OMG - this is the BEST Sizzler I've ever been in! The salad bar is always clean, well stocked and fresh. Doesn't matter what time I have gone in - its always remarkably great! Their soups ROCK and the carnitas is to die for GOOD!! Better than some local Mexican restaurants! Much more than I expect from a chain restaurant...and the manager even walks around checking on things! Its an affordable, clean, friendly place to have lunch or dinner. read more

This place is good for a large chain Sizzler. It's new and renovated = clean and modern. I went here a few years back and it was terrible - but it's under new ownership and it much better now. The salad bar is okay - kind of a lot for $12. A lot of the food in the salad bar is salty (except the salad itself). read more

A+ salad bar. Every time.

I started working in Hesperia a couple months ago and Sizzler has become one of our favorites. Down the hill the sizzles are ghetto, old, dark and ew but this one is awesome! I usually go for the salad bar. They have a wide variety of salad stuff along with a taco bar, Mac and cheese, onion rings, wedges and the best chicken wings ever! Oh and almost forgot about the sweet rolls, I could just eat those on their own. The few times I didn't get the salad bar I got the steak and lobster. It was a special, I believe it was $16.99 or something ridiculously cheap. Hesperia is pretty far from the ocean but for that price, the food was awesome. The service is great too! The manager walks around everyday to personally ask how every table is doing. The restaurant itself is brand new with huge TVs everywhere and it's super clean. read more

On our way home from the river, traveling down the 15 freeway, I was craving steak. Yelp reviews for the steak houses in the high desert weren't doing anything for me until I came to the review for...Sizzler! Shocked and amazed that people were raving about this place I told my husband that we are headed to Sizzler for our first time in 10 plus years. He laughed! So what did we think of the Hesperia Sizzler you ask? OMG, it was the best Sizzler I have ever been to, no joke! The outside was modern, clean and well maintained and that just carried through throughout the restaurant. Each employee we encountered was kind and accommodating and assisted in making it a great experience. My husband, myself and one of our sons each had a salad bar and our little guy had the kids steak. With 4 drinks the total was $50 which was kind of expensive. I ended up with the salad bar instead of steak because it looked, and ended up tasting, divine. The salad bar was clean, well stocked and fresh. Something has happened here. Management is different, staff is different, and food quality has gone down hill. Beware the chicken wings on the salad bar that may be lukewarm--proceed at your own risk! If ordering from the kitchen, you should be fine. I wasn't going to leave this review because I have a friend who works at this particular store, but it's not the first time I've had a lousy meal at the Sizzler in Hesperia . It will be the last. Going to eat at The Sizzler, well it's like taking your car into a place of repair that practices upselling. There are several oil changing businesses that do that as well as muffler shops, and even few tire stores. I recently went to the Sizzler in Hesperia, Ca and had a steak dinner and endless shrimp.. lmbo the entire experience was a joke, totally poor food and poor service. I wanted a dinner salad to go with it but of course that was 7.99 extra, (upsell)... I passed as most dinners come with a salid,and I didn't want an endless salid bar just a dinner salid. $8.00 really? Maybe I'm cheap but that seems expensive for a dinner salad to me at the sizzler) .(Now the upsel starts). The Cashier told me my order came with a 6oz steak would I like to upgrade to a 8 oz? Well yes I did want to upgrade so I did, I agreed. $5.99 to upgrade.... did I want mushrooms with that? Of course I did that was another up charge. (So it is more for mushrooms at all places , no biggie.) My friend just ordered a cheeseburger we both had iced tea. Seemed like dinner took quite some time to arrive but the conversation was good so I ignored that. Our meal finally arrived at the table. I swear the steak I got had to be 5 oz not 6 or 8. The baked potato was not only cold but undercooked, the lemon that was in the iced tea looked... well used. Well I thought I can live with this really I can, after all it's sizzler not a nice steak house, I mean really I don't need the extra couple ounces of steak, and the potato eh, I never eat them all anyway. So I took a bite of the steak it had good flavor but I couldn't chew it, it was so tough,then tried out the baked potato.. yikes it's not cooked and it's cold. So I'm checking my receipt now to see if I was charged for a 8oz steak, yep there is the extra charge, but then I notice the charge for the mushrooms on there too, but humm where are the mushrooms??? They hadn't brought them to me... They forgot. So I waited for the waitress to come around, and I waited, and I waited, she finally came by,several times and although I tried to get her attention she almost ran by my table, until I practically had to trip her when she was jogging by again to get her to stop.... This would have been more acceptable had they been busy, but the place wasn't busy. I was finally able to get her attention and I told her the steak was not an 8 oz steak which I paid extra for, to which she replied oh sir I'm more than sure it's 8 oz's, it has to be,they because weigh them all. I looked at her and I said ma'am I'm sure they do weigh them all however this is 6oz not 8 and by the way where are my mushrooms.... to which she replied I must have forgot them, I said yes I'm sure you did just like the cook forgot I ordered an 8 oz steak for Christ sakes I'm 65 years old I know what a 8 oz steak looks like I know what a 6 ounce steak looks like, and I know what a real steak looks like at a real steak house. She brought over my mushrooms a few minutes later, and by that time I was over the whole meal. My buddy who got the cheeseburger at this point is laughing. I called over the manager and I pointed out the small steak which I had only taken a bite out of, pointing out the fact that my mushrooms were not served with the meal but 20 minutes later..., and the potato was not only cold but not cooked through. The manager did agree the steak was too small to be 8 oz and the potato was uncooked. He apologized about the meal and the poor service and as matter of fact he replaced my whole meal. All this for $61.00.... I took the replacement meal and left... After I got home I tried the replacement meal same thing, small tough steak, uncooked potato. The only thing of the whole meal that was decent was actually the mushrooms and the shrimp. Sizzler you'll have to up your game before I come back. I price checked a steak and shrimp meal and a cheeseburger and a local steakhouse in Apple Valley where I have gone I would have paid $8 more and I've eaten at the other Steakhouse and they'd never let me down I'll never come back to sizzler... if this is what you serve Sizzler I see why you closed in the past for about two or three years. Went for dinner Sat night with family after a very busy day. Very disappointed with this establishment. Will not recommend to family, friends, or neighbors. The girls at cashier very rude. I had the worst experience here today. The food was lukewarm which is very dangerous. And I found more than 10 plates with old spaghetti sauce and ranch dressing stuck to the plate. When I brought this to the attention of the manager he didn't even apologize he just took the plates for me and walked away. I will never eat at this Sizzler ever again. Which is really a shame because I used to really love this franchise and I will never ever ever eat there again. My mom and I ordered over the phone for curbside pickup. Amanda was the host that took our phone order, she was so very friendly and just awesome customer service all around. They were out of the cut of steak that we originally order due to the virus situation and so Amanda called back to inform us and ask if we would like the other cut that the had available. It wasn't necessarily our favorite cut, so we were a little hesitant but we said yes. And we were so glad we did the food was amazing!! The steaks were cooked very nicely. Thank You!!! Our 60.00 Valentines Lunch. Well what can I say.... its Sizzler. My steak was so skinny, I doubt it was 6 oz. They should be embarrased to serve a steak like that. The prices have gone up so much I was shocked. The senior salad bar is 15.99 now. That's not a senior price on any similar type restaurant. ( price gouging). My husbands steak was wrongly cooked, not once but twice. So we didn't eat together. The waitress offered to send it back again the second time, but my husband doesn't go for sending back food. Our waitress was sweet and pleasant. The manager knew there was an issue, but never addressed it nor did he care if we had a nice experience. I just feel like our Valentine lunch was a disaster and the meal even worse. The value of the meal is extremely poor. I hate to say it, but if they don't care about size value, quality, and dining experience, then Texas Road House will be their end. I really like Sizzler, but they need to shape up. It's unacceptable... I just thought that if you pay $ 50.00 plus for 2 meals they should atleast have real macaroni and cheese. It tasted like it came from a bag. And atleast heat it up first before putting it cold in the hotel pan coz when we got it it was not hot. Also the steak is not cook as what we ordered . I thought it's a steak house? We've been to many sizzler and I don't think their cook know what's the difference between medium, medium well and well done. All that was expected from the Sizzler's Salad Bar was fresh and plentiful with every conceivable vegetable to build a great salad. Great dressings also. There was plenty of staff to keep the bar stocked and clean. Our server was pleasant and tentative and as always, over worked. Yes it is a family restaurant, but it is a big restaurant. At first I thought we were seated in a section with no small children. Every booth and table seems to have the elderly, date-night couples and larger parties of adults. Half way through our meal was seated a family with a small child, then another on the other side of our booth with two more small children. And so, the loud screeches came. There is an age in a child's life where they are experiencing their own voice. While tolerated by the parents and sometimes found endearing, it sounds like nails on a chalkboard for the rest of us. Finishing up, we left the restaurant with a screeching contest between the two tables. It doesn't "take a Village...", just a good hostess so the Villagers can all enjoy their meal. read more

Not your average Sizzler, everything is fresh and taste great. I live the salad bar always clean and fresh and lots of items to choose from. Even the well done steak was juicy. Service was great got my refills and requested items. Love all the flat screen TVs and large seating area. Will return again to eat the fresh Salad Bar. read more

Not a very nice place for seniors. They offer a free drink on only 5 different entrees then they really get generous if you want to add a salad they will give you $0.50 off. Spent $49 on two meals and the stake was barely edible. Service at the front counter when ordering was poor. read more
