I love this Sizzler! It's newly remodeled and has an excellent salad bar. I actually look forward to seeing the manager, Ramon and always greeted with a side hug! I haven't been to a sizzler in probably 20 years so when friends asked us to meet them here we thought we would try it. It was a very clean and big restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and the service was fantastic! The menu was almost the same as I had remembered but the salad bar was very much enlarged. I very much appreciate the server being in the middle of the bar keeping all items full. I went to yelp to see the reviews and look at the menu. Came to sizzlers with a few family members because we were craving the salad bar. We also ordered steak entrees. Our food kept getting messed but our server Nicholas was on top of it. He made sure they got it right. He was very fast and attentive. He was very pleasant and loved having him as our server. No steak experts here! With our favorite restaurants closed or packed to the rafters on New Year's Eve, the wife and I ended up at Sizzler's for a steak dinner. Long story short, I ordered a well-done steak and the first steak they brought out was medium rare and warm to the touch. I sent the steak back and 10 minutes later the waiter returned with a steak which again was cooked medium rare. I asked to speak to the manager, he refunded the cost of the one dinner I ordered even though I explained to him that they had ruined our dining experience. Will never go back since these guys do not know how to cook a steak to order. Amateurs and not the professionals you would come to expect. read more

so first time ever trying this place and spent $55 on my meals, price wasn't a problem until i started eating. The quality of this food should be somewhat good for $55 and just to see basically a tube in my steak, this was so gross and it was in mine and my husbands steak, we probably wouldn't have noticed if we were cutting our steak but we were ripping it. Anyways this place is okay and their steak is actually disgusting which is the pricey part of the plate and i wish i would've never stopped by here. $55 down the drain. read more

Dear Haters, I tried doing this the easy way by shutting you out but I guess you want to make this difficult. Bragging about what you have to offer, I get it, it's new but I prefer refined. I know it pains you to hear this but Sizzler has the best burgers....There I said it!!! I know Sizzler is basically a running joke now but when I get my hands on those buns I can't think of anything else. Plus I've seen you with Five Guys and I suggest you get tested. I know they say they are all natural and clean but it's just with all In N Out that goes on we just don't need Five Guys in our lives. I'll admit, the In N Out is very good but maybe it's too good. There is always a wait to get serviced by them. Some say it's worth it I say it's Habit not worth keeping. If you must hear the details, you asked for it. Some might consider this cheesy but that bread they lay on me when I walk in the doors gets my mouth watering. When was the last time anyone else did that for you? That's what I thought! Plus they always give it to me just the way I want it, sometimes I ask for it rare moist and super juicy with a hot pink center. Sometimes I just want it Hot and ask for them to do it well and they deliver every single time. I think they will even give it to you raw for the adventurous types. I can also dress it any way I want...or not. Sometimes all it takes is a thick piece of meat in those buns, if that's not for you maybe you just can't handle it. I really enjoy this place. Whenever I come and visit my family we make a trip to this Sizzler. I thought it was funny how my parents were always checking in here, but then I got to see what the fuss was about. I've only ever had the salad bar option, but keep in mind that in addition to a great salad bar (where they literally toss your salad for you), they have a handful of soups and some hot foods to also enjoy. I usually get a good sized salad, then get a soup or two (the clam chowder and beef vegetable soup is surprisingly good the times I've been there), hit the taco bar (I usually get a plate full of carnitas, also surprisingly good), then round it off with some frozen yogurt. I leave absolutely stuffed and happy. The service is also very good. Managers usually check in once or twice while you eat. Severs are also attentive even while busy. Where do I start? Ok here we go. The outside of the restaurant is so beautiful, right in a corner location where is easy to see. We moved from Los Angeles back in April and been in the look out for a sizzler out here since we are huge fans of this establishment. I must say, this restaurant is the best we been to. The customer service is outstanding, the staff is very attentive from the general manager to their awesome employees. Carmen was out waitress today! She's a total sweetheart! Made our experience worth our wild. She's amazing makes you feel like family. Never a dull moment, she's a busy girl serving her tables but never skip a beat to make sure we were taken care of. Nope. Never again. Used to be our place before the remodel. Oh yeah we couldn't wait for the reopening, we drive by sizzler everyday on the way home. I love the Malibu chicken. We were regulars. First visit post remodel was about 4 weeks after the opening. We waited for traffic to die down, 7:30pm on a Tuesday. It was very busy either way, but we dealt. My food comes and my steak. Oh lord the steak was cold. I'm not exaggerating. I could hold it in my hand the second it got to the table. I was poking it. A steak should never be like that ever. The cheese on the chicken was clearly melted a long time earlier. So I called a manager over because he was close by. I explain the issue, demonstrate the cold steak, and he stares blankly and said "so do you want me to take it back?" What??? Yeah what in the heck else would I be asking?? He was like offended that I didn't like the cold steak. Okay so that was just terrible. Other little stuff happened but I attributed it to annoyance more than anything. We came back today because the food can't keep us away! It's so yummy. Service was terrible. I would curse but I don't want my review flagged. It was so bad. Waitress was indifferent, none of the service people wanted to get us ketchup for some really odd reason. It was again a bunch of little stuff from ordering to finish, but I sadly left my uneaten Malibu chicken behind because the wait for a box was 20+ minutes at that point. This is our go to restaurant when we are traveling through this area. It is clean, the order takers and servers are very good, and there is a good selection of foods. I recently tried the burger since a previous reviewer had said they were so good. And we did like them, however medium is about the way they should be cooked, ours were a little overdone, when we requested medium well, I know that is well done. Anyway, I loved their new slider combo, it was delicious. And the salad bar was very good, but I'm not a fan of the broccoli cheese soup, too much thickener that gives it a processed taste. I'm so glad sizzler's finally re opened. My family and I had been waiting for them anxiously to open. I must say it was a very nice outcome. Food was great as always. Although pretty bummed out that thy removed the macaroni and cheese and replaced it with spaghetti. Another thing to is that we were such a huge fan of the menudo they serve but don't serve it here. I'm giving them a 2 mainly because of SERVICE!!!!!! THEY HAVE BAD SERVICE HERE. It's so awkward because you see so many waitresses walking around but they don't tend to you. My experience was horrible , I'm still hungry . I ordered through door dash and I got a 19 minute eta . So I arrive at the restaurant at minute 22 and the manager told me he doesn't have anything in the system under my name . I tell him I ordered through door dash and I literally watch him accept the door dash order then he proceeds to tell me it will be 15 minutes and that "we just received the order not too long ago" mind you I DO NOT HAVE 15 MINUTES! After 3 days relaxing in Palm Desert eating and lounging by the pool and 5 hours of outlet power shopping we headed back home and stopped at Sizzler to give us that last little push we needed to make it home in time to get just a few hours sleep before work the next day. Wow was that a long sentence. When I was a kid, I BEGGED my parents to take us to Sizzler. I was in complete awe of the enormous salad bar, appetizer bar and dessert bar...not to mention the garlic toast they bring to the table. I have no idea why I thought it was so cool, but it was such a special treat to have dinner at Sizzler back then. I haven't had Sizzler in at least 10 years and even though I was exhausted on this particular trip, I found a certain comfort in eating there again. Not quite the dining level we had enjoyed while in Palm Desert, but it was still good all the same. I made my own nachos with that soupy nacho cheese sauce, a pork carnitas taco (the pork was delicious by the way), had some other random fried foods, a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, a trip to the actual salad part of the salad bar, and chocolate ice cream topped with oreos, a little fudge sauce and some strawberries from the salad bar. Except the salad bar, and really the salad bar is not the main draw of the salad bar... they have lettuce, and tomatoes, dressing, yeah great... so, moving on... they also have the hot salad bar, yeah kinda silly really - everyone knows salads are, like, cold and stuff.... Taco fixings, chicken wings, onion rings, and other oh, so salad-y stuff. Oh and don't forget the desert salad bar.... really? Come on now... Soft-serve salad ice-cream with salad nuts, salad chocolate sauce and salad sprinkles... So, to summarize. First off the re-model is so refreshing and they even appeared to pick up their food game as well. The salad bar was fresh with many options and they even added a person who will mix your salad and dressing for you after you get all your ingredients. My favorite was the banana pudding complete with wafers. Big plus was the follow up service, I ordered something that will go unmentioned because it was a taste thing and the first time I ordered it (many may actually love it) so I am not going to ding them for personal preference. When the attendant came I quietly asked her to remove it with only one bite taken. I ordered it, it was was I ordered just not to my liking so I don't feel the Restaurant should have to pay for my mistake in ordering, I was simply going to leave no harm no foul. Before I left the Manager came to my table and asked about the problem, even though I explained it was not their fault only a matter of personal taste he wanted to see me leave happy (I was happy as hell from that fill up at the salad bar) and offered to take it off my bill, even after I said not to taking it off my bill he offered me to select something else from the menu but I was full so I let him know it was OK. My point is service! when you get good service do not abuse it, respect and appreciate it. Some people will go looking for any reason expecting for their meal to be compensated when there was not one damned thing wrong. I am usually not fond of such places as Sizzlers when it comes to food. However I was really impressed with our visit to this one. Food wise, it was great. I ordered the 6oz steak and all you can eat salad bar. Food - Our meals came in a very prompt fashion and all our steaks were cooked as we had requested them. Salad Bar - The salad bar was nicely kept and the choices were fresh. I noted that the soups were changed several times throughout our dining time. I thought the spinach salad and the soups were especially good. Service - Usually at most places I find these service to be average or usually mediocre at best. However the experience here was top notch. The waitresses were all friendly and helpful. They stopped to check on us several times and took care of our plates, refills, etc. Dining area - Everything was well kept and looked great. Overall I would say if you're look for some good cheap eating, this place is great. I have eaten at the Sizzlers in Redlands and was not very impressed. This one was great overall and I would recommend if you have to eat somewhere cheap and still get good quality of food, go try here. read more
