    Peach Bellini Iced Tea

Excellent local coffee & tea house! Just had the homemade iced peach raspberry black tea! So fabulous!!!

Warm Christmas vibes in Sip House

Stepping in from the cold, we were warmly greeted by the owner who is one of the most lovely people we've ever met. Our barista prepared the most delicious coffee and hot chocolate, we couldn't get over the homemade whipped cream which was INCREDIBLE. She also delivered it right to where we were sitting, and this is the type of place that encourages you to settle in with a good book and feel right at home. Visiting from Florida, this warm and welcoming space was an oasis on our cold night. An additional bonus is that Sip House featured local artists and products, so we were able to Christmas shop! It turned out our barista also makes beautiful clay earrings, we can't wait to visit again next time we are in Maine.

They judged opened 3 months ago! Go show your support to local businesses. The gentleman who greeted us was so friendly. The cafe was full of unique tea accessories and tea brands. My favorite is Forte Tea which is super hard to find! Stop by here before you go shopping and get your hot cup of tea/coffee! I had the Caramel Macchiato which was perfect Free parking in the back lot!

    Baklava

We pass by Freeport to visit some friends, and after a long drive we were in need of some coffee. We found this ZesTea and we couldn't believe! The best baklava on the United States is sold in a little cozy coffee shop in Maine. Delicious coffee, and even better pastries. They offer a great selection of coffee, tea, and have a beautiful and very unique selection of handmade souvenirs. This will be my first stop next time I'm in Freeport! Thank you to elif and arda for this treasure in ME.

Great coffee and homemade pastries, including turkish options that are hard to find anywhere else. Super friendly owners, too.

After 1hr and 45 minutes of waiting for our food, promises that the food is coming from the poor waitress, no food. The restaurant was emptying out. Mind you, this is for two plates of scrambled eggs, toast and home fries. This was the attitude directly from the owner to the waitress. The owner could have cared less. The worst treatment I've ever experienced from a breakfast joint. I'll never go again and would advise people to not go as well. 0 out of 10 rating. The waitress was apologetic and frankly embarrassed by the owner's attitude.

I will say they appear to have their baked goods as well as many different food options like sandwiches but my review is strictly for the coffee. Once you enter to the right is all the different seating with a good variety of tables and chairs but also some more comfy choices like couches. Quite a large space inside and a handful of tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. You order at the counter and then they have a spot further down where they'll call out your name for both food and drinks. They had a section on the menu called the MET Artistic Lattes which was their version of specialty flavored lattes. This caught our eyes. My wife went with the Falcon Pride (chocolate & white chocolate latte) and I went with the Vanilla Bean Dream (white chocolate & vanilla). Drink wise they were both pretty good! Didn't become a new favorite coffee spot but good enough we would return if we found ourselves in the area looking for coffee again. To have a real strong opinion I would need to return and try some of the food rather than just the coffee.

I like the geographical location. I like the big, free…read moreparking lot. I like the interior: it has old, historic Maine building vibes (the exposed brick, the wooden floors, the large windows with accent shutters). I like the coffee (it's from a local roaster; shame on other coffee shops for not buying their beans from Maine businesses). I like the staff: I had A LOT of weird requests, and the person ringing me up was like, "yeah, we got you, girl" (not like that, but you get the point). I like the abundance of non-dairy creamer options. I like the very Maine themed lattes (like, The Golden Road? IYKYK) I like the very seasonal themed lattes. I like that they're dog friendly. I asked them if it was possible to get the Down East Maple Latte iced (with an extra shot) and additionally a healthy sprinkle of sea salt. It was the saltiest latte I've ever had in my life, but like, in a good way? It was a gentle amount of sweet, strong on the espresso flavor, and salty. I would absolutely come out of my way to WFM here!

I submit this for management to take corrective action,…read more I stopped in for a quick cup of coffee. One would think this would be a non event. The coffee was served in a hand made mug with no handle. WAY TOO HOT to hold. When I pointed this out the server moved on to mistake number two. "You can pick it up at the rim," she suggested, and then proceeded to demonstrate, putting her fingers ALL OVER the rim.... DISGUSTING! There is an old expression in the food service business where top third of a glass, mug etc. belongs to the customer. In a 15 second interaction they managed to screw up a simple cup of coffee.....For A COFFEE SHOP, you would think they would be savvy about such simple minded matters.... Had her pour into a paper cup and bit my tongue.....Get it together......it is a simple process.

First - it is super cute. With a mix of community tables, counter seating, and even one very cozy looking chair (I say looking because it was occupied and I was unable to plunk myself down and enjoy my book - which it was beckoning me to do). They have an extensive coffee menu and use their own roasted beans. I went with a standard coffee but did upgrade to maple syrup for my sweetener. (Anyone who knows me knows this alone won me over!) And, if you eat in - your coffee comes in a beautiful real mug! They have decent bakery case which is stocked with pastries from Two Fat Cats and bagels from Rose Foods! That's right - you can get a Rose Food bagel without the hassle of parking on Forest Ave in Portland. I got the Mystery Spice (old bay seasoning) and enjoyed half with Olive Cream Cheese and the other with Herbed. Clearly they make the cream cheeses here in house and they are delicious. The place seems pretty popular as there were many people here on a Thursday morning. Already planning a trip back here with a friend for a little remote work day!
