The staff were so helpful. We came with a party of 5 and we hadn't been here in years. The menu is easy to navigate and we order upon arrival. We ordered so much food, 2 bacon burgers, 1 steak and jumbo shrimp, a steak and lobster, and the shrimp shrimp shrimp meal! All of it with cheese toast and the salad bar. The restaurant was so clean and easy to navigate for my elderly grandmother. We came on a Monday after work, so they had not one but BOTH football games on-score! Christina had great customer service. She was attentive and kind. She checked on us a few times to for refills on drinks and the unlimited shrimp. The food was decent. It was my first time at sizzlers, my boyfriend was craving the unlimited shrimp. The only option for the unlimited shrimp was the entree with steak now. Also, Salad bar was basically $20 for unlimited. My boyfriend said it wasn't that much before or it even just came with the meal too. So that was a bummer. You pay in the beginning before you sit, I wasn't given the option to tip with card so I wasn't able to tip the server because I didn't have cash. Sizzler was a stable for me growing up as a kid, and that was before I really appreciated salad bars. But now there are just a lot fewer Sizzlers around, and with the Souplantation chain killed by the pandemic, one does reminisce about good ol' sizzlers. And this was how we decided to come check out this location, after reading the other great reviews. I have to say, the steak tasted better (e.g. tenderer and juicer) than it looked, and the ribs were good too. The kids enjoyed the salad bar, particularly the ice cream -- though one of them had stomachache afterward and it's unclear whether it was the ice cream or not. My friend and I went on a Wednesday evening about 5:30 PM so it was early and not too busy yet . Raymundo the Manager that was very nice took our order for us. We both ordered the Sr . smaller plates: 6oz Sirloin steak & Salad with baked potato. The salad bar was fresh with so many options . We made our salad then enjoyed our wonderful steak and baked potato and that to die for sizzler toast . The steak was cooked to perfection - so tender and the seasoning was spot on. All I can say was the chef did excellent on the cook - to me it was as good as a filet and I am picky . Our sever was Alonso and he was so kind and took care of anything we needed. I should have asked for one extra toast lol . All I can say is SIZZLER you out did yourself last night - SERVICE - 10 FOOD -10 AMBIANCE - 8 - little like diner and restaurant- but very clean and they really counts . loved the Olympics being on - If you're craving really tasty fresh food and at a decent price -come here . Just ordered from here after a long hiatus... eating the food reminded me why I havent eaten here in so long. I ordered the Trio which consists of a 6 oz tri tip sirloin, a malibu chicken and 4 fried shrimps. I got rice pilaf with it and paid extra for sauteed mushrooms since they looked good in the pics on Yelp. It also came with a lemon slice, some kind of mustardy aoili and a slice of cheese bread. I also paid extra to upgrade the 6 oz steak to a 8 oz one. This was one of the worst steaks I have ever had. It was about 3 inches wide an inch thick and rare/purple (I ordered medium rare). It was unbelievably hard to cut it. It had a tube or line of sinew running right down the middle, making about an inch un-cuttable and inedible. It had no flavor at all. No seasoning, didnt take salt or pepper even. The mushrooms looked exactly like they did in the photos, but they were bleh. They were cooked ok but were drenched in a grease that coated my mouth and the only way to get rid of the nasty feeling was to brush my teeth. The Malibu Chicken was about 60% ok. The outside edges were so overcooked they were rock hard. I worried about cracking a tooth. The Shrimp were fine, but a mustard dipping sauce?!?! The Cheese Bread was unforgettable. I used to look forward to this but now its just meh. The Rice Pilaf was the only good thing on the whole plate. Sizzler was good decades ago for what you paid and how much you got. Then it went downhill when they changed everything up. They made a brief comeback about 10 years ago when they switched to Tri Tips and were cooking them on the grill they had outdoor. Now its back to the run of the mill steaks that should be used for ground beef, not as a "tri tip sirloin". I wont be back. Too many chances and too many fails. Sizzler should be ashamed to take $40 from people for that garbage. read more

What the hell is going on at this particular Sizzler? Who's running it? And why isn't that person, the CEO of the whole damned chain? First off, it is properly and fully staffed, so the place is neat and the (entirely traditionally American) salad bar is well maintained and full of fresh, clean vegetables. Second, the burger here was entirely properly cooked, with the right amount of salt. The garlic mashed potatoes were the only letdown -- they were clearly reconstituted from flakes a few hours ago. Now I grant you, there's nothing challenging or spectacular about the meal. And the lighting is a bit medical. But for this particular genre of food and service, this particular Sizzler is absolutely nailing it. Believe it or not, this is actually a date place, for a certain kind of quirky date -- for example, if you're both short on cash but want a night out anyway. My low maintenance girlfriend loved it. My wife and I have eaten at Sizzler for decades, but stopped when the location closest to us closed several years ago. We were in the neighborhood of the Lake Forest location recently and decided to give the salad bar a try. We were impressed by the selection of salad type items. We wouldn't mind seeing more hot meat items though. The cheese bread is always the best. The location was clean and the service was exceptional.
