Can you hate funnel cakes?? Funnel cakes is a must if you're visiting amusement parks or carnivals and The Funnel Cake Corner at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom was where we made our final stop before departing the park. We were pretty worn out from a busy and HOT day at the park so we decided to reward ourselves and finish our long day with no other than a funnel cake sundae. Six Flags is pretty good with their funnel cakes -- I usually like it all done and supreme so we got the funnel cake sundae, which comes topped with powdered sugar, fruit syrup, ice cream and whipped cream. That already says enough -- must I say more? The crispy fried batter of the funnel cake and the pairing with refreshing sweet ice cream is oh so perfect and it really burns off any exhaustion for you. The serving is pretty big so you should definitely never intend on finishing this on your own -- instead, plan on sharing it with a few friends and you'll have the best time of your life! Service is also pretty quick but we went on a pretty less busy day so that may be why -- regardless, we had a great funnel cake!

This place literally hit the spot when it came to our funnel cake craving the last time we came to 6 flags. Love that the wait isn't that long compared to some other places (even on a crowded Saturday). ~$18 ish depending on what toppings you choose Their ice cream machine actually broke but then got fixed in time as we got to the front! Props to the staff for working super quick I feel like it's decently affordable and perfect to split between 2 people. And they have all the regular fixings, like chocolate drizzle, whip cream, powdered sugar, etc. I'm not a huge fan of the sweet strawberries but everything else was delicious.

Was craving a funnel cake for the longest time since most places were closed during the pandemic. This place already had them made and under the warmer as customers said which toppings they wanted. I got the strawberries with powdered sugar and whipped cream. The powdered sugar, in my opinion, was too much up to a point where the wind was blowing it all on my clothes when I was eating it outside. Overall though, it was delicious and satisfied my craving.

Only excited about the funnel cake. So sad it wasn't as delicious as I remembered it. Must be a kid thing now. They are the only ones who seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.

I have been here once before with a person who was not the greatest fan of sweets so much of the "sweet" stuff was taken off (which is why I did not do a review). I came here at 5:30 (ish), 30 minutes to the parks closure that day and the line was out of the door! The line took me approximately 20 minutes until I could order. There isn't much on the menu, as it is a FUNNEL CAKE place so they do only sell Funnel Cake. There is chocolate, strawberry, or powdered, all 13.99 (although the powered is 12.99 so...) They also have a Funnel Cake Sundae which comes with vanilla or chocolate ice cream for 14.99. We ordered the Strawberry Funnel Cake with chocolate drizzle on top which came out to be $18.40. Its sweet and the strawberries are drenched in syrup (if your into that). The funnel cake itself is a little underwhelming. Doughy and a little bland (which is why they have toppings). (A longer description for those who desire such): The inside of the shop is pretty small and it's fairly simple to order. Just wait your turn at the silver metallic counter. I had two servers so they did the typical: I can help you over here or what can I help you with? I had said, "uh, can I get a strawberry funnel cake with chocolate drizzle?" The person then confirmed that I knew it would cost extra ($2.99 extra to be exact) to which I replied, "yes." They then proceeded to prepare the funnel cake in front of your eyes. You can choose to talk with your friend(s), watch them make the Funnel Cake (what I did) or... I don't know, do about anything else legal. The workers are really chill about pretty much everything. After they finish, they will hand you your order and you will move to the left to the cashier. Left of the cashier is the utensils. They come in prepackaged with a fork, spoon, knife, and napkin. Right next was the napkin dispenser if you desire more napkins. I had two people working the cashier and it was a little panicky as one was working with a napkin dispenser and the other was working with someone's drink but was quickly finishing. I wasn't 100% sure if I was suppose to go to the further guy working with the drinks or not as he seemed to be finishing up quicker so I just stared intently at my Funnel Cake and the worker struggling with the napkins until it was my turn to pay. TIP: The exit is to the right of you when facing the cashier. It's BEST not to exit the way you came and the door WILL open (geez I hope it opens for you). You will exit on the side of the store and it's completely normal. Have fun!

They make them in batches of 5-6. I was the unfortunate person to get the last one of a batch. It was cold and rock hard. Never again.

This company is a jooooke. Couldn't even do the right thing when they were alllll wrong. My boyfriend's parents put us in charge of their 50th anniversary party and I knew instantly I wanted to get them a special cake. No costco, no Whole Foods but a real bakery from a real local business. We would have used cakes by Karl ( also in Vallejo) but they did not do marble cake which we knew we wanted in order to match their original wedding cake. Tony's had marble cake as an option and good Yelp reviews so I thought I had found the perfect match! We did the online order form as requested, and my boyfriend confirmed with a woman on the phone TWICE( once the wk our cake was due) that our order was correct and we were on the same page. We even paid in full before we ever got our cake. When we arrived to pick uour cake up yesterday it was beautiful but it was WRONG!! We asked for a marble cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. No other flavors, fillings, or stuffings just marble cake with chocolate frosting. We got a cake covered in white frosting!!! We told the lady we asked for chocolate frosting and she checked her order form to prove us wrong but quickly realized she was wrong and then went to work making chocolate frosting right there in front of us. We were there to pick up our cake for a agreed upon time of 10:30 and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes for her to scrape the white frosting off, make chocolate frosting, and then redecorate our cake with the fresh flowers we ordered. " Tony" could be seen in the back decorating right in front of the girl who was doing our cake and he never addressed us or her about the lack of professionalism. He was probably rightfully embarrassed but it was sad to not see a business owner own up to their mistakes and make things right. No one should show up to cake pick up with the complete wrong cake. To make matters worse... yes it get worse than watching your cake scraped and remade in front of you. When we actually cut the cake at our party...it was wrong too!!! We got the marble cake but with a layer of white frosting in the middle and STRAWBERRIES?!!!! The chocolate frosting we asked for was completely disregarded!!!l They effed this cake up. It was nasty. No one asked where it was from. No one took home the leftovers. This place I feel is in over their heads. I do NOT recommend.

With so many flavors to choose from, our cookie selections included the brown butter pecan (most popular according to the worker), oatmeal raisin pecan, walnut brownie, chocolate butter pecan, rocky road, mint cookies & cream, birthday cake, and my fave, the dark chocolate walnut. They also offered other unique flavors like banana toffee, carrot cake, and strawberry lemonade pound cake. Unfortunately, no peanut butter flavor available. The cookies were inconsistent in size and a little pricey, but the taste was pretty good, with a soft and chewy texture I really enjoyed. Staff was friendly and helpful as well, which made for a positive experience overall.

I've never had an issue until this visit, which is why I feel the need to share this experience. This was my first time purchasing a cake from here, and unfortunately it was extremely disappointing and concerning. When we cut into the cake at home, we noticed odd gray/green discoloration inside the cake, uneven texture, and areas that looked wet and broken down. It also had this awful smell and the appearance alone was enough to make us stop eating it immediately. This does not look like normal cake coloration or texture, and it raised serious food safety concerns. Cakes, especially those with moisture, fillings, or cream, should be closely monitored, and it seems like this one may have sat on display far too long. This is not just about taste or quality; someone could genuinely get sick from consuming something like this. What's disappointing is that I genuinely like this place and come here often, which makes this experience even more frustrating. I really hope management takes this seriously and re-evaluates how long cakes are kept on display before being discarded. Freshness and safety should never be compromised. I'm sharing this not to bash the business, but because I believe they can and should do better, especially since many families shop here regularly.

Just along the main strip of town, this place is busy. We stopped by early morning just a little after they were opened. Even mid week and there was a massive line already forming. They must be good. There's two entrance, first being the main where the front door is. Patio seating available along the sidewalk. And then the back entrance where the majority of the seating is outside. It's like a secret garden with all the trees and plants. Somewhat a treehouse feel as well. They have 2 levels with tables. Beautiful spot sitting there under the tree having a nice cup of joes and a beautiful pastries. Indoor also has some seating along the front and I believe there's a second floor right above the entrance. There's mainly one line for everything. You wait to place your order if you wanted pastries and food. I think you could just order drinks at counter if you're not getting food but don't quote me on that. Everyone was waiting together. Once you reach the top, there's the counter of fresh baked pastries that's made daily. Things do sell out pretty fast. We literally arrived not long after they open and the ham and cheese croissant was already sold out. Besides pastries, there's fresh baked bread. Coffee drinks were pretty good too. After you pick what you want, the cashier is at the end and that's where you pay. There's a counter at the back where drinks are picked up. The whole place has an open kitchen feel where you could actually see all the workers preparing the sweets. In the back kitchen, you could walk by and see the pastries chef preparing and putting together the fresh sweets. It's like you're part of the kitchen. It's a cute place and it does get busy. The locals know about this place so it a hot spot. The holiday makers know which their names is getting out there and making a big splash for them. We've been a few times while in town and each time, alway busy and great. Amazing pastries and good drink. It is on the pricer side but that's pretty much everywhere you go these days.
