Terrific breakfast place with a great patio dining area (Super safe during this pandemic). Outstanding breakfast choices, with THE BEST BACON in town. Fabulous omelets, incredible freshly made scones, and excellent cheese blintzes (not frozen - made fresh). The pancakes & waffles are average, but their real maple syrup makes up for it. Their service is first rate, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. Easy parking is a new neighborhood shopping plaza (Lely Resort location). Excellent experience!! Stopped in at 8:30am Saturday. We were seated immediately, nice booth. Place was spotless, impeccable attention to cleanliness. Our table of 3 ordered biscuits and gravy, grits, plain pancakes, Denver skillet and French toast. Everything was SO good, quality food and super tasty. I get an order of pancakes at every diner/restaurant we visit and these were the best pancakes I've ever had. Even beats the hubby's, don't tell him. Delicious and great portions. The avocado eggs Benedict was soooooo good. The hash browns were awesome bc they had some sort of cream cheese in them. And the pecan cinnamon French toast was the cherry on the top. Enjoyed sitting on the patio and our service was great! Would recommend removing some of the stuff on the tables--there was every condiment and then some that you would think of and there was like no room for our plates (1st world problems I know...). Beware if you order togo!!! You more thank likely will not receive the extra items you payed for. For instance extra sides of eggs or meat, or anything you may need to enjoy your meal and the extra money payed for those items. When I called to let them know I'm missing items from my order, I was told it was though Uber so there's nothing she can do. I told her I understand that but what you can do is your job correctly by looking at the ticket and making sure the items are in the order. I'm paying extra for addition items and not receiving them constantly to the point were Uber flagged my account thinking I'm lying. That's why I decided to call the restaurant directly. The young lady also stated that their location is the busiest in Naples... which I quickly said never too busy to do your job correctly. If that's the case you might need to find a new job. I work in this industry and I have never used that excuse to not fully perform at the level I'm getting paid for. This is a constant issue here... and it's really upsetting because the food is good if you receive it!! read more

The service was very good. The waiter was attentive and prompt. The food wasn't very good. I did enjoy the pancakes. The eggs and the potatoes were very bland, having no taste at all. Even adding salt and pepper didn't help. I regrettably cannot recommend. read more

We had a very good breakfast at Skillets. Sherry was our waitress. She was friendly, efficient, and welcomed us which is not common in Naples. They have a large menu and lots of vegetarian options. The portions sizes were large and the homemade scone was yummy. We really liked sitting outside under a shade roof. Overall, a great experience !! read more

YUM! I had the bacon avocado skillet and each bite tasted different and delicious. Bacon was cooked to perfection and the potatoes were creamy and crunchy at the same time. They gave me a side scone (you have a choice of toast, biscuit, or scone of the day) and fruit! Strawberry's, grapes, and pineapple. The scone of the day was cranberry orange and it was served warm. As a coffee drinker, I always appreciate that after the give you you're coffee that they leave a carafe for you. Great service! Will be back next time in Florida. read more

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and thought this place was really cute! The interior decor is very southern country kitchen, but we sat outdoors on the patio which was covered and hidden from the sun. I ordered the potato eggers skillet which came with your choice of a scone, toast, and another option that is slipping my mind. I chose the scone, which was raisin for that day. I also had one chocolate chip pancake cause I wanted something sweet. The skillet was perfectly portioned and came with a small side of fresh fruit (pineapple, strawberry, and grapes). The scone was a little too crunchy for my liking but it was sweet. I loved the pancake too, it was full of many chocolate chips. Nice spot to get breakfast in the area. If I could give negative stars for this place, I totally would. The service was horrendous, the eggs were old and reheated like somebody else's leftovers, the fruit was not even ripe~white strawberries~, the bacon had been previously cooked and rubbery.....nothing looked even similar to the pictures in the menu. This place was alright! Came here with my family of 7 for breakfast. Really popular on Sunday mornings and an expected wait time of about 30 minutes. The bacon and corn beef hash was amazing!! The grits were not good, especially if you're used to southern grits. Banana- Pecan pancakes were alright, not the best I've had. The service was great overall. read more

Cross this one off your list. They've always been a bit pricey, but service and quality have declined below that if cheap breakfast places. But we needed to have breakfast quickly and this place was closest to home. #1 - First waitress takes drink order....then another waitress comes by for our drink order and takes it again. Drops off a carafe of water that we say we don't need and she leaves it there anyway. Gets the drink order wrong for two adults and two kids. #2 We get our breakfast and the adults each get one slice of toast (kind of odd, but ok), and my toast is perfect on one side and not toasted on the other. Guess which side was up on my plate. My wife's toast was good on one side and burnt in the other. Again, guess which side was up. When she comes back I point out the toast and she goes and gets two more slices that are toasted correctly. #3. I ordered a French Omelette, which was good except that the sun dried tomato hollandaise is just regular hollandaise. I didn't comment because it is obvious that the cook didn't care. #4. We finish and go up front to pay. The hostess asks how are meal was and I tell her it was a pretty poor effort by the kitchen. She whispers very quietly, "Sorry." And that's it. I stand there while she continues to take my credit card in silence and then finally say, "I can tell you're really concerned." To which she looks up and says, "Well, what do you want me to do about it? I'm only the hostess!" My response, "Then why did you ask?" An even snarkier, "Do you want to see the manager?" Nope. I'm done with this place. Crappy food....Crappy service....Go elsewhere! read more

First morning on my trip here we decided to stop by Skillets before we headed to the beach. Upon pulling in to the parking lot this place looked promising. The menu looked delicious with lots of options. It was your typical breakfast though. The highlight was the hash browns/potatoes they serve here, It's casserole style and the corned beef was served on top of a bed of them. The french toast is pretty gross. It has a thin layer of egg on each side of the bread. The waiter seemed to notice I did not like them and asked me and i told her it was actually gross to which she was surprised. I dont know if it's a staple here but it's weird, never seen a layer of omlette-like eggs on french toast. read more

Waitresses were wrapping silverware with napkins and throwing silverware around while talking about drinking too much tequila the night before And locking themselves out of the house. Relaxing? NOT!!!!!!! Breakfast sandwich was okay but available only on the Plain bagel no other bagels exists evidently. Asked for potatoes well done but they were badly undercooked. Coffee is excellent, always fresh never burnt. A no atmosphere cafeteria with okay food and below average service. The service was good but a found a hair in my meal and the server got my boyfriends order wrong. In the end she tried to make it right but insinuated that I she understands If I don't want to order anything else which I kinda found off putting since I was hungry. I have been craving sausage and gravy/ biscuits. my one day a week to get out while a volunteer watches my husband for 2-hrs. he didn't get there in time for me to get to Hoot's, which has wonderful sausage gravy/biscuits.//the gravy at Skillets is homemade, but it was gross - sweet, with no sausage flavoring at all. I want to start by saying the staff was absolutely amazing. They were kind and efficient! The food was also incredible. But the dishes and cups were dirty. There was old food crusted onto 3 of our glasses and there was food crusted on a few plates as well. I also found a hair in my food. Our waitress Laura was amazing! She was prompt and very friendly. I enjoyed my meal a lot and so did my husband! We both had different skillets. This review hurts me to write since I have always raved about the other Skillets location to my friends and family - their potatoes baked with cream cheese are the best ever. I went two days in a row this week and both days were a but disappointing. The first day I ordered eggs "over medium" and they came out rock hard. A side of sausage costs nearly FIVE DOLLARS and I had two medium sized links on my plate. The second day I was disappointed to have found out that they offer the following cheese for omelettes: cheddar, cheddar, and more cheddar. Nonetheless my ham and CHEDDAR omelette came out tasteless and with the cheese barely melted. The potatoes were barely warner than room temperature, and you have to get up to ask for butter for the warm bread they call toast. Not impressed - at all. The restaurant was not busy, it was 9:30am, and they lack the "welcoming" feeling. read more
