Went to sizzler for my sons birthday... Spent 100. $ Steak had no flavor lobster taste like it had been microwaved . My other son had pulled pork sandwich took 2 bites could finish it. Waitress came by 2 times refilled drink never checked back to see if food was good. Another waiter helped us for a bit. Talk to the manager and just offered another sandwich after everyone else had finished. Stopped going there for yrs figured we'd try again.... Will NEVER go back. 1/4 star... at least it was clean. Service is fantastic was great. We had a burger, couple of steaks,and shrimp along with salad bar. Every thing that we had was fresh and very tasty. The food that we orders came out fast and it was cooked to order perfectly. The best part of our visit I have to say was our server by the name of Christina. She was very sweet and polite. Service was as it should be, I ordered steak and lobster with the upgrade to a 10oz steak from a 8oz. Total cost of my meal alone was 28.00. When the meal was served I was shocked at the size of the steak. Before I could stop myself I said out loud, good thing I ordered a 10oz. I ordered medium rare, came medium. The lobster was tiny 3 bites no more. It looked like it had been thrown against the wall before cooked. Taste wise very average. I've reminded myself why I only go there maybe once a year. The place is always so clean and the staff is always so lovely and want you to have a amazing experience here especially Sabrina she has treated us with respect and always makes our experience better. Terrible experience! My husband, mother and sister-in-law paid $90 total for our meal. We were overcharged for an extra salad bar and the manger came to our table to argue it was not his mistake (he took our original order). When he came to our table, he saw a fork in my hand, I was taking a bite of my husband's salad to taste only because he thought the ranch tasted sour. The manager berated me and said we could not share the salad bar. I told him we were not sharing, I only took one bite of the salad. I was embarrassed because other customers heard his accusal. We are both professionals, we live very well, and we're certainly not hard up to cheat the restaurant for an $8.00 salad bar. He ultimately refunded the money which I gave to the waitress. Our punishment though was a 50 minute wait, burnt steaks, and hard Malibu chicken. Never going there again! $90 down the drain. read more

I have been going there for years. HOWEVER, I went there on Valentines Day with a friend and our tab was $45+. That's cool but any good Resturant gives you the option of soup or salad .NOT even a small dinner salad. So my review is for this particular Sizzler branch--it doesn't apply to all the other's because the one close to home doesn't even deserve 1 star. Anyways, this is a great location to stop at after you've done your shopping at Cabazon and don't feel like eating at the outlet food court or the McDonalds with a drive-thru line that takes FOREVER! The cashier was kind enough to tell us that they were still serving the lunch specials and mind you it was already 2:30. This is what we ordered: -Steak with AYCE shrimp -7 oz steak with baked potato -Malibu Chicken We also opted for the salad and soup bar/hot foods bar and drink which was only $2 extra. Our meals were in the $8-$14 range with the steak and AYCE shrimp being the most expensive. The salad fixins' were all really fresh--everything you could want on your salad and about 8-10 different dressings. They also had prepared salads--pasta salads, seafood salad, potato salad etc that were all delicious. The clam chowder was tasty--and guess what they also serve menudo as one of their soup choices. If I wasn't so stuffed I would've tried it. On their hot foods bar, they had onion rings and mexican food (tacos, shells to make taco salads, beans, rice etc,). Try their chicken wings--they are delectable. I even stole a few for my friends little nephew and the waitress didn't even care. Also included in this meal is the sundae bar where they have soft serve ice cream, with toppings and they have bread pudding and apple cobbler which is the great ending to a delicious meal. Overall this Sizzler really impressed me. It was actually all a joke in the beginning and we ended up eating here because we saw one of the billboards on the way to Cabazon. The service was beyond top notch. Our waitress really went above and beyond to make sure her all customers were happy. She knew all the her regular customers by name. Get this she even had everyone at our table cut into their steak to make sure it was cooked just right--talk about excellent customer service! I'm all about people in the service industry loving their jobs and this lady sure did. My meal came out to about $13 bucks--I had the malibu chicken with the AYCE salad bar and a drink--what a deal!! When you're in the area please pay this location a visit so it doesn't close down, because it really is in the middle of nowhere! read more

everyone is saying that the service is great, but right off the bat i got such horrible service. the cashier was so rude, so cold, and just so unfriendly. i've worked as a cashier in restaurants and retail stores and that is absolutely the way you should not act. she just kept rushing us, cutting us off, and just gave a pretentious attitude as if she was better than us. she rolled her eyes at me when i changed my drink order. and telling her my order took less than two minutes since i had already known what i wanted so i dont know why she gave us such blatant attitude. i kept wondering if she was RACIST, because that is the only explanation for such rude behavior. it honestly ruined my dinner. on the other hand the servers were much kinder. we were served by a lady named mimi and she was very friendly and always asked if we needed anything, but i could not get over the way that girl treated me and my mom and it was a damper on the dinner. the shrimp was not good either and was battered too hard and hurt my mouth. ultimately, i will NEVER go there again. no place should ever make you feel the way i felt because of that girl. on top of that, it was my birthday... and it was pretty much the downside of my day... in the end, just spend ten dollars more and go to outback steak house. I am not a big fan of Sizzlers but my Daughter wanted to stop by and have dinner on our way home. The service we received from our waitress Lily was amazing she was very tentative to our needs always asking if we needed anything bringing whatever we needed and the food was amazing cook just right. This Sizzlers in Banning has made a fan out of me we will be back even if we have to drive 45 minutes to have dinner here. Great service , employees and food. I am ONLY giving this place a two start because they had good service. But the food was absolutely awful. I had two other people with me who were both as disappointed as myself. One of my friends ordered the sirloin and my friend and I ordered the Malibu Chicken with Swiss and ham melted on top. It was all awful. The steak was one that I could cook at home with close to no experience. The chicken was fake!!!! Not even real chicken!!!!! What? We all had mash potatoes and they were absolutely foul and had almost no taste. The gravy didn't help much. The salad bar from what I hear is alright but I wouldn't be too sure. Oh and the sizzler steak sauce is nasty! Better off not using it at all. Highly disappointed. Far too pricy for what it is. I think the amount of choices and the quality of food is OK for the price you pay but definitely the items on the warm side of the salad bar are not top notch items. Last night we went out to celebrate my father's birthday. I got a bit of pasta with my salad and poured some meatballs over the pasta. As I'm having a conversation with my parents, I bite in to a fork full of pasta with meatballs I get a sharp pain into my gums and bottom of my tongue. The pasta had long pieces that were 100% raw and as I put it in my mouth the hard pasta broke inside as I closed my mouth to chew on it. My gums were bleeding for a bit but it stopped after a few minutes. I saw the manager cleaning a nearby table and mentioned they should be more careful with the food preparation because I hurt myself due to the raw pieces of pasta. He gave me a blank stare, picked up the plate, said OK & took it from my table. He didn't ask if I was hurt, or if I needed assistance, or if there was anything he could do to help. He never came back to my table to offer an apology or assist me in any way. It is preposterous that a paying customer would be hurt by their food and all I get, is a dumb blank stare instead of concern or an apology. I spend over $50 last night to get hurt and not a single apology or ounce of concern was shown by management. I will not be coming back to spend a dime and risk being injured in a worse way. The worst part was certainly the fact that they don't care at all about their customer safety even when it is addressed directly to them. read more

The Redlands Sizzler was so much better, the Malibu Chicken at the Banning location was over cooked, the fries were warm, and the waiters were not as fast nor friendly at the Banning location. There was an older gentleman sitting at the table next to me, he must have the God Father of Banning, every single employee including the managers all came over and sat at his table and shot the breeze, while my coke glass sat empty. read more

My family had a little reunion with my mother, we were a table a 6 after ordering our food and sitting I was surprised at the great selection of food that was served for Sunday brunch. I was shocked I had never been to Sunday brunch didn't know they even had breakfast. I order the same meal every time I go to Sizzler, this time there was an acceptation I included the salad bar to my classic trio plate. The difference in this time was my steak was the best even tender seasoned and moist. On top of the great food We had exceptional service, DJ was our server and he was so friendly and helpful never had to wait longer then 7 minutes for another order of shrimp to go with my husbands all you can eat shrimp also constantly checked up on us. A big thank you to DJ. On top of it all Jimmy Z. the on duly floor manager with Kathy were great helps, Jimmy Z. had such a good clean sense of humor he made me and my family feel so relaxed and welcome we give them the best rating possible. This was first return to a sizzler in 25 plus years. Wow have things changed. Granted prices have certainly changed, but it's nice that I've aged. Qualified for the senior specials ($10.99 includes salad bar & drink). This place was filled to the gills. Do your order in the same way. Order taker/cashier was prompt, friendly. They escort you to your assigned table w/ plates and drinks in hand. Salad bar, was incredible, just about every veggie you could want and then some. In addition they have the taco and pasta bar. My biggest complaint was the entree arrived no sooner, than returning from the salad bar. Was tempted to send the order back..but kept it. 6 oz steak cooked to order (med rare), baked potato hot n buttery. Server was a little slow, thru no fault of her own. This place was jammin every table was occupied.Turnover was very quick. Restaurant was clean, salad bar was getting contstant attention, refilling, wiping and cleaning. Bussing of tables was quick. I would return to this Sizzler anytime..well maybe not, would probably avoid Mothers/Fathers Day, and all other major holidays....Enjoy read more

Mostly edible kinda terrible. Been there a few times. This is my last. Discontinued chicken in salad bar, only chicken is heavily breaded bones. Dessert bar discontinued gummy bears and uses a very cheap tasting ice cream mix. Too much mayo on some salad bar items. Servers are nice and soups are salty but edible. The best sizzlers I have ever been to hands down. Where do I start. First it looked so shiny and new. Freshly remodeled with lcd tvs all over. Service excellent ordered and cashier took our tray to the table. Make sure get signature meal deal if your into salad bar since bar is $11.99 alone. Signature menu offers Malibu chicken $1 more with baked potato or 6 oz steak and baked potato $2 extra with full salad bar how do you say no? Funny thing you know how when you order a steak you almost always want to order 1 level of cooking under your desired color like you want medium but 95% time at sizzlers the typical chef cooks the heck out of it and even if order medium usually arrives well dine. NOT this chef I ordered medium rare and whoolah it was medium rare. When Vanessa brought it out she asked me to cut into steak and approve the steak which I did surprised to see it pink inside exactly as I ordered it even though I prefer medium. Guess next trip I'll order medium cuz this chef is dead on target. LOL. Salad bar everything was fresh, several salads like Greek salad, broccoli salad several choices of greens to start salad not just iceberg. It is obvious they really care about the food they serve, you can tell they make it fresh. Example the blue cheese dressing was thick chunky looked like cottage cheese it was best I've ever had in any restaurant reminded me of ordering rocqfuert dressing. Add blue cheese crumbles on top. Yummolicious. Soups were really thick and rich my fave was the vegetable beef especially since the beef was chucks of steak! The hot bar with hand dipped onion rings, fresh breaded wings carnitas, ground meat not all oily and mushy, speghetti meatballs, fresh mini corn tortillas and fresh fried crunchy taco shells. I added cheese sauce and fresh bacon bits onto my baked potato omg yummy. No kidding from what planet did this sizzlers fall from? If other sizzlers wanted to know how to do it right go and learn from this one. The service was incredible our server kept checking on us bringing plates bowls filling beverages all with a sweet response of "my pleasure". Nothing urkes me more than typical response from servers these days mostly younger generation after they serve you, I always say thank you to hear back "no problem", which drives me nuts thinking it shouldn't be a problem this is your job! There was so many servers and assistance they are on their game. I asked the manager about what we saw about car being broken into on yelp and he said yes one weekday night a few months ago it did happen. They have since added cameras and more lights in parking lot. But please don't let the chance of 1 idiot breaking into cars 1 time months ago discourage you from having the nicest friendliness service and most wonderful food around. We were told that at night people parked in bank parking lot across street to keep eyes on their cars to feel more secure. We parked in lot 99% full from other patrons who were already enjoying their meals ahead of us. Place was huge with tables booths and yet the place was packed. Food was consistently being brought out for salad bar and hot bar. The carnitas might as well have been cooked by a premier mexican chef it was not greasy very very tender tasty pork. We enjoyed this meal especially the yummy desserts like blue berry cobbler, peach cheesecake and of course ice cream with fresh jumbo strawberries to boot. We came from Lake Havasu which we are there almost every weekend and will make this sizzlers the go to spot on the way to az or back every time we can and upon our return we will for sure ask for Vanessa our fantastic friendly server. My server Vernise B. Is the greatest waitress... She need a promotion... I would quit my job after 12 years and work with her any day of the year. She is very friendly, courteous and a blessing. If they ever lose this beautiful young lady this place would go downhill . Had bad service before but never with her she could teach them a thing or two.
