There's a vibrant energy that makes you feel like you've been transported to wine country. We enjoyed mostly small plates and shared everything. Some of our favorites: - Truffled Vineyard Fries (you'll want your own plate) - Santa Maria Tri Tip (perfectly cooked) - Pan Roasted Mussels (yummy) - Harissa Shrimp (a definite winner) - Grilled Golden Beets (sooo good) - And two Margherita pizzas--one classic, one with pesto instead of red sauce (do it!) For mains, Mom had the Rainbow Trout, deconstructed with lentils, curry, and orange on the side, and she loved it. And dessert? Next level, omg. Great dinner! All the food was great, the decor was beautiful, but service was slow. We sat a 5:15 and didn't get drinks until 6pm. We all had wine from a huge selection. We had the vaiven wine ($38) carafe. Brussel sprouts were slightly burnt ($11) but had amazing flavor and filling. The pork chop ($21) was cooked perfectly. I would come back for that specific dish. The pork pasta ($18) was very al dente and savory as well. Would recommend this place for a nice dinner but expect slower service. Would advise to not come here in a rush. read more

Sixty vines is one of my go to recommendations for anyone in the downtown area. It's got everything you want when you're hosting out of town visitors from a great, central location in a beautiful plaza, plenty of space for any sized party including the outdoor patio, and plenty of food and drink options. The unique thing is obviously their wine on tap. Think of the Yard House with wine instead of beer. Don't worry, if you're not a wine drinker, they still have an excellent cocktail menu. My personal favorite is the froze. I can't believe I haven't written up a review yet but I can tell you I stick to a few staples which have never let me down- crispy zucchini, fig and prosciutto pizza, braised pork pappardelle, and the wood grilled bavette steak. Wow, what a gem! We ended up at Sixty Vines in Dallas after a hilarious (and slightly frustrating) mix-up where the "Tea Around Town" bus left us behind. It was a very last-minute scramble to find a great brunch spot, and Sixty Vines more than delivered! They managed to squeeze us in, and we are so glad they did. The ambiance is vibrant and beautiful--perfect for a weekend brunch. Our server was fantastic, attentive, and helpful with the menu and wine selections. For the main course, my friend and I both went with the amazing Truffled Ham & Cheese. It was a luxurious take on a classic, with the rich ham and cheese sandwiched between thick, perfectly grilled bread, topped with a gorgeous, sunny-side-up egg and served alongside those savory, crispy potatoes. It was a brunch masterpiece. But the real highlight that started the meal was the incredible Orange B--it was heavenly and the perfect sweet treat! We started with a refreshing cocktail each, and since they are "the winemaker's restaurant," we couldn't leave without sampling a few from their Sixty on Tap system. It was such a fun way to try different varietals without committing to a full bottle. This was my 1st time coming to Sixty Vines & I absolutely loved, loved LOVED everything about it. I loved that we sat in a "glass" room that resembled a cozy greenhouse. The sun was shining so it gave the room a perfect ambiance. We were celebrating my cousin's birthday & started out with mimosas. The hostess poured our champagne (purchased there) & then we took our pre-filled glasses to our Mimosa Bar which was stocked with fruits, juices & syrups. Anytime we ran low on anything, it was restocked quickly. Our appetizer was the Orange Morning Bread & it was delicious. You could even taste the orange zest. It was a perfect starter. Great place for date night or group gathering! I love that we were able to split our pasta entree. We ordered a bunch of tapas as well. The pesto burrata crostini, beets apps were delicious. I have been here a handful of times and my sentiments are mixed. I will say the ambiance and service is amazing. I love the luxury and minimalistic aesthetic. Service has always been great and attentive. I know a lot of people go here for the cute and formal brunch. Out of all the brunch places, this is definitely on the more expensive side for an under seasoned breakfast. The brunch menu is basic and a mimosa bar is roughly $30. You can get mimosas for $3 at other places nearby. Skip brunch and go to dinner. One night I had an amazing pork chop. Some of the best in Dallas. Perfectly cooked and not chewy at all. Cocktails are about $13-$15 so pretty standard. Another night, I got the BRAISED PORK PAPPARDELLE. It was good but still tasted a little bland. Their entrees in general are going to be more on the mild side. However, I have never had a bad appetizer. Their appetizers are really great! Went here with a group of about 12 people and had a great time. We had a slight wait upon entering but nothing that a quick stop of the bar couldn't hold us over for. Or waiter came over promptly to take any additional orders and provide the normal overview of the menu. I will now say that throughout the entire time or service was exceptional and they checked in frequently. I spilt some items with a friend. For our app we ordered the fried chicken and caviar. It was really flavorful however, I was not impressed overall with the taste profile unless the sauce and caviar were present with the chicken. For our mains we order the Hot Sausage Pizza which had great taste but I personally prefer a little more char on a brick oven pizza than it had on it. The dough needed that extra hint of flavor. We also ordered their burger which was really good. Two perfectly smashed patties and was tasty. We did a side order of the roasted broccolini and those were amazing. More like who. Our server was Lauryn W. What an actual gem of a human being. Holy moly... I joined my boyfriend a couple minutes after he was sat because of a phone call. She immediately complimented me and I noticed her curly hair too and that was so cute. We talked about how we're both in prestigious choirs and how she's working on being a Speech Language Pathologist to help people, after she disclosed a personal and touching story about her life. She's a true light. I feel so blessed to have met her and she deserves ALL of the recognition she can get and then some. A 5/5 experience that I cannot rave about enough. We came in for a birthday dinner and were blown away by the experience we had. Our waiter, Cody, was FABULOUS. He was so knowledgeable regarding the menu and what we should try. Everything on the menu is lovely. We had an assortment of bites from the tuna crudo, truffle fries, charcuterie board, as well as the shrimp with street corn. We literally could not stop eating! We got to experience 60 vines on our celebration tour of Dallas for our fifth anniversary. The ambience was spectacular. We entered through the courtyard and they had their pink umbrellas for their brunch set up still so it was the perfect photo op. We didn't make a reservation because it was last minute, but we did get seated really quickly. My partner enjoyed a sausage pizza while I enjoyed a house salad with salmon. Sixty Vines is one of my all time favorite restaurants and my go-to for an awesome brunch experience. They never let me down with the friendly staff, great vibes, and delicious food. I'm a creature of habit, so I always order the same things. Starting with the brussels is a must. Whatever glaze they use is so tasty, and the brussels are perfectly tender. My favorite entree is the shrimp and avocado salad. The mixture of the tangy dressing, crispy chickpeas, and of course the shrimp and avocado is perfection. Although when I'm in the mood, their pork chop is also so so good. And you have to save room for dessert because their deviled affogato is magic, literally my favorite dessert in all of DFW. Especially if you're going on the weekend, I recommend grabbing a reservation on Open Table in advance because they're always busy. You can park for free in the Crescent garage and have the host stand validate your ticket. Anyways, just go already! read more

Unfortunately they were so packed we had to sit outside the first day of February, but honestly with the weather being okay and then having multiple heaters, we ended up enjoying the outside area and extra space. The food was tasty and very affordable. They have 60 wines to choose from and they all start at a very affordable price. Our server was a bit of a smart mouth though....and some people like that but after the long day we had we didn't enjoy it. The pizza we ordered also came out about 25 minutes later than the rest of the food--maybe because it was busy.
