For being Father's Day it wasn't so bad at 2:30 at El Toro sizzler we had Christina as our Server she was very attentive until she had to take her break after that we were not seeing by anybody for drink refills are anything it took 30 minutes to get checked on & my steak wasn't cooked the way I wanted it medium steak was more on the well done side.

Establishment is relaxed and spacious. Staff was professional and courteous. For those unfamiliar with sizzler, they have a buffet style offering for their unlimited salad bar which is not just salad. You can also get made to order items. I picked up: 1. Clam chowder: rich, salty, decent 2. Taco: Shell is okay, meat is decent 3. Salad: fresh, plenty of toppings TLDR: Excellent service, okay food, good establishment, okay value. Could recommend.

Went to good old Sizzler last night for the first time at their Lake Forest location. If you can't decide on what to eat it's still a solid place for the price and options. All u can eat salad bar for $10 as an add on to your entree is worth it because they have so many options. I ordered the steak and 6 fried shrimp with a baked potato-everything on it. $23 .99 for the entree. My server was awesome and very attentive bringing the cheese toast fresh and on request. Restaurant is clean and they are continuously wiping down the tables as they get lots of traffic in the evening time (especially on a Sunday night). Will come again when I'm in the area.

Wow! Thoroughly impressed by this Sizzlers branch. I can definitely understand why it's top rated. The salad-bar buffet experience ($19.99) was very well-managed. I enjoyed the usual hot foods here but compared to other branches, the taco meat here was actually super delicious and I enjoyed how there were actual warmed corn tortillas. I seriously never saw that in the many other Sizzler's I've been to growing up. The soups were all wonderful and I really enjoyed the menudo, which was tasteful and the beef was tender and juicy! Ontop of that, the older gentleman we had as server named Jose was very efficient and really took care of us well. He replaced waters, grabbed our plates, and was very nice. He truly made our experience even better and for that, we are super grateful for! Definitely a good pick on a Sunday morning.

One thing about me: I loveeee a salad bar. And Sizzler provides an excellent salad bar. I've been to this location a couple times and whether it's the opening lunch slot or dinner the salad bar stays stocked with fresh veggies, toppings, and dressings. They keep it very clean despite the high volume of patrons. Service is excellent, too. I've noticed that the owner (at least I think it's the owner) is always milling around, checking in and greeting diners. It's a small touch but you can really tell they care about providing quality customer care here and that shines through in all of the interactions with the staff. My husband got the classic trio. It was tasty but the mashed potatoes were not our favorite, they weren't super warm. Steak was cooked perfectly though. I'm sure we'll be back when the salad bar craving strikes again.

It's been a while since we've last been to Sizzler and I had a craving for their salad bar. Joshua provided amazing service today clearing our plates and refilling our drinks. This place is kept very clean and service is so friendly. They do a great job on replenishing their salad bars and keeping it nice and tidy. Sadly you don't see too many Sizzlers around anymore but If you want to experience a nice blast from your past you have to come to this location. It is retro and very nostalgic and even the music they play is a flash from your past ! Their soft serve dessert options are an excellent end to a satisfying salad bar meal. Come try this place out. All you can eat Salad bar prices are about $18.

Sizzler is a better version of Souplantation. Last week was my first time here and I ended up coming back again this week because it was such a good experience. Steak: 7/10. Not bad. It's cute that they put a flag to show what cook it has. Prime rib burger: 8/10. Simple burger and it's good. Option to do protein style. You can pick your side and change it from fries at no additional cost which is nice. Salad bar: you can upgrade to a salad bar for an additional cost that varies depending on what type of food you ordered. It's awesome. The variety is so good. There's a lot of salad options, but also pasta salads, spaghetti and meatballs, taquitos, wings, potato wedges, a taco bar, and a dessert bar. Sooo good. It's 100% worth it so come hungry. Cheese bread: 9/10. Simple and good! Joshua was an excellent server. He's very nice and helpful. His service was above and beyond. Thanks, Joshua, for being so great!

BRING CASH FOR TIPS. I'm not an employee there, just a concerned customer. I paid for our dinner at the counter with my credit card and as soon as the machine beeped, they transaction closed and I was not given an opportunity to leave a tip. The cashier said I should leave cash when I inquired about how to leave a tip. Who carries cash these days??? Good thing one of did. Management- please update your POS software to include a tipping option. Food - super fresh veggies at the salad bar. Soups are meh, esp the clam chowder. Priced a little high IMHO. read more

Sizzlers is iconic! Last time I came to this Sizzlers was over a year ago, maybe longer and even then I remember that I really enjoyed it and a year or two later - nothing has changed. They have the BEST Salad bar around! It's not just salads, it's pastas, tacos, wings, etc....and a dessert bar. Of course as you sit down and are greeted by your server you get a basket of cheesy Texas toast, yum! The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly and you really get a bang for your buck. They have the all you can eat steak and shrimp too - saving that for my next visit. read more

My wife and I went to Sizzlers for the first time in a while (maybe been here once since the pandemic). Very clean, salad bar and its sides well stocked, good selection of meals. A little more expensive than it used to be to be (but then what restaurant in SoCal isn't). Just over $40 including tip for the two of us. She had a petit sirloin and I had the salad bar. read more

Teresa was wonderful! First time at a Sizzler they were very good and quick at explaining how to order up front before sitting. Location is very clean including the bathrooms. Food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Portion for the entree is exactly what I wanted with no excess and the salad bar is stocked with both cooked options and fresh fruit and vegetables. When my friend suggested Sizzler for lunch, I couldn't even remember the last time I'd been there. The interior had definitely been upgraded. We both got the salad bar and I didn't remember there being so many food choices. Each salad I had was fresh and delicious. I didn't really have any of the hot food because it was just too hot to think about it. Our waiter, Jose, was polite and attentive. Maybe we will put sizzler back in the rotation. read more

We had a huge party on a holiday weekend and our party needed a nice bit of attention. From the moment we walked in we had a OUTSTANDING experience. Our orders were taken promptly, drinks served promptly. Anthony gave his name and was nice, but the girl... she was extremely rude and honestly does not belong behind the bar. We got there at 10:30 PM, so it's not like we showed up last minute. Overall, the experience tonight was disappointing.

Caveat: I am partial to mango/coconut milk or mango sticky rice matcha lattes. The goma matcha was worth the $8 pricetag. Tip: Matcha Mondays=10% off matcha drinks! The mango one maybe was worth it due to the amount of matcha, but I do feel like I could make it at home. The milk bread ($5.50) was soft, with a delightful bursting sweet cream filling topped with those shite pearly crunchies-- unique and delicious. I also loved the kinako an pan (sweet bread with red bean filling, $5.50) because of the nostalgic flavors, but also because the azuki bean had a nice crunchy sugar quality. The matcha was good with a very strong matcha flavor and the original had a slight lemon flavor. I enjoyed all the food and sweets here, but a bit disappointed with their drink portion.

It has a nice ambience and the service was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive. I haven't had a calzone in years and for some reason decided to have one here at De Lucia's and boy was I pleased with my decision. The crust was just the right amount of crispy, the cheese was nice and stringy and the meat sauce was the topping on the cake. I have to also shoutout their delicious Cesar salad and complimentary bread. Everything was excellent and will have to stop by here again the next time I'm getting my car serviced.

It is family owned and you can feel it. Everyone is genuinely friendly and excited to serve you, which makes the experience even better. The restaurant itself is clean, quiet, and comfortable with good vibes all around. This is one of those reliable spots you keep coming back to because it just does everything right. Both dishes were delicious. The curry was rich and flavorful, and the beef was stewed beautifully until tender. The roti was a little on the greasy side, but still enjoyable. The pad see ew was especially good and very satisfying. One thing to note: even the mild spice level had a noticeable kick in both dishes, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to spice. Overall, a really solid Thai spot that I would happily return to.

My recent visit to Sizzler left me utterly dismayed and concerned about both the quality of their food and the clientele it seems to attract. While the restaurant's ambiance was decent, the horrible food overshadowed any positive aspect. The moment I took my first bite, I knew something was terribly wrong. The flavors were dull, and the dishes lacked the freshness and finesse one would expect from a reputable establishment. The presentation was lackluster, with disheveled plates that seemed hastily assembled. It was evident that the kitchen staff had little regard for the culinary arts. What truly troubled me, though, was the clientele I observed throughout my meal. I couldn't help but notice several individuals in poor health, some of whom were in wheelchairs or appeared to have experienced strokes. It raised a disconcerting question in my mind: Were these individuals drawn to this restaurant, or had their health suffered as a result of eating here? It is crucial to note that correlation does not equal causation, and I cannot definitively conclude that the restaurant is directly responsible for their patrons' health conditions. However, the sight of so many individuals in such challenging states certainly made me question whether there is a connection. As a conscientious consumer, I believe that a restaurant should prioritize the well-being of its patrons. Whether through providing nutritious and balanced options or accommodating dietary restrictions, a dining establishment should strive to promote a healthier lifestyle. Sadly, Sizzler missed the mark entirely. The lackluster food, combined with the disheartening sight of unwell patrons, left a lasting impression on me. To start, I had always heard great things about sizzlers back in the day and was just waiting for a day I had an appetite to come try this location on El Toro that did not disappoint. These type of restaurants don't really cross the minds of the masses too many times, but coming here with my girlfriend was something special because we didn't really expect much. Thats why it was really outstanding to have a smiley host who was very nice as well as our server Tim who attended to us promptly and looked as if he was working really hard to give great service. This must not go unnoticed, great service is few and far between now and if you read this Tim, just know my girlfriend and I really appreciate your hospitality and it made our food and experience that much better! The food was great and both of our steaks were juicy and cooked how we asked as well as everything in the salad bar tasted fresh and as if it was not out for too long. If you're looking for a classic dining experience with all-you-can-eat soup and salad, delicious steaks and seafood, and a great atmosphere, then Sizzler in Lake Forest is the hidden gem. Although I was disappointed to miss out on the cheese toast, everything else was wonderful. The clam chowder is definitely a standout dish, and the crispy shrimp is a must-try. But the real star of the show is the garlic cheese bread, which is simply the best. It's great to see that this Sizzler location is still going strong despite the closure of so many others. The managers do an excellent job of keeping the restaurant running smoothly, and the nostalgic atmosphere is sure to bring back fond memories. My girlfriend was especially pleased to indulge in her childhood favorite, nachos. Overall, I highly recommend this top-notch Sizzler location to any fan of the chain. It's a great place to come and support, especially if you haven't been to a Sizzler since 1995. read more

Sizzler in Lake Forest on El Torro, This is the second time I have gone there and witnessed the cashier wrapping the clean silverware in napkins behind the counter. The problem is, he would help customers at the cash register, then turn around and handle the silverware without washing his hands or putting on gloves. I watched him handle credit cards and cash. This is very unsanitary, the last time I complained to the manager,, he agreed with me and told the cashier he should wash his hands. Today I was there and the same, no change in the way they are handling the silverware. I complained to our waiter and asked him to tell the manager. I don't think he did, I also mentioned to him there was no hand soap in the mens restroom. They did not do any thing about that either with in the 45 minutes I was there. The salad bar and potato were good, but the steak was tough. Prices are way too high ! 18.99 for a 6 oz steak and 18.99 for the salad bar. read more

Exceptional Service from Tim at Sizzler! We recently celebrated my mother's birthday at Sizzler, and Tim was our server--and honestly, he made the entire evening extra special. From the moment we were seated, Tim was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made sure our steaks were cooked just the way we liked them, checked in at just the right times, and kept everything running smoothly for our party of seven. Jose provides excellent customer service. He always greets you with a smile and is very welcoming. Although it gets busy, he gives you his full attention and is very efficient in his serving. I know this because I am a regular customer. Jose always remembers my order- which is the shrimp dinner :) Also, Lupe is a kind server and very friendly. She is very upbeat and recognizes me and my family whenever I come. Both are hard workers, and our family appreciates them. Both handle heavy trays and multiple meals, and they do this with ease. Disappointed. Got the fish and chips lunch special for 14.99 no salad bar, and it was just 2 depressing over breaded fish sticks on a pile of fries. Couldnt even finish the fries. My stomach super unhappy with that lunch. The only mac and cheese available is on the kids meal with the salad bar- its just a big spoonful of obvious kraft mac and cheese, not even real food. My daughter grabbed chicken tenders at the salad bar to find they had bones, and were mostly bread. So weird. Im glad I didnt pay extra for the salad bar. All they had was salad, make your own sad tacos, and pale orange chicken I was not brave enough to try. 2 sad mostly fake food lunches about $39. Made me miss soupplantaion so much. read more

It's been several years since I ate at this Sizzler. When I walked in, I was very pleasantly surprised at the decor and ambiance. The menu looked fantastic and it was difficult deciding what to order. After making my selection, I was escorted to my table and met my server, Tim. Yes, the food was incredible! I was amazed at the quality based on the extremely reasonable prices. However, what made the meal so special was the unbelievable service that I received from Tim. He was extremely kind, helpful, and dedicated to his job. He went the extra mile to make my friend and I feel welcomed. I can't speak highly enough about Tim and the service that I received. I stood by the menu boards for over 10 minutes trying to decide. It has been years since I ate at a Sizzler. Across the lot there's a BBQ place that added to my dilemma. Decided to stay and ordered the second highest price, steak and lobster. Steak was only ok... I don't understand how the quality they boast can be so tough.. The lobster was not cooked, it was still gelatinous inside, so I sent it back. Whatever happened to the tasty pamesan butter toast and fluffy baked potatoes that made Sizzler famous??? I went there today to celebrate my new car, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience! The place was very clean, and the staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The wait time was actually quite good, which made the experience even better. The steak was delicious and well-cooked, although the portion was a bit small for the price. The salad bar had a nice variety of fresh options, which I really liked. The chicken was a little on the dry side, but the shrimp were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. It is a bit on the pricey side, but overall the quality and atmosphere made it worth it. My family and I dine here regularly with my in-laws. We are very happy with the friendly staff and servers here. We are always greeted warmly by the cashiers and we receive excellent service from the servers. We often have the pleasure of having Jose as our server and I just cannot say enough about how nice he is. He makes sure we have everything we need throughout the entire meal. Our drinks are always quickly refilled, our food is served promptly, and we love his positive attitude. I haven't been to sizzler again for ages. It is because I had a bad eating experience at other Sizzlers in Berkeley. Since this location was recently remodeled I figured it was about time to return. My family and I stopped here last weekend. The staffs were wonderful. they have good food and is affordable. It's really better than what I have had at other Sizzlers. I ordered the tri tip that was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The steak was cooked to my liking, so that it didn't need any sauce to cover up the blandness. Also it has clean, fresh and many good choices at the salad bar and dessert. I ate a lot. I enjoyed. read more

We went to Sizzler at this location for Teddy's birthday. We ordered a salad bar and two triplelicious plates. (which consisted of sirloin steak, fried shrimp, and BBQ ribs!) Which were all so tasty. We ordered the sides of baked potatoes and they were amazing, and all arrived very quickly. Our server's name was Monica, and she was very attentive and friendly. We will be going back for my wife's birthday soon. (Tonto) This place is also spotless clean, with a nice Vegas-esque inner decor and lighting . I had a really great experience at Sizzler, thanks in large part to our server, Monica. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She made sure our drinks were always filled, checked in at just the right times, and was quick to answer any questions we had about the menu. It's not always easy to find service that feels both efficient and warm, but Monica struck that balance perfectly. She really made our visit more enjoyable, and it didn't go unnoticed. Had a really good experience at Sizzler. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the whole visit. The food came out fresh, hot, and tasted great. Their salad bar had a very good variety and everything looked clean and well stocked. You can tell they put effort into keeping the quality up. My childhood relived! My dad used to take us to Sizzler as a special treat when I was growing up - and now I take my parents here :) This location is stellar! The salad bar is phenomenally fresh and always fully stocked. Service is always great, we have gotten service from the same lady several times, I wish I remembered her name.. but she's fantastic. Salad bar fills you up, I usually don't get anything else but I've been told the salmon and baked potato do not disappoint. Also, cheese bread = yummy. read more
