Best bang for your buck breakfast I've had so far. Most of their menu had a gf version. Cappuccino was good. Kid friendly, clean and very nice. Nothing fancy but just what you need before heading to the beach.

Very solid breakfast. Little bit of everything and loved the poached eggs. Service was good. Was in and out - just what you are looking for if you're getting breakfast. No complaints

This spot was ok. Bright and airy with plenty of seating & parking. We found the food a little bland for breakfast and expensive for what you get. My partner however did enjoy his beach skillet. The theme of skillets is also just not for me. The religious music was pretty loud and a little over bearing. Just something of note.

To be honest, while browsing Hilton Head gluten-free restaurant options, nothing really jumped out at first...so Skillet started as more of a "take what I can get" choice. But wow, glad we went. Their menu was the most eclectic I saw, gluten-free options weren't just basic boring salads or rice &meat, but full complicated meals packed with flavor, thoughtfully put together. Hubby and I split the shrimp and grits and the crab-stuffed trout. Both dishes were bursting with bold, creamy, well-balanced profiles. Every bite felt intentional and indulgent. Prices were a bit higher than our usual go-to spots, but hey, that's vacation, and this area reflects that. But here, the portions and quality absolutely matched the price tag. The standout, though? Our server. An older gentleman with genuine warmth who not only made our kids feel seen (complimenting their silly drawings and adjusting the umbrella to keep them shaded) but even sat with us for a few minutes to share his favorite vacation highlights from around the island. I joked he needed to be a Bluffton Yelp commercial. His pride in his hometown was contagious, and he truly was the charm of Skillet. Would 100% recommend. Also a fun note- across the street from the restaurant was a wonderful free sandbox where the kids and I were able to play while waiting for our table.

The food was fairly decent. It was a full breakfast/ lunch spot with a variety of choices. The fish was good and our server was pleasant. Mostly everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. If you prefer a full breakfast platter that's available too. Very casual beach feel , clean and seemed to be a popular. If you like a diner style vibe with a gift shop, then give a try.

Our food came out quickly. Everything was flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the coffee kept flowing! Whether you're starting your day early or enjoying a slow morning on Hilton Head, Skillets is the perfect spot for a relaxed and delicious breakfast.

Tucked inside a shopping complex on Hilton head is a great place for a quick lunch! Servers are styling and smiling ( liked the uniforms) The beet salad was yummy and a huge portion!! The club sandwich.? A very good choice! And the best clam chowder ever!!!

Forgot to take a pic of the food. Please enjoy this photo of the beach at Dafuskie Island instead.

Best burger ever! The pimento cheese was awesome. Great service too. Husband had an omelet and he liked it too. The fries weren't crispy enough but the burger was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

Hi Everyone, We want…read moreto first compliment Gail your host and Owner of the Jazz Corner in Hilton Head, SC for the exceptional talent she has booked over these many years in her club because it is always wonderful. That alone would be a terrific accomplishment but when it is paired with the exceptional, savory fare they offer, the combination makes for a very special event. Their grouper or steak are always exceptionally prepared and delicious and if you prefer wine or cocktails, you have some delightful offerings. The service at the bar, or a table is wonderfully pleasant and very timely in our experience which we always enjoy. We feel the star here is the Jazz as this venue is small enough to feel the music move over you, around you, and through you which is exciting and delightful. These are very talented musicians that hit all the right notes. Their side comedy is always funny as well. Our last visit was on Valentine's Day this year (2026) offered an exceptional guest trio with their Pianist's Father sitting in the audience which was very touching. In our many visits here, over our decades living here in The Low Country, the Jazz Corner has delivered an eclectic evening which is always a thrill. So if you enjoy a romantic evening out with your special someone, we can highly recommend you visit the Jazz Corner together and feel the music overtake you. Enjoy!l

The outdoor seating is a nice touch, with a mix of open-air tables and some covered spots at the bar for shade. The drink menu is decent, with plenty of tropical cocktails to choose from, though the beer selection is surprisingly limited for a place that stays this busy. Most of the service seems to run through the bar, and while the bar staff was friendly, upbeat, and doing their best despite being absolutely swamped, the table service was pretty spotty. The food menu is just okay--nothing terrible, nothing standout. I ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken sandwich at lunch, and unfortunately it did not sit well with me at all. It upset my digestive system enough to derail one of my vacation days, which definitely colored the experience. One thing that stood out was the presence of armed security guards. Not necessarily a problem, but it does create a different atmosphere than you might expect from a casual beachfront bar. Many reviews have mentioned the parking. We stayed at the hotel, so it wasn't an issue for us but somebody sitting next to me at the bar was ejected by management for something related to parking. I'm not sure of the exact details because I couldn't hear the conversation well, but it seemed to have to do with either buying or selling a parking pass with someone else. There was another incident where an unruly patron had the police called on them after engaging with one of the aforementioned security guards. That said, these seemed to be atypical of the total experience. Overall, it's an entertaining spot for drinks and music, but the unpleasant food experience land it at a middle-of-the-road three stars for me.

We came for the music, and it absolutely delivered but so did everything else. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and encouraged to slow down, relax, and truly enjoy the experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the entire evening felt special. I ordered the Duke Ellington ribeye, and without exaggeration, it was the best ribeye I have ever eaten. As ridiculous as it may sound, time seemed to stop for a moment. Every bite was packed with flavor that hit something deep inside me and took me back to simpler times. It was one of those rare meals that becomes a memory. The experience was so good it almost brought a tear to my eye. Not because it was fancy or expensive, but because the level of care, craftsmanship, and excellence put into that meal was something truly special. My wife ordered the pasta primavera and she described it as simple, light, but packed with flavor. We stayed for hours vibing to the incredible musicianship displayed. The warmth of the staff felt like family. Wish we were local so we could make this a regular date night spot. Thank you for an unforgettable evening. We'll be talking about it for a long time.

Cover charge, no problem. The evening started out with great entertainment. A total of 5 tables were occupied, besides our table. At least 30 minutes to get drink orders. 2.5 hours later all of us did not have our food. The owner kept going to all of the tables besides ours and talking to patrons. We were ignored. No shrimp. Ribs went sour (whatever that means). No drink refills, didn't even ask. I would have expected the owner to come by our table and give some explanation of what was going on. Nothing. The people that did get their food said it was delicious. I suggest if you go, do it for the music and fun atmosphere and only order drinks. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.
