Have ordered four different cases direct from SKB, excellent quality and durability but the customer service and return policy is terrible. Ordered a travel carry on and it was too small once received, so decided to return, I am resposple for the return shipping that is goint to be $150 on a $300 dollar case. That being said I will buy all my future SKB Cases from a third party vendor so if needed I can return at no cost. By the way the third party vendor is the same purchase price. read more

Horrible customer service. I placed a significant order for 50 cases and they were not on time and disfunctional . I had been ordering here for years but their quality in the last months is terrible. They definitely need better quality control or better management. Their previous product was quality. Now it's gone down the drain . I went in to have a civil discussion and was rudely escorted out by a lady named patty . I will never do business with them again . I would not recommend this place to anyone its terrible value and investment. And a plus as I was walking out they had a lady (worker) selling food and asked me if I wanted to buy a plate . put my clubs in this SKB hardshell case. Never traveled with clubs before, so i didn't know how to package them. SKB does not include proper packing or any information when you purchase it. Well my driver head broke, snapped right off the shaft during travel on a commercial airline. SKB says they have a $1,500 warranty, but it does not cover this as they only cover failure of the case itself, not 'improper packing' as they called it to me. So long story short, learn how to pack your clubs if you use this or any golf case as SKB does not provide proper packing techniques. read more

Worst customer service ever! They sent me a defective case with a defective handle that rendered the wheels useless. When I contacted them they sent me parts to fix it which did not help at all. Then I had to send the case back to them for repair. When they shipped the case back to me it had not been repaired and was exactly the same as when I had shipped it. Complete waste of time. Customer service is a joke and does nothing but give you the runaround. I have had this defective case for over a month and after attempting to repair it with their parts and instructions at home and sending it back to them with their assurances it would come back repaired it is still not functioning properly. I have had an SKB Tackle Box for many years and it is the best you can have for long range fishing. It's been on 15-20 trips and still looks almost new. Their tackle boxes are super strong, are well designed for keeping my tackle and additional gear safe and dry. The convenience of having a tackle box that is up to the task is important during serious bites as well as keeping everything organized. So why am I finally getting around to writing this review? There is a small strap that holds the lid from opening too wide that came apart. Not really unexpected after so many years of use. What was unexpected is that SKB is sending me a new one, free of charge, no questions asked. I highly recommend SKB products. Great gear combined with great customer service. read more

I bought my cases a while ago and met the reps at this past NAMM show and told them about my kick case falling apart And deteriorating and they said bring it in and BAM they gave me a New Case!! These guys not only do great work but their customer service is excellent and I know cuz I Do customer service! I brought in three guitar cases one was an old Fender SKB case from my 1979 Fender Stratocaster, a Fender case, and a Kramer Duke bass case missing the handle. I wanted to get keys for the two Fender cases, and a replacement handle for the Kramer case. The president, Dave, walked in and saw the old 1979 Fender case. He removed the plush insert and inspected the construction. Then he called a woman over to tell her that she probably made that case. He offered to trade it for one of the new TSA approved flight cases. He said then you'd have a case with keys to the lock. I declined since the old case had too much mojo. The other Fender case was not an SKB, but a Chinese OEM Fender knockoff. They brought me keys to try for both cases. They brought a handle and rivets for the Kramer case....all free! Great customer service! Dave said to contact him if I changed my mind about trading the old case. This sort of spirit and good will is hard to find, but exists at SKB! read more

Great customer support!!! I've never contacted SKB before, I do have several of their great cases. Everyone I talked to on the phone was polite, professional and friendly. In person it was more of the same great attitude. Everyone made me feel like my issue would be handled-no problem. And, it was! Going forward, I will only buy SKB cases for my gear. I've had the displeasure of running into companies who have stretched the meaning of "life time guarantee". apparently, "lifetime" is limited solely on how long they perceive as "long enough" not SKB. after the handle of the horn case fell off, they offered to repair it, or just replace it with a new one. but get this-- the case was from 10 years ago, but they stood behind their quality, and replaced it with a sleeker, shinier, more effective model. we need more people like Skb in the world, for the quality of customer service and pride behind their product, I'm more than willing to put down some bucks for that! read more

I had two bags fail and they replaced both of them without question. I would not hesitate to buy their product. The return procedures could not have been simpler. I called them on the phone and they asked a few questions. They then told me to stop by and ask for Henry. I walked in and asked for Henry. They said he is already on his way. I handed him the two bags and pointed out the issues. He took both of them and came back a few minutes later. He asked me for my name and number. I provided him the information then he took off again. He returned a few minutes later with two brand new cases in the box. That was it. It doesn't get much better than that. read more

I have a 1SKB-56 guitar case that I bought about 4 or 5 years ago. The handle broke and I found it had a "lifetime warranty" so I decided to find out SKB would cover it. Many companies have their own interpretation of a "lifetime". I sent them an email and they said give us your address, we'll replace it. I sent the email on Wednesday, on Friday my mailman brought the new handle free of charge. SKB knows how to "handle" a problem and keep a customer happy. I will never buy another brand case again. Had some wheels and a handle break on a case. I was going to Orange County anyway today so I figured I'd bring it by. I expected to drop the case off and have to come back and pick it up later next week after the repair, but instead I was told to wait a couple minutes and they would bring me a brand new replacement. This case is 5 or 6 years old and has seen some abuse. Top notch outfit. I wish I could give them 10 stars because they do business the right way and stand 100% behind their products. I will never own another tackle box. Some of the plastic feet on my SKB 7100 tackle box got chewed up from regular use. I emailed them and they told me to come down and they would take care of it.
