with the oil cooking method. (Order extra stuffed mushrooms during the main course, they are my favorite part of the meal!) However, their protein selection is great, including a variety beef, chicken, pork and seafood. There are several delicious dipping sauces during the main course, my obsession is the tarragon honey mustard, and the close second being the creamy horseradish. I've always had attentive and friendly service here too. There's also a full bar and drink menu. For a date night or celebration, it's the most unique and perfect place!

One of our favorite date nights! Be ready for a 2 hour meal of LOVE! The drinks are delicious and we get the four-course meal. That's cheese fondue, salad, main course, and then the FABULOUS dessert fondue. Tonight we tried the whiskey cheddar. . Hubs goes for Caesar salad but I love the Gorgonzola salad. Tiger shrimp and Mahi-Mahi were great. I liked the Texas Tenderloin too! Dessert we tried the peanut butter fondue...superb! Restrooms clean and great waitstaff. Very efficient and friendly. We will be back. (Check Groupon)

Tyler was so personable and easy to talk to that we thought he was a veteran at Simply Fondue. Little did we know it was his first day on the floor. Well, he took such great care of us. Our cheese fondue starter was so tasty and then we had our choice of proteins and then ended with chocolate fondue which is a must. FYI, pace yourself lol. It had been ages since we enjoyed fondue and it sounded like a fun way to spend a sleepy Sunday evening and we had a great night. The food was delish and the service was excellent.

Great food, fun dining for special occasions. A bit pricey but have weekly specials that may work for tour schedule.

First, you walk in and you're introduced to a small, charming, and warm space that looks straight out of a children's fairytale. Don't forget to grab a little surprise card (child friendly and adult friendly) either before you sit down or on your way out. Cute conversation starters and reflection inspiration! My objective of the night was dessert, so I didn't even bother to look at the savory souffles. While waiting for our server, my eyes were captivated by the twinkling lights around me (in the indoor space) and the sight and sounds of the chefs whisking away the souffles before they went in the oven. I was expecting Ratatouille's Remy to pop out. Anyway, as we gazed through the dessert menu, we thought we were enlightened already, but it only got better -- the specials: Strawberry and Pistachio. I'm regretting only getting the Pistachio because it was just so dang good. Will definitely be back. Austin is missing out. I started with the marshmallow soup, which is really a puffy goat cheese ball on top of carrot tomato soup, can't recommend this enough. My main entrée was the southwest chicken soufflé, and it was the only part of my meal. I was so so about. I would not order it again. But I did eat most of it. The chocolate soufflé was fantastic, I loved every bit of it and pouring the chocolate on top was so satisfying. Verdict: I would go again!

He checked on us often to make sure we had enough of the unlimited veggies and sauces. He chatted with us and constantly cleared our empty plates. He was the only server, but he was able to take amazing care of every table. He gladly changed the channel so we could watch the hockey playoffs and had us stand in front of the Japanese cherry blossom wall so he could take pictures of us on my phone. 5 out of 5 service It is a beautiful spacious restaurant with booth seating and counter seating (there is also a private room with a tv and a Shabu table set for 20). The tables are already set with plates, utensils, and pots with water and seaweed (kombu) 4 out of 5 for decor and ambiance I wish I could have liked the food more, but here's my honest opinion. I paid extra for spicy miso broth (I think an extra $2.50). They mix spicy miso paste into the water that is already boiling at your table. Even with hot drops, it was disappointingly bland. There are 3 dipping sauces: garlic teriyaki, ponzu (surprisingly sweet which I didn't enjoy), and peanut sauce (again bland). Nice that the sauces are unlimited, too bad they're not delicious tho. There were many choices of meat. I chose choice ribeye. You order by the ounce here so I ordered 8oz. High quality meat for the price. They give you a really small plate of veggies to start, but then if you ask for more (it's unlimited) they give you a giant bowl of spinach, tofu, carrots, mushroom, cabbage, and broccoli. You're also given white rice and your choice of noodle. I chose ramen, but it wasn't your usual ramen noodle. It was a tiny bowl with a handful of super thin noodles that took a long time to cook. 3 out of 5 for food Would I come back here? Yes! There aren't any other Japanese shabu restaurants around AND Sonny was awesome!
