Sizzler on Main St has really gone down the crapper. The salad bar is overpriced and they no longer have all the extra items that go with it. They got rid of the Tuna noodle salad, corn fritters, mash potatoes and gravy, Mac and cheese, and all the deserts like the chocolate brownie cake for the ice cream. Every time I come here everyone is really nice. It's always clean and the food is fresh. I had a coupon for a free meal today because I signed up to be an e member so that was a plus. Reuben is very very nice, came by, checked on us, super friendly. I gave them a two star because there fries were decent. However I had to throw the fish and the salad away. The salad look good when I opened it but the second I dumped it on my plate brown wilted Lettuces was there it's like the topped the top with good letters and then just put nasty Lettuces at the bottom! And I got the fish and chips the fries were good but my fish was nasty! They put so much batter on the fish and when I bit into it there was still wet thick batter underneath so I no they didn't cook it long enough and the oil must of been old because it tastes oily. It was my first time at this concept and it felt like a circus. Not what I was expecting to walk in to when entering a restaurant. Staring at a huge menu on a wall? I could have gone to McDonald's for that. The food was sub par and I found the guards at the salad bar to be an obstacle when trying to reach for items to build a salad. Overall the experience wasn't one that was pleasant and felt the prices were a bit too steep for the atmosphere and having to do the majority of the work to get my food. read more

If I could give the manager of Sizzler zero stars I would. As we entered the restaurant my husband who is a Korean Veteran ask if they gave a Military discount and they said yes 5%. We had nice dinner, the waitress was nice enough and when we took a look at the $113.00 bill and saw the $.06 yes 6 cents Military discount, my husband ask the manager about it and he said that was it. What an insult to our Veterans and if that wasn't bad enough they had a sign saying we honor our Military and first responders. Well if that is how they honor them no thanks. We felt they needed the $.06 more than we did so we returned it. To our proud Veterans stay away from the Sizzler one Main St in Hesperia. read more

This is a really nice, clean Sizzler here in the High Desert. The one in Barstow is complete garbage compared to this place. We ate at the Barstow Sizzler about 5 years ago and never went back to another Sizzler until a few days ago (which is when we came to this Sizzler). The food was fresh, the staff was friendly; not what you experience from many other High Desert establishments. We went here with my Grandparents who were visiting from Florida and they were very impressed with the Hesperia Sizzler, and said it was "the nicest Sizzler they have ever been to". read more

The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. The food was good and the Endless Salad Bar has so many different options; I love their chicken wings and nacho bar. Always great service when I go and their endless salad bar is really good. Not only do they offer salads, but soups like menudo, broccoli cheddar, and chicken noodle. They offer a variety of appetizers (like onion rings and nachos), desserts (apple cobbler, bread pudding, and ice cream), and fruit. I had the bacon wrapped sirloins and it was pretty good. I asked for medium well but my steak was a little too rare, so the waiter gladly took it back and then it came back perfect. The bacon wrapped around the sirloin was genius! OMG - this is the BEST Sizzler I've ever been in! The salad bar is always clean, well stocked and fresh. Doesn't matter what time I have gone in - its always remarkably great! Their soups ROCK and the carnitas is to die for GOOD!! Better than some local Mexican restaurants! This place is good for a large chain Sizzler. It's new and renovated = clean and modern. I went here a few years back and it was terrible - but it's under new ownership and it much better now. The salad bar is okay - kind of a lot for $12. A lot of the food in the salad bar is salty (except the salad itself). read more

I started working in Hesperia a couple months ago and Sizzler has become one of our favorites. Down the hill the sizzles are ghetto, old, dark and ew but this one is awesome! I usually go for the salad bar. They have a wide variety of salad stuff along with a taco bar, Mac and cheese, onion rings, wedges and the best chicken wings ever! Oh and almost forgot about the sweet rolls, I could just eat those on their own. The few times I didn't get the salad bar I got the steak and lobster. It was a special, I believe it was $16.99 or something ridiculously cheap. Hesperia is pretty far from the ocean but for that price, the food was awesome. The service is great too! The manager walks around everyday to personally ask how every table is doing. The restaurant itself is brand new with huge TVs everywhere and it's super clean. read more

I love the crab salad but I don't remember celery in it last time, that was the only thing that disappointed me. Both my sons got steak and said their meal was perfect. This Sizzler is on Main st in Hesperia CA and AMAZING! The choicest are great on salad bar as well as the extra hot dishes that come with salad bar. So REALLY clean as well. Im spoiled, this is my go to Sizzler anywhere. The manager was amazing too. My Grandaughter needs to watch her sugar intake and was thinking about a little bit of yogurt ice cream. We asked the manager if he knew how many carbs might be in half a cup or if it was ice cream or yogurt. He didnt know right at that moment , but replied he would get the answer. And he did. He did his research and came back with a answer. My baby girl was able to enjoy a small treat. I dont have the managers name, but he was not only helpful, he was polite, well dressed. On our way home from the river, traveling down the 15 freeway, I was craving steak. Yelp reviews for the steak houses in the high desert weren't doing anything for me until I came to the review for...Sizzler! Shocked and amazed that people were raving about this place I told my husband that we are headed to Sizzler for our first time in 10 plus years. He laughed! So what did we think of the Hesperia Sizzler you ask? OMG, it was the best Sizzler I have ever been to, no joke! The outside was modern, clean and well maintained and that just carried through throughout the restaurant. Each employee we encountered was kind and accommodating and assisted in making it a great experience. My husband, myself and one of our sons each had a salad bar and our little guy had the kids steak. With 4 drinks the total was $50 which was kind of expensive. I ended up with the salad bar instead of steak because it looked, and ended up tasting, divine. The salad bar was clean, well stocked and fresh. Something has happened here. Management is different, staff is different, and food quality has gone down hill.
