I want to start off by apologizing to, I believe, Kirsten? My husband, my son and I were in last night and I completely spaced on leaving a tip! If we lived in the area, I would come back. So sorry! But on to the review.. this was my first time at a Sizzler. I had way lesser expectations. I thought it was weird and uncomfortable that you have to order before being seating. And it's definitely pricey. We spent about $80 for two adults and a child. They did mess up twice on our order. But the food was good. I ordered a delicious rare ribeye. Worth the $21. The salad bar had great options, too. The place was very clean, but my husband did say the bathroom was disgusting. Overall, though, I would recommend Sizzler to other people, and if we lived in the area, we would come back. read more

Please remove your sign that says you honor veterans. 5% off of the cheapest dinner on your bill is flat out insulting. Didn't even take it off the veteran's meal. Just the cheapest. Then they have the nerve to count the small change out. I'm embarrassed for you, and it was insulting to everyone at the table. At least we got more than the 6 cents I saw other people got, but not by much. Shame on you, less than a dollar off an 80.00 bill. How is that an honor? The feeling was more of screw you. Pretty disappointed at this place lately. As a matter of fact, I told the manager everyone there should be fired, but one girl. Seating and the wait were what to be expected. Service sucked. Drinks don't come until you're half done with your salad. Then far and few between. May as well just tell them to cook your steak whatever way they want. That's how they'll cook it anyways. This last visit they brought out our entrees at different times, so 1 of us was about done eating while the other 2 were still waiting on a drink and their meals. I was visiting my uncle, and he took me to his favorite restaurant, the sizzler in Hesperia. It had been years since I had been in a sizzler, and I wasn't sure if there was any around anymore. I was impressed with the cleanliness and excellent friendly staff. We both had the salad bar which had a very good selection of foods, including soups, tacos, fried chicken, and very fresh veggies, and the salad bar area I even had peach cobbler and chocolate/vanilla yogurt with chocolate sauce for dessert. My only regret is not getting a steak, they smelled so good going in to the restaurant! I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We went to Sizzler for dinner with the In-Laws. My Father In-Law asked I if they give a Military discount they said they do. We were sitting eating our dinner when we noticed the receipt had a 0.06 cent discount for his military discount. He went up to the manager and asked about the discount. The manager said they give a 5% discount well 5% of our total bill would be $5.55. The manager did nothing about fixing the bill. My father In-Law gave them back the 0.06 cents because he was an insulted to any military person. It wasn't the money but the principle that they would I insult a Korea war veteran. My father In-Law was literally hurt and insulted! Sizzle contacted my In-Laws and apologized. They said they would send them a complimentary meal for them. I think that was very nice. They said they would bring this issue up at the next managers meeting. I just hope that this never happens to another Veteran. Again Thank You Sizzler Corporate. read more

The things that made this place great, are no more. The food is very cold. The waiters are super stressed & slow (15 minutes to get a drink & that waiter was loud/snobby). No more dinner rolls, salad bar is downgraded - no more drumsticks, no more desserts/bread pudding/apple crumble etc, the salad bar "hot food" is VERY cold + stale, large tubs of strange watery ice cream syrups with things floating in them take up a large area where the sweets used to be, cold fries, cold nacho cheese, rubbery stale chips, cold taco fillings. Really not edible $16.99+ for lunch salad bar now. Couldn't find waiter for a LONG time. Had also ordered chicken + fries, it arrived cold. We all LOVED this place SO MUCH for many years... but for how it is now, sadly won't be back. read more

It had been some time since I last visited a Sizzler I was hoping to like it. At first I thought it had a rather nice set arrangement. Not your traditional dine in restaurant. A little more modern with the bill coming before the meal. I thought it appropriate to try there salmon. 16 odd some dollars, I thought it may be comparable to Black Angus given its pricing. Sorry to say salmon was cold. What I found odd was the sauce was extremely hot. They comped my meal and made me sign a waiver with my name and contact number. Salad bar is amazing. The ranch was so watered down it was basically just milk. My doctor pepper was brown carbonated water. Yuck!

Probably won't be back. First, the service today has been very poor - we had to flag other wait staff down because our server kept ignoring our request for drink refills, and then a "to go" box. Then the first three soup bowls I picked had visible food still on them! Add that to the fact that the salad bar was out of romaine (three trays of wilted iceberg though), the blue cheese dressing was gross (sweet, wth?), and the ice cream machine was "no working" according to one employee. Went to this Sizzler which we frequent often with my parents. My father chose the Sizzler and was taking us to dinner. My father is a Korean War veteran with a purple and many metals earned fighting for our country. He ask if they gave a military discount and they said yes. My father paid the bill and we sat down at our table. While eating out meal we notice the receipt said the military discount was 6 cents. My father went and ask the manager Johnny if it was correct and he said they gave 5% but never offered to fix it. It's not even the money it the insult my 87 year father felt as we left the restaurant. His feelings are really hurt and he can't believe they would insult our veterans like that. They even have a sign behind the counter saying they honor our veterans and first responders. If that's how they honor them it's a sad day in America. read more

My husband's steak was ok.. salad bar was ok, just they should put what is in salads, vegan stuff needs to be labeled as vegetarian. Vegans do not eat cheese and a salad with cheese not too happy. Then to find hair in my food and all they say is thank you for telling us, well trade it out. And for $34 you'd think they'd say we're sorry, here is a free meal. We used to eat at this sizzler all the time and went back after covid and we were very disappointed the lettuce in the salad bar was not crisp and fresh it was sitting out to long it was wilted .the prices are a little higher but the food servings are smaller you pay a lot for less food. Surprised and surprised. We went to Sizzler yesterday and have not been here in 5 years at least. We ordered steak and lobster. The steaks were cooked perfectly and they were seasoned perfectly. The lobster although small (5 oz) in size was excellent for the price. Service was average but the food was outstanding. We will be back for sure. Sizzler on Main St has really gone down the crapper. The salad bar is overpriced and they no longer have all the extra items that go with it. Every time I come here everyone is really nice. It's always clean and the food is fresh. I had a coupon for a free meal today because I signed up to be an e member so that was a plus. Reuben is very very nice, came by, checked on us, super friendly. I gave them a two star because there fries were decent. However I had to throw the fish and the salad away. The salad look good when I opened it but the second I dumped it on my plate brown wilted Lettuces was there it's like the topped the top with good letters and then just put nasty Lettuces at the bottom! And I got the fish and chips the fries were good but my fish was nasty! They put so much batter on the fish and when I bit into it there was still wet thick batter underneath so I no they didn't cook it long enough and the oil must of been old because it tastes oily. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. The food was good and the Endless Salad Bar has so many different options; I love their chicken wings and nacho bar. This is a really nice, clean Sizzler here in the High Desert. The one in Barstow is complete garbage compared to this place. We ate at the Barstow Sizzler about 5 years ago and never went back to another Sizzler until a few days ago (which is when we came to this Sizzler). Im spoiled, this is my go to Sizzler anywhere. The manager was amazing too. My Grandaughter needs to watch her sugar intake and was thinking about a little bit of yogurt ice cream. We asked the manager if he knew how many carbs might be in half a cup or if it was ice cream or yogurt. He didnt know right at that moment , but replied he would get the answer. And he did. Always great service when I go and their endless salad bar is really good. Not only do they offer salads, but soups like menudo, broccoli cheddar, and chicken noodle. They offer a variety of appetizers (like onion rings and nachos), desserts (apple cobbler, bread pudding, and ice cream), and fruit. I had the bacon wrapped sirloins and it was pretty good. I asked for medium well but my steak was a little too rare, so the waiter gladly took it back and then it came back perfect. The bacon wrapped around the sirloin was genius! Their baked potatoes are the best I've ever had...they really know how to make them! Other than that, great service! read more
