Soft serve margaritas? Count me in! I love anything in soft serve form and this creamy and sweet margarita really hit the sweet spot between boozy beverage and dessert. Sisters is a cute name, too, considering their location next to a church-turned-theater and all the nun paraphernalia made this a unique spot overall to grab a bite with friends. We started with the prosciutto and melon. This was absolutely delightful! Although I could have gone without the chimmichurri. We also got the fries which were decent but I don't love that they were served in a brown bag as well as the Caesar salad. The real star was the meat lovers pizza. This was huge and packed with toppings! Easily made for a filling meal and then some leftovers too. Would definitely come back and catch a show next door too! Great vibes all around. read more

Sisters is BOMB. I don't say that lightly. I've been here many times now, and it's consistently incredible. The soft serve is out of this world. The pizza is amazing. And the lasagna is hands down the best I've ever eaten. The ambiance is also such a vibe. The interior is so Tucson and so cute, with this perfect mix that somehow feels like stepping into a Tucson-meets-Italian paradise. On one visit, we had the mezze plate to start. Everything was super fresh and packed with flavor. My girlfriend is vegan, and they were great about accommodating, adding vegan cheese alongside the goat cheese without hesitation. We also shared a big salad and the Veggie Supreme pizza with vegan cheese on half, and just like everything else here, it was next-level fresh and delicious. I'm picky about pizza crust and usually skip it, but not here. I ate every single bite. Every dish I've had at Sisters has been consistently out-of-this-world. 10/10. We ordered the family-style lasagna for four- six people, and it was absolutely delicious--the perfect portion size, rich, comforting, and honestly tasted homemade in the best way. It also came with a large, fresh salad that was perfect for sharing, which made the whole meal feel thoughtful and complete. Beyond the food, the venue itself is incredibly well designed--fun, inviting, and clearly well thought out. The beautiful outdoor space and bar make it such a great place to relax, hang out, and soak in the atmosphere before and after a show. We had an excellent concert experience, and the combination of great food, a chill vibe, and a fantastic setting made the night memorable. Sisters is a great addition to Tucson's restaurant scene, and I love the menu. Plenty of small bites, shareables and full entrees, and everything I've had has been delish. I love the pizza by the slice options, and the dressing on the dressed greens is light and fresh. My husband loved the meatballs and lasagna, both of which were amazing. The margarita soft serve was so fun, and I love the mocktails (the spritz is my fave.) I've also been to a few of the Hot Mess craft night events, which were so much fun, and this patio is amazing. Such an exciting new place on the Tucson scene! I found it through one of the Yelp reviews on my feed and immediately took my friends. They enjoyed their house margaritas while I tried their "Mandorla" cocktail. Refreshing yet refined. I also tried their "Second Thought" espresso martini made with their neighbor's Yellow Brick Coffee. Another success. We sat at the bar by the kitchen and couldn't help but smell whatever amazing dish they were cooking up back there. I decided to try their weekly special slice "Hot Honey + Spanish Chorizo". PHENOMENAL. This place was such a good find and I hope many more people find it and it stays a staple for years to come. This place is awesome. We originally went to get dinner before a friends show at La Rosa ( the best venue I've ever been to), and had meat lovers pizza, lasagna and meatball. We thought it was really good. Came back last week and the place was super busy, but they sat us quickly - and my girlfriend had the soft serve margarita. She LOVED it. I had a meatball sandwich and fries and beer. I will get that ice cream drink next time, the small taste I was allowed to have was delicious. Great service and great food. Such a cool spot connected to La Rosa! It has a similar concept to R Bar & The Rialto. I like that we can order food and drinks from here then walk over to La Rosa for a show. The vibe is cozy and low lit and I like that their menu price point is very affordable and that the quality is nice. I enjoyed a meaty pizza slice, I loved the bread. The Golden Hour drink was decent. I like that you can take your drinks in a plastic cup over to the venue. I'm excited about this spot and look forward to taking friends here and attending events at La Rosa in the same night! read more

I ate dinner here with four friends recently. The place was packed. Service was slow--so slow that they comped us the whole meal except for the beer. They said it was only their sixth day in business. I ordered a meatball hoagie sandwich ($16), which came with a side salad. It was pretty good aside from being lukewarm and taking an hour to arrive. Otherwise not too different from the meatball hoagies at eegee's or Mama's Famous. My friend who ordered a slice of veggie pizza wasn't too impressed with it. The service here is terrible, only open for a few hours a day and yet the staff has the hardest time with their little rushes. This is a brand-new restaurant, so I am sure they are still ironing out some kinks. I sat at the bar and ordered ice cream, so I can't speak to what it's like to order something cooked from the menu or to sit at the tables. However, the bartenders were very friendly and attentive, and were able to answer questions since the menu is new. The ice cream with olive oil and sea salt was delicious, and considering it's winter and cold outside that's saying something! I know it does get crowded during peak times, particularly before and after a show. So do keep that in mind when heading there. I'm definitely interested in trying more on the menu and will probably just make sure I'm not in a hurry the next time I visit. read more

Went to Sisters on a Monday night with friends. Friendly staff who clearly care about the customer experience and aren't just there to collect a check. We ordered a pizza, salad, mezza plate, and soft serve for dessert. The pizza had a flavorful crust and the veggies were very fresh. Honestly, that was my favorite part..really high quality ingredients and one of the best pizza sauces I've had in Tucson. Portions were big and very shareable. I went in so excited I've heard it's a newer place and they have the famous soft serve margaritas. The margarita was the only good thing about this place. Walking in the vibes were good it's super cool and lowkey inside but service sucked the server took forever to come over and barely checked on us at all during our stay and on top of that the food was mediocre. We got a pizza and a sandwich. The sandwich was nearly impossible to eat as it was on a brick of focaccia bread. The pizza was soggy and had little to no toppings that we wanted to add. I came here on a Saturday night at 6:15, with a reservation for two. We were seated promptly, at an awkward little table right at the edge of a large party. It was at last ten minutes before anyone came to talk to us or bring water. We ordered a Caesar salad, a slice of pepperoni pizza, and a grinder. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. A little after 7:00, someone brought out the salad. It had no dressing on it. Then we had to get the hostess to get our server to come and pick up the salad and (eventually) return with a dressed salad. We also told our server that we were worried about timing, because we had a movie to catch (at 7:30 at The Loft, so nearby). By 7:15, we still had received only the salad, and were getting close to needing to leave, with no clear sign of whether we could get the rest of our food, even to go. They managed to box the pizza slice and grinder for us right around 7:20, as we headed out. They comped the food, which was the right thing to do. They also assured us that they would email us a gift card so that we would go back and try it again, but it's been three days, and that has yet to materialize. I was looking forward to this place, but the service experience was poor, and the food we eventually got was nothing special. Maybe they'll get it together. But Fresco is around the corner, with better food at better prices, so just go to Fresco instead. read more

Cecilia was a wonderful server, she was personable and very attentive. We came before seeing a show at La Rosa. Funky vibe, loved the decor. The restaurant was slow initially and then exploded with people as our showtime got closer. We ordered the Focaccia bread as an appetizer. Bread was just average, not seasoned and bland. Also had a pepperoni pizza slice which was mediocre and salty. Shared a Caesar salad which was pretty good, but the croutons were almost too hard to eat. Located in an old Catholic Church, the ambience was pleasant, but not as unique as I expected- the venue next door certainly has more of THAT feel. Still, it was comfortable, and the service was friendly and as fast as to be expected for good Italian food. My partner got the caprese sandwich and expressed that it was the best she's had in Tucson. I had a couple of slices of pepperoni pizza- brick-oven style. The pizza was excellent- best crust of that style I've had in town and the pepperoni was absolutely excellent. The pizza had basil leaves and parmesan in addition to the usual toppings- both were more powerful than I usually find, so if that's not your thing, you might want to ask them to hold it. read more
