We were seated right away since it wasn't busy, and things started off simple enough with bread and oil. We asked for parmesan to go with it, and our server seemed unsure how to respond, eventually bringing out packet parm even though fresh was clearly available. Not a huge deal, but we found it odd. A little later, we asked for more bread. The server told us they were out but, "that they could probably make more". . He relayed it to the woman handling bread, who then made more for another table and skipped us entirely. He mentioned it again to her when he saw us looking in their direction. she looked over, and still nothing. It was awkward, since the restaurant is the size of a closet. Once the pizza came, we got up ourselves to ask for more oil and parmesan, since our waiter hadn't come to check back. We got the oil instantly since we brought us the bowl, but no parmesan. At one point my son asked for bread, again, finally it came and the server literally tossed it on the table without a word. We said thank you and he completely ignored all of us. It didn't get any better from there. The bill was dropped on the table without a word either. My husband and I kept looking at each other with confused looks. We turned the bill in with our CC, and once the server returned it, same thing, not a single interaction. We also watched the same server make another table feel like an inconvenience over something as simple as asking for a bottle of Coke instead of a can. The customer ended up backing down just to avoid the hassle. The server then told the guest, "it's fine, I can get it for you!" On top of that, staff were wearing gloves while handling food, but also touching chairs, phones, and other surfaces; kind of defeats the purpose I think? My boys also had a weird interaction with a staff near the bathrooms who was very rude to them and accused them of cutting the line, despite no one waiting. It was very strange. Bottom line: the food is incredible, no question. But the service was so bad it's hard to ignore. Best advice, get it to go and skip the experience inside.

Though the pizza is definitely the main event, the salads and pasta are solid as well. We've had the Caesar salad which is pretty good, but recently tried the Piastra (chilled zucchini noodles in housemade pesto) which was a light and refreshing start to the meal. We also shared the hazelnut gnocchi which was unique, umami and creamy in flavor. For dessert, we shared the panna cotta which is served in a mason jar - great way to end the meal.

We made reservations and I'm glad we did as this is an extremely small space. We were seated at the bar where they have their kitchen. Generally we don't like sitting at the bar but it was nice to watch the crew make food. It's impressive what they can do with this small space. Very small menu- My husband and I are sober so we are always looking for spots with good NA/ mocktail options but it fell short here so we just got a bottle of sparkling water. We ordered the butter pecan salad which was amazing. Loved everything about it, I was hesitant that they only had butter lettuce but I think I appreciated the soft lettuce with the crunch of the apple and pecans in it. The dressing was phenomenal. For a pizza we got just the pepperoni, I saw a lot of margarita pizzas with pepperoni being made and I think we would've liked that option better with the fresh chunks of mozzarella. The cheese they use for the regular pizza is a very strong flavor, probably a nice aged parm so that really came through. We are sauce people so it was hard to appreciate the sauce with the strong profile of the cheese which is why I think we would've liked the margarita pizza better We had the panna cotta for desert and my husband LOVED it. They prep it in advance in cute little mason jars. Overall not a bad spot. Service was great, salad was phenomenal. The sirloin was fresh, tender, and full of flavor, and the combination of grilled onions, hot cherry peppers, sweet peppers, tomatoes, pickles, and white American cheese was perfectly balanced. Every bite was on point. The bread was soft with a light toast that gave it the perfect texture without overpowering the sandwich. I also had a Barrio Rojo beer on tap, which paired perfectly with the meal. The service was amazing--friendly, fast, and welcoming, especially for a first-time customer. The place itself had a lot of character and a great atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. This was my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last. We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

Questioned if we came at 2 pm we'd like to eat and get some food to go. Her recommendation of the Yukon potato pizza and the Caesar salad was magnificent. Yes it was sliced Yukon potatoes on this pizza. The cream sauce with the roasted garlic was magnificent. Summer nailed it. Since we were the only two people in Reilly at 2:30, the wonderful chef made us a large pizza to go, and the most delicious rigatoni with the best red sauce I've ever Tasted! Pasta dishes are only on the dinner menu, but he was gracious enough to make it for us so we could pack it in our cooler for Reno, dinner in 2 days! The pizza is to die for, everything was fresh. They take a lot of passion with how they prepare the food and serving their customers. I took a picture with the staff Because they were so accommodating and they just made my day Smile. She shared the lore of it being a former funeral home/crematorium which adds a layer of mystery. The main restaurant is visually and architecturally stunning. There is a more casual beer garden, and then hidden within (down in the basement) the tough luck club - which is a dark and edgy speakeasy style bar. Service was excellent. The staff was very personable, quick to welcome us and take our orders. The pizza looked amazing and I heard many notes of it being the best crust ever consumed. My GF/DF pizza did not hit the same notes. The crust was dense and gummy. The overall pizza was pretty bland. I ordered the marinara pizza with garlic and mushrooms. I ate 1.5/4 pieces out of hunger alone, but it wasn't even worth taking the rest home. Despite the sad GF pizza, I'd definitely come back and try something else if in town again.

The meatballs are crumbled within the calzone (understandable) but not pronounced in quantity. I would prefer larger pieces (halves work at this size - after all I ordered meat-ball not meet-ground ;) However, for $8 (a 75% upcharge) my chief gripe is that I was simply expecting more. Next time pepperoni/mushrooms! Ambiance is lovely and waitstaff were awesome -- gracious, knowledgeable about menu specifics, and attentive. Parking is free/easy at this corner of a small strip mall. Everything was amazing but my favorites had to be the meatballs and the pizza. Only downside was that they were out of lemonade, which I really wanted to try. We attempted to order a couple slices of the specialty pizza, only to be told that the specialty pizzas could only be ordered as a whole pie. So we ordered a 12 inch pizza half company combo and half carnivore. We also got an order of the sweet chili wings . The sweet chili wings were cool, not bad, but also nothing to brag about. The pizza I was actually disappointed in... it reminded me of pizza from the frozen aisle at the grocery store. It was thin and had a crunch at the bottom. I will say that I like my pizza dough, thicker, so that probably affected my opinion of their pizza as well. Glad I tried it, but don't think I will be back.
