Food was great, the strawberry scone was amazing. Service was very good. Place has a homey vibe and certainly a favorite among locals.

Whenever I'm in Naples, I look forward to breakfast at Skillets! I travel constantly for work, and am always on the hunt for a delicious, unpretentious breakfast spot and Skillets fits the bill perfectly. The service is always some of the friendliest I've had anywhere, and the environment is bright and comfortable-- a great place to begin the day! Today I had their stone ground whole wheat waffle with berries, and their scone of the day (chocolate chip). Both were excellent! I'm looking forward to my next breakfast here, which will likely be tomorrow!

Skillets is the first breakfast spot I went to in Naples. I heard good things about this place and decided to go. I noticed the restaurant did not serve their food in skillets. I personally think that is a marketing misstep. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and helpful. We ordered pancakes with chicken sausage and potato skillet with grits on the side. The pancakes were flavorless and the chicken sausage was disappointing. I don't think I will be back to this restaurant and definitely do not recommend.

I have nothing bad to say. I wanted breakfast tacos, but apparently I was being too demanding. While I was pouting, fam decided on this place. Let's start with service. Absolutely the nicest people on earth! Food is freaking amazing! (Shhhh ... still milking it ). The portions are giant size!!! I wish I could think of another word besides tasty. That's lame. Biggest thing that shows their quality, in their fruit cup, no soft grapes!

Me and my mother walked here and met up with my brothers and their friend for breakfast. Such a wide variety of food and every single thing looked amazing! Our waiter was super friendly, welcoming, and willing to help anytime! (Gave him a great tip) We got a seat outside and it was a great place to eat. I got the turkey energy wrap in the picture below and it was so filling I couldn't finish the other half so I took it to go. It was wonderful! I will definitely be coming back again and trying out another meal.

I placed an order in the website to take out. The parking lot is a little challenging, since there was no parking available close to the restaurant . The order was on time. Everything was in the bag, utensils , condiments and napkins. Great presentation. The food taste delicious. Thank you

In town for a conference and decided to leave the resort and try a local spot. Arrived here at Skillets for a quick breakfast and was disappointed. First off the service was great and the waitress was very cordial. I ordered the pancakes with bacon, eggs and a side of cheese grits. Nothing had flavor...I repeat nothing had flavor. The eggs tasted like the eggs I'd eaten when I was in the Marine Corps...you know the powder stuff they mix. The pancakes were fried hard, which had nice crunch but the inside was kinda mushy. The grits were cooked perfectly except, there was not even a pinch of salt for taste. The bacon and side of fruit were ok which was to be expected. All in all it was a one time dining experience.

Google knew it though and the diner showed up when I asked for 'restaurants near me'. This diner is right off Tamiami Trail, a place where many good restaurants are located. Since we got there early, dining was set up for outside, but the great spring weather makes eating outdoors a fun experience. After entering the restaurant, we ordered our food and sat down. There wasn't a long wait for lunch, we got fed quickly and everything was good. The menu is the same as the restaurant at Founders Square, with salads, bowls, a good variety of handhelds, kids options and lots of sides. They even have rotisserie chicken, prime rib and miso salmon, for when you want a little extra. The Parque Del Lago taco salad and California panini looked interesting, but hubs went with the grilled Mahi sandwich and I decided on the classic burger. We both got an order of those addictive sweet potato fries! Service is friendly, the restaurant is clean and welcoming and we'll definitely be back for another lunch in the future.

Naturally smoked turkey with brie, pesto mayo, and tomato jam on gluten free bread, served with a fresh Caesar salad. Pretty good sandwich. The turkey was flavorful, the bread held up nicely, and the salad was crisp with a good coating of parmesan. Decent value for what you get. My wife ordered the fish tacos, which came with a side salad topped with blue cheese crumbles and red onion. The presentation looked great with nice char on the fish, fresh pico, and shredded cabbage piled high. But the execution fell short. The fish itself was chewy and not very tender. That's a problem when fish tacos are one of your popular dishes. On the bright side, our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints on the service front. The cozy atmosphere lives up to the farm to table vibe they're going for. The Verdict: The Local delivers a decent lunch with good service and fresh ingredients. My smoked turkey sandwich hit the spot, but those fish tacos need work. Four stars for a solid overall experience, but maybe skip the tacos next time.

The menu has lots of appetizers, a few salads, entrees, sandwiches and specialties as well as desserts, I settled on the baked penne. Food arrived timely and looked great. For me, the baked penne was too cheesy with not enough sauce. I was disappointed since every description of their sauce made it sound so good, so I feel like I missed out. While here, my wife and I both ordered some smoothies. I can't recall the ones we had but they were memorable because we have always said, "next time back in Naples, we are returning here". A year later, we kept to our word and returned.... still delicious. Now it's been quite a few years since our last visit; even the location of the smoothie shop/stand was relocated but I had no worries the smoothies would still be great. No one was in line but we also noticed no one at the counter taking orders or making smoothies... no big deal, we waited for a moment. Now others are in line behind us and my wife was going to walk over to the main store and ask if anyone is available but then a girl appeared from a door to a back area.... With about 8 other people behind us at this point she didn't even acknowledge the line... the lady behind us yelled if anyone was able to take an order. She gestured one moment with her hands but was cutting fruit. Another girl came into the smoothie shop and also did not acknowledge the line.... With 8 other people in line, the lady behind us gave up and walked away. We were going to yell over to the girls (both cutting and/or prepping something else) but we were just annoyed at this point and figured it's just not worth it.
