This was our first visit, we've been regulars at Sizzler on Sherman Way. Salad bar is good. This location is smaller than other Sizzlers, but the drink fountain, salad plates available and the salad bar station made up for it. It was nice not asking the server to bring clean plates or for drink refills. We spent $45 this included Kabobs, rice, baked potato, drinks and all you care to eat salad bar.The restaurant was busy as soonest it was opened at 11:00 a.m. For sure, we'll return very soon. My wife and I decided to explore this new location in our home town of chatsworth, and were pleasantly surprised with exceptional food, service, and management!!!! We were greeted with a very knowledgeable and friendly hostess who educated us on the conventional and seniors (us) menu selections. My wife ordered the jumbo shrimp and mashed potatoes, with salad bar (which is a Souplantation-style salad bar with all the delicious options you desire). I ordered the Lime Cilantro Sea Bass Barramundi with mushrooms and salad bar. Our server was Valeria; a cheerful sweet and warm server who took excellent care of ALL our needs with a smile and great helpful attitude. Douglas, the manager, asked how our food and service was and I sang the praises of the menu selection items, food and service by Valeria. My wife and I enjoy many modest and fine dining restaurants, and this Sizzler stands with the best of both modest and fine dining!!!!! WE LOVED IT! Ever since the Sunland location closed we have been waiting for Chatsworth to open. We went last Friday nite and thought is was excellent. My wife & I came to this "new" Sizzler location and were pleasantly surprised. We each had the steak and lobster, ordered rare. When the dinners were brought to the table, we were asked to cut into the steak to make sure they were cooked to our liking. The steaks were cooked perfectly rare and tasty. Lobster was great. Wife's rice pilaf and my loaded baked potato were delicious. Also love the Sizzler toast that accompanied the meal. The kitchen puts out great food and the staff is helpful and makes you feel welcome. The salad bar was exceptionally tidy and that is no easy feat. Not able to rate the food because we left the restaurant while ordering our meal for horrible service. Ordered 3 steak meals. Ordered 2 salad bars to add onto the meals. When my dad wanted to order another salad bar they refused to add it onto the 3rd meal because he was sharing one steak meal with my mom. They insisted that he be charged $13 for the salad bar full price. When I asked if they had a senior citizen discount for the salad the girl at the register rudely cut me off and said, "NO!" I cancelled our meals and went to a restaurant that actually cares about their customers. Sizzler you left a bad taste in my mouth. Your staff taking orders needs a lesson on how to treat people. My family and I went in yesterday to this location excited to try it sence it's a new place. Left there really disappointed at how HOT it was in there! No AC working! It felt so hot that someone can seriously pass out. My husband was sweating all through our meal. Our server was great, excellent service she apologized and also our food was delicious. We got steak and lobster that is the only reason why I'm giving a 4 star. We won't be back unless they fix the AC, because I'm sure you lost a lot of customers that day. read more

This Chatsworth location is totally unprofessional. The menu is confusing and expensive. The food doesn't meet your expectations at all. They have like 3 different prices for regular tossed salads with the same toppings. The cashiers joke and talk loudly and the waitresses seem untrained. I don't understand how underage ladies would serve alcohol that they say they will have the license for. Please guys trust me if you want to have a pleasant dinner in a real sizzler location, choose Sizzler "Los feliz" by far, the true essence of the real sizzler that we remember as kids. read more

Waited 30 min after or friends who checked in at the same time only to be told that they had run out of the special. Could have sympathy but we waited another 30 min to be served the worst fatty tuff steak Waitress never came back for re orders of all you can eat items. When I nicely notified the manager of the bad product he brushed me off as just unusual. No offer was made to correct, replace or compensate. I suggest the "Outback steakhouse" a few blocks away. Just tried it tonight - we ordered the steak and lobster combo - you will be nickel dimed for add ons and upgrades (salad not included with dinner) server asked if we wanted seconds on cheese bead ... he never brought it out - we ordered the same meal but the steaks were two different sizes - like 8 oz and 12 oz - I told them no chives on the potatoes and it came with chives. I only wished I brought my skill saw with diamond blades to cut the steak with. I had not eaten at sizzler for 10 years - I remember now why I quit going. read more

Well like everyone else I think we waited for over a year for this sizzler to open and I must say it was not really worth the wait. It seems to me like sizzler opened this chatsworth location with a new approach, it's not like the other sizzler around LA. My problem was the person I was with had the same complaint about the steak as everyone else....it was overcooked. I ordered the salad bar and was not very impressed with the hot foods, wing were hard and overcooked. The one thing that was a pleasant suprise was they had albondigus soup which was actually very good, but I doubt I got my $12 worth out of soup.. it seems like this location is trying to be "fancier" than sizzler needs to be, if it ain't broke don't fix it I'd rather drive to the van nuys sizzler. The staff was nice and accommodating but that's what u get when everyone there is happy to have a new job and plus the owners were walking around so it was a fake ass kissing fest, but they did try really hard to please everyone. We had dinner three days after the restaurant opened as a new business. I haven't been to a Sizzler in 15 years. The food needs some help-the steak and lobster dinner $21-99 my husband had was not good. The steak was tough (he ordered it rare) and the lobster was no larger than a postal stamp! It was supposed to be 5 oz. but looked to be 2 ounces! I had the salad bar and the chicken with vegetables. The vegetables were over-cooked. The salad bar is ok and the yogurt station good. First I was greeted by such an lady with a huge smile I believe her name is Mara she took took care of my party since we were a group of 20 elderly ladies she was so patient with us since we take our time putting in our order. Was so excited to hear a Sizzler was coming to Chatsworth. I 1st came in right after opening and was extremely disappointed to see how small the selection. I Love the Sizzler in Canyon Country off Golden Valley huge dessert bar, 3x's the selection of cold salads, everything always fresh, NOT IN CHATSWORTH, server came to ask if we wanted bread answered both rolls and garlic bread obviously she didn't understand finally after 3rd time asking finally as we were getting ready to leave the waitress decided to bring rolls. Ridiculous This evening decided to give a 2nf chance as quite a drive to Canyon Country from Chatsworth in traffic. Walked in took 8 minutes for someone to come to the register a d she. She did she continued to text/Facebook on her personal phone, finally she looked up to get our order took our money and asked if we wanted bread, I advised we would like both rolls and garlic toast. A basket was brought to the table and noticed no rolls, so before she walked away I said we asked for both with a shitty attitude she replied I know they are coming. So I finished getting my salad and proceeded to go to the tossing station and asked for avacado to be added the employee tossed my salad and ha sed it back to me, no avacado , so I say did you add avacado she replies oh yeah then grabbed my plate back and finally added avacado. Then went to look for little chicken. Wings and none kindly asked the only employee in sight working hard and she immediately went and got some, I didn't get her name unfortunately. I did see the manager guy behind the door through a window standing there shoving something in his mouth then proceeds to come out and start touching things at the salad bar. This place is completely run by idiot's, oh and 15 minutes after asking for rolls for the second time a woman believe waitress came to tell me they had a problem today with their rolls love those rolls. Then I see the girl working the register sit down and start yapping with a friend and watched the manager get them coffee before the young lady walked out with her purse. I will absolutely NEVER RETURN TO CHATSWORTH SIZZLER. SERVICE SUCKS FROM ENTRY TO EXIT, to be fair the waitress did come back to offer me 2 free salad bars for the next visit. Rest assured I will never step foot in the pathetically run dump again as I say this the manager again is sitting on his butt drinking coffee at table on his phone. SAD. I have always been a fan of Sizzler. I always enjoy their steaks, but this Sizzler was noticeably above average. The premises seem new and was spotless. The manager Doug and our waitress Marsha were friendly and chatted with us for a while. My steak was just the way I like it. It might be just me, but I like how Sizzler cooks a steak. It is always juicy and I like the seasoning they put on it. My wife and daughter were also impressed with this Sizzler and thought this was one of the nicer ones we have been to. read more

As you are being seated, need to get around people at salad bar and drink station. The place is not designed properly or big enough to accommodate the crowd. Food at other Sizzlers much better. On the 5th day of a heat wave, there's no way I was cooking. So my husband and I haven't had sizzler in years so we decided on trying the one near his work. I've seen the.m negative reviews but went anyways. I should've known there was a red flag already when the two parties ahead of us walked out. But we stayed anyways. The prices have changed and no meals have the salad bar attached anymore which is kind of a bummer. Between the two of us the total was $52 not including my toddler who wasn't eating anything but cereal, if that. Now strike one for me officially was the fact that the ac was little to none in this place and like I said, it's over a hundred degrees this whole week. And you know it's hot when your ONE waitress is sweating up a storm. I had to ask for hot water twice before it came. My son sat by the window, which was filthy and had several dead bugs and one very lively fly. It took a while for our food to come out and yes, I regularly saw them refilling the salad bar but not the hot foods. It took a while for those to be refilled which sucked because the lively fly had made its way there several times. On the plus side the drink station is accessible to you at all times. I like they had vanilla and strawberry soft serve instead of the usual vanilla and chocolate. He iced coffee option is also nice. I won't be venturing out to this location again though read more

Real bad experience tonight. First time in a brand new restaurant, which was almost empty, and the "endless" shrimp was limited to the first portion that came with the steak and nothing else. As soon as the waiter served the plates she asked: "Should I put an order for more shrimp right now?" to which I replied: "Sure." Five, ten, fifteen minutes went by, nothing. When she finally comes back, after we are done with our meal, I ask her about the shrimp, and she states she'll order it. I said: don't bother. This is utterly unacceptable. Even if the restaurant was busy, which it was not, this should never happen. On my way out I complain to the manager, who promptly offered to give me credit for a next visit. I told him either I want my money back or don't bother because I don't plan on coming back ever again. He apologized and I left without a refund. $40 absolutely not worth it. read more

My husband and I went to Sizzler today because we were looking for another local place to have a vegan meal and we remembered this Chatsworth location opened not too long ago. We ordered the salad bar and went to find a booth to sit at. Upon looking around the restaurant I noticed how clean it was. The tables and floors were immaculate. The food was great and the manager Douglas was very on top of his employees, the customers and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Constantly keeping the food bar clean and organized. Also keeping temperature control of all the food that was sitting out. It's nice going to a food establishment where I'm not staring at dirty windows, food on the floor, tables that haven't been cleaned and food in the cushions! Had a good experience with the family and celebrated my moms day of birth. The food was good and the salad bar was delicious as well. Had the chicken, lobster with steak, and fruit drinks that were good as well. Our server, Maria was super friendly and fast with our food. At the end, the staff sang happy birthday and brought my mom an ice cream dessert (little brother ate it- said it was good). And my mom loved the soups.
