09.09.2025 I have had the pleasure of eating lunch here at this particular SIZZLER in Bakersfield for the past several year's. I live in Los Angeles, but have been employeed here in Bakersfield & Fresno for 15 years. Whether I've ordered the Malibu Chicken, Sirloin Steak or my personal favorite; the Sirloin Tips with mushrooms and rice pilaf; the meals have been most plentiful. The best priced meals are the Smaller Plate which includes your dish, side & side salad or soup. If you're an old fart like myself; the drink is included. You can enjoy a delicious meal for approx. $20 The highlight of my dining experience is my lovely waitress ( MIRNA ) who is most professional, attentitive, delightful, observant and is always welcoming as if you are extended family over the house for a family dinner. With good service and delicious food it's a winning combination. For the aforementioned reasons; I will continue bring my hungry stomach and business here to this particular SIZZLER location. My family went in came in on a weekday, and had 13 people including kids. We came in a big group, and had someone greet us with the best utmost customer service and had asked management if we can all sit together, (unfortunately we all couldn't, but we still had our tables next to each other). Management had come and talked to us and told us unfortunately why we couldn't all sit together and still made us felt very welcomed and could take any table that was next to us for the rest of the group. We all ordered our food and sat down and Mirna right away brought us our drinks. We had 2 tables, 1 of 8 and the 2nd table had 4 including the kids. She managed both of us.. whatever we needed such as sauces, refills, utensils, and napkins. Mirna is so friendly, and she managed the whole table on her own. She is the best waiter and is always quick to ask if we needed anything else! She was the only waiter on the floor and always made us feel like a priority! read more

Place is very clean and sanitary. Salad Bar is closed for COVID. Oscar our server was very courteous, prompt and attentive. The manager came and spoke to us to make sure our meal was progressing positively. Me and my companion ordered a combo that came with a six oz. Ribeye cut, baby back ribs, fried shrimp, baked potato, and cheese toast. This is one of the few meals I have ever had where every bite was delicious. The entire meal was less than 25 dollars and it was the best one I have had all year. There was little else I could ask for. They have different combos at that price level and wing promotion right now. However, they do have some expensive promotions, drinks, and options, and if you are not careful you could spend a bunch of money on nothing. Wow! Beyond Amazing Customer Service is being served at this Sizzler location! As entering the restaurant, the "A" rating on the window was confirmed with the flawless cleanliness of the facility! The warm "Welcome" greetings and genuine smiles from the front-counter staff members were inviting and comforting. All this followed by the mellow music and beautiful decor made for a fine dining experience! Marylou (Lulu) our friendly waitress never missed a beat on attending to my family and I! Loved the quick hot food service from the talented cooks, also the salad bar staff were on top of their game maintaining a beautiful fresh display of choices! Lorena (the Manager) was super awesome and so friendly too! As a matter of fact the short conversation I had with her, I see why all the staff members shined with the exceptional customer service they provided! Marisela was our server and she was fantastic. She was very friendly and showed great hospitality to us. She anticipated our every need and never hovered or was hard to find, she was the perfect example of what a great server should be. The food was ok but my husband's steak was ordered as medium but was served at well done. Marisela did ask if my husband would like to cut his steak open and make sure it was to his liking but he declined so it was no fault of hers that it wasn't done right. The establishment was clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful so overall we had a nice dinner. I will say having great service softens any other issues with food or quality control issues and management is very lucky to have such a wonderful and kind staff and should be very proud of them for being great examples of what customer care should be like especially in today's world, where people are typically not very hospitable. read more

I came with my wife and kids and had a wonderful experience. Oscar catered to us and he is the best waiter ever: super friendly and professional. PREGNANCY CRAVING SATISFIED!! I have been dying for a good salad lately as well as steak and unlimited shrimp!! (Basically sizzler craving) The salad bar provides so many options for a girl who loves toppings on her salad. My husband and I ordered two steaks , with baked potatoes , mushroom and garlic butter steak toppings , a side salad and unlimited shrimp. Everything came out delicious and our steaks were cooked to our liking with tons of flavor! Candice tended us for tonight's meal and she was so sweet and provided us with everything that we needed right away! So when our food came out , we did not need to ask for anything! I decided to visit Sizzler with my son for lunch today and it was a trip down memory lane for me. I hadn't been to a buffet in ages, but my son's enthusiasm led us there. The customer service was exceptional right from the moment we walked in. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The salad bar had some tasty options, but I must say I wasn't too impressed because of the the lack of options. However, the cheesy bread and fries that came with the buffet stole the show - absolutely delicious! Our waiter, Oscar, was outstanding. His energy was infectious, and he made sure our drinks were always filled and plates clean for our next buffet round. Overall, we had a lovely lunch experience at Sizzler and can't wait to return. I'm in town for the State Wrestling Championships and after today's event, I Googled "salad bar near me". Was shocked when the results came back with a Sizzler. I thought they had all gone out of business years ago! I decided to check it out and see if it was worth staying for. Prior experiences have been less than satisfactory at times as the restaurants have often been unsanitary and always very dark. This was the most beautiful Sizzler I've ever been at. So clean, well run, and very bright. My server, Lulu was exceptional and in addition to being attentive and prompt, she was also very sweet and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant and be sure to ask for Lulu if you want an especially wonderful dining experience. Me and my fiance had a wonderful time tonight, the whole crew had such an event prepared I'm glad we didn't leave early the desert the camaraderie of the restaurant the happiness that they spread it was more of a family get-together than it was in Eatery!!! I recently ate at Sizzler and had a really good experience overall. The food was fresh, hot, and exactly what I was craving. The salad bar was well-stocked and clean, with plenty of options to choose from. Everything tasted fresh and was constantly being refilled. The service was another highlight. Our server, Anita Flores was friendly, attentive, and checked in on us without being overbearing. Food came out in a timely manner, and the staff was helpful and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Sizzler may be a classic, but it still delivers on quality, comfort, and value. Just wanted to say I had a wonderful experience at lunch today. I only had 1hour to eat lunch and I expressed that to the cashier and a girl next to her helping the cashier make drinks heard and she told me "don't worry I will tell my cooks to put a rush on it u will be back to work in no time" so as I got sat the same girl was also my server her name was Lorena. She really made my day she is so personable and her personality is over the top. She delivered my steak as promised in 10 minutes and it was juicy and tender just perfect. I had late lunch early dinner here today. The whole experience was great. I was greeted aTT the cash register quickly and politely. The employee took my order and asked all the right questions. I was then seated quickly and as we were entering the dining room I was asked if I had a seating preference. Once that was determined I was seated at a clean table. The waitress then quickly came to the table to introduce herself. She was very attentive and helpful from start to finish. Kudos to Michelle V. We visited this restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday. She loves Sizzler!!! We had an absolutely fantastic time. The food was delicious and our waitress, Mirna was very attentive to each one of us. Mirna made sure our celebration was special. I waited myself and I was beyond impressed with how she handled our table professionally and genuinely cared to serve us. I will highly recommend any of my friends to go to sizzler and request to have her be their waitress. I am extremely thrilled my sister's birthday was as special to her as I wanted it to be. I recently dined at Sizzler, and I must say the experience was top-notch! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food was fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste--from perfectly cooked steaks to their famous salad bar. What truly elevated the experience was our server, Marsiela. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making the meal even more enjoyable. We went late on a Saturday night. Not expecting much. Thought that since it was so late that the salad bar wouldn't be fresh and there wouldn't be much to choose from. Quite the opposite! The service was great starting from the front cashier to our waitress Michelle.Michelle and the whole staff were very attentive the whole time we were there. Continually refilling our drinks bringing us more shrimp and extra plates for the salad bar. And the salad bar was very well stocked with fresh items and the staff continued to bring more things out the whole evening. This is my first visit to this location on real rd. The restaurant looks very clean and you can tell the staff and management are operating at an efficient level. The manager Lorena greeted us and took our order. She seemed very polite and very knowledgeable. Her service was very professional and Made me fell very comfortable. I felt very at ease eating at this establishment. Our server Mirna was very polite and very attentive to our needs. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. We visited this Sizzler last week and had a great experience. The restaurant was clean and well run. I was impressed by the attention to keeping the salad bar well stocked and tidy. We had a small plate, the sirloin steak and had the side salad. The side salad you receives is a one- time thru salad bar, in a decent sized bowl and I filled it with an ample salad with all the ingredients I like. We split the small plate and that too was plenty of food for both us seniors. The steak was well-seasoned and tender. Our server, LuLu was attentive and very pleasant. I eat there once or twice a week. I order the salad bar and I'm never disappointed. Its always fresh and well stocked. The area I sit in is usually attended by Mirna. She has observed my habits and is accommodating to them. I read during lunch and adjust the blinds to put more light on the table. If she notices me in line the blinds have already been adjusted when I'm seated. Because I'm reading she dose not bother me but keeps an eye on me. She watches her area very closely and its never hard to get her attention. All the employees have a good attitude towards the customers. So keep up the good work Real Road read more
