My wife suffers from chronic auto-immune issues and requires a bed that elevates the head and feet. We had visited multiple furniture and/or mattress stores--no complaints about any of them. However, the experience at Sit'n Sleep is clearly on another level, the tone of which is set by the sales person who works with you. Brian, the Manager, handled us personally and walked us through every one of our questions stemming from my wife's medical needs. He was patient (we took over an hour interrogating the products) and kind--never showing any evidence of masked annoyance (I can be a handful when spending money). Cut to the chase: we walked in there with an explicit intention of NOT pulling the trigger. However, it was clear that we were not going to find anything better--either in terms of product and sales people. And we pulled the trigger right then and there. Note that it matters, but we ended up getting a top flight product (the Tempur-Pedic (I think it was the LuxeBreeze) split King with the ProSmart (adjustable) Base (so that my wife and I can have our own mattress choices and separate adjustments). This things does everything except brew espresso. It has a feature that detects when snoring occurs, and automatically re-adjusts the users head and torso elevation to enable clear breathing--all without waking anyone up. No other product has this feature that we know of--something that in the case of my wife, may be more of a necessity rather than a bell & whistle. Quite the splurge for us, but Brian worked with us on financing at zero-interest, to fit our budget. Bottom line: had it not been for the personal professionalism that met us at the door and walked us through the entire process, we never would have pulled the trigger that night. My boyfriend and I came into Sit n Sleep without having done much research/ knowledge on what mattress we wanted. Loretta helped us so thoroughly, even though we came in 30 minutes before closing and weren't expecting to accomplish much. Loretta was a straight shooter and gave us a ton of great information. We did the bed match mattress testing to see what is best for our us individually and were able to decide on a bed that would suit both our needs. Long story short, we ended up putting a deposit down on a mattress that day, and came back a few days later to pay the remainder (both trips to the store were quick and enjoyable). Loretta was knowledgeable, helpful, and led us to make a decision on something that probably would have taken us weeks to figure out on our own. We are so happy with our purchase and feel great about the price. We were assisted by Mark for the two visits we had to the SR Sit'nSleep. The first day he gave us the standard presentation about bed finding and fit for our preferences. I appreciated that he didn't press us to buy once we had narrowed down our preferences. He was helpful in remembering and reminding us to weigh what our priorities were with a new bed. We felt like he was honestly just trying to recommend us the best bed for us given the constraints. We sat on the info for a night and came back the next day to debate between two beds and, again, he was helpful in keeping in mind the various aspects we were considering and what are traditionally considered, which allowed us to end up with a cost effective best fit bed. We'll see how the bed feels when new, but as far as understanding what we'd need in a good bed for us, couldn't be much happier than with the service Mark provided us. They get 2 stars for their wide selection of mattresses. They lost 3 starts due to their customer service. We walk in and the two people at the front desk have their backs turned (facing away from main entrance). They quickly turn say hi and then turn back to talk to themselves. After 10-15 minutes the assistant manager comes to show us around but he didn't want to work for a sale he just wanted a sale. There was a lack of information presented to us even when we asked questions and in the end I asked for price with tax included of a certain mattress and the assistant manager says you can just take a picture of the tag. If I'm about to spend money on something that I will be sleeping on every night for years to come, I as a shopper want to be informed, test, and compare so I know I am getting what is best for me. I went to another sit and sleep (on Topanga Canyon) they were much more hospitable and won the commission instead. read more

Peter did a fantastic job helping us to determine the right mattress for our needs, and he guided us through various options since we were interested in several upgrades. Now that our three upstairs bedrooms have had their flooring replaced, and our new bed has been delivered and assembled, it was time to search for a new mattress. This was my first Sit 'n Sleep experience. Stanley was right there to welcome us shortly after our entering. And he's very friendly, helpful and non-overbearing. We tried a number of mattresses he showed us, stressing that my wife needs something more on the soft side, while I can adjust a bit more from soft to medium-firm. So after trying the recommended mattresses, Stanley stepped back and let us stroll the rest of the store on our own, available should we have any further questions. This being their Black Friday sales week, and my first experience with Sit 'n Sleep/not my wife's; she came with her late grandmother when they were searching for a new bed for her. But my honest opinion? Sit 'n Sleep prices are steep! And unless we were still looking for something adjustable, we're not, we just didn't feel comfortable shelling out $1200-$2000+ for a queen sized mattress. And we're talking sales prices. I pretty much knew what I wanted and he helped me make sure I had everything I needed to have to best possible sleep experience. Typically I equate furniture store sales with used car sales. What a pleasant and shocking surprise I was in for when I visited Sit 'n Sleep in Santa Clarita this past week. My sales person, Rod, couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with. No high pressure, no bs, just great service from a knowledgable sales guy! Rod worked with me and gave me a great price on a full-sized bed. But... it doesn't stop there. I got home, did the math, thought it through and decided that I really needed a queen instead of a full. I called the store today and talked with Dennis! This person couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. After telling him my issue, he upgraded my bed and the platform from a full to a queen. I totally expected to pay about $100 more and was prepared to do so. But Dennis said it's important to get the right bed, and so when I asked how much it would be, he said they would upgrade it AT NO EXTRA COST to me! I can't tell you how impressed I am by the store and especially Dennis and Rod. These two gentlemen will not only get any future business from me, but I will tell everyone I know (including YOU reading this), just what an unexpected and great experience I had! One day I was testing the mattresses and deliberating between two in particular and she encouraged me to take my time while assuring me there was no rush at all. She wanted me to really choose the bed that was best for me. I spent over 40 minutes testing out the different beds with no complaints from the staff whatsoever. They encouraged me to do so. I have never in my life dealt with a "salesperson" with such a genuine and caring disposition as Causette. She is the real deal. A few months after purchasing my mattress, I eventually decided to do a return because it was a bit too soft for me, and I can tell you with full confidence that their return policy is truly hassle free.
