We went early on a Tuesday night. We were greeted and sat very quickly. Drinks were brought out. Waitress is friendly. Mys husband ordered the yakisoba, i did their szechuan beef and my daughter ordered a chicken tempera roll. We did hot and sour soup, miso and a order of beef negimaki. Did a couple rolls of Tuna and seared tuna. The soups were good, both had good flavor. The negimaki was a good choice. We enjoyed it. The waitress brought out our rolls and apologized saying it appears they added avocado to my tuna roll and that she would be happy to have them remake it. I told it was fine since it was already hereand I dont mind it. Half way through it, our brains turned on again, and realized the seared tuna had the avocado (whixh was the roll my husband ordered). At that point i felt bad for eating half his roll. Sadly my husbands adventure for good yakisoba will have to continue. While it was not bad, it was not his experience of the perfect yakisoba. My beef was good, but definitely not spicy at all despite the two red peppers in it. I would say it was more like sweet and sour profile.

This is a neighborhood spot for me with a really great location. Some positives: -The food is presented really beautifully. Every plate that is delivered to the table is stunning. -The food quality seems to be on par with most sushi restaurants in the area -The service is always pleasant Some negatives : -The pricing is quite high compared to other sushi, restaurants nearby of a similar caliber -The menu is very long and can be confusing -The menu has changed multiple times in small periods of time, so the experience is very inconsistent I've enjoyed my meals here, but I would likely choose a different restaurant if I was picking.

The SERVICE here is out of this world! The food is to die for. We came here from out of town for our family members college graduation celebration dinner. We had a large party of 20 and they accommodated us no problem. We had a wonderful time, the crab Rangoon were super yummy. We really liked the sake they recommended. Destinie and Carrie were absolute rock stars. They even did graduation decor on the dessert plate, it was so cute!!! And I was so impressed with the owner. He introduced himself, his name is Tim. He was jumping in and helping everywhere. When he asked if I wanted anything, I said I had been waiting on a beer, he went and got it for me right away. I'm telling you, all around couldn't have been happier, and we will 100% be back and are already excited about our next visit.

This was the first restaurant I went to when I was apartment hunting for clinicals years ago and I still come whenever I visit. First of all, they have a huge parking lot so you will have no problem finding somewhere to park. The place has changed slightly over the years, but it's still good. The value of the food is decent because the portions are very generous. I always have takeout that lasts at least one more meal. The music is always loud, but it's fun to come with groups. The service is decent. But keep in mind, they can get busy so you'll need to be patient with your server. The sushi I always get is the North Castle. The tuna is yummy and has a lil crunch from the tempura. The tuna and avocado is fresh. The chicken tempura never disappoints. It's crunchy and delicious. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the vegetable tempura. It did not have the same crunch of tempura. First time I have seen the lo mein at this visit and we were surprised on how much was given! Not a bad thing at all. It smelled delicious. It had great amount of veggies and the chicken in jt was great. If you're in the area and like Asian food, want to get your sushi fix or are looking for somewhere to meet up with a group of friends or coworkers, please check it out!

Let me start with our server, she is a diamond. Super nice and attentive. The quality of food was really good. The appetizer portions are on the very small side. The sushi was excellent. The hibachi dish was ok. Their sushi would be the main reason I would definitely come back for.

The restaurant had plant light fixtures, we opted for a booth seat. The food was better than I expected. I loved the presentation. The plate was $17 for a lunch special. The waitress was okay.

My family and I went here for Mother's day and it was a very enjoyable experience! Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They even had a free drink special for mom's which was super sweet. The food was excellent - great shashimi, wonderful appetizers, and really good miso soup-- and the patio is a great place to relax when the weather is right. Highly recommend this business!

They hired a new sushi chef from Long Island and got new fresh fancy types of sushi in. I have never had such great sushi in all of the Dayton. If you liked this place before you will love it. It was like eating sushi in NY city!

Had a wonderful dinner with great sushi and service. The rice was particularly memorable! You can tell the ingredients are high quality and expertly prepared. Definitely go and enjoy the environment. It would be 5 stars but the spicy tuna did not have much tuna flavor.

Hands down the best sushi in Dayton and freshest fish. If you haven't tried their Thursday Omakase it is incredible. Everything from the selection of fish to the actual plates were so thoughtfully planned. The owners and staff are incredible.

Arguably, pound for pound, the best restaurant in Kettering... Sky is simply outstanding... The restaurant is meticulously designed, super clean, impeccable service, and the food never disappoints - It's easy to see that this place is superbly managed/run. Sky is as close to authentic Japanese cuisine as you're going to find in Southern Ohio. We generally get the Bento boxes, but this time got a couple appetizers, seaweed salad, and a few sushi rolls - As always, everything was phenomenal.

Very good. They seem a little unorganized when you eat there at peak hours but the food is great.

I have never been handed the ordering pad to confirm my order like I worked there enough to really interpret the system menu - and still they managed to get my order wrong... then they never brought me the a cup of water to drink with my meal. Oh they forgot my spoon to use to eat my soup.... never came back to check in for me to ask for either of those things. Second- the food quality. It is not even close to old akashi. Anyone who has ever had fatty tuna.. knows those things melt in your mouth. The one today? Fishy taste and poorly cut (it was tough to chew and stringy). The 20 dollar wooguhji? The barest of soups.. barely any cabbage or egg... it was sad. Lastly store appearance. Their bathroom give me icks.. the mirror was so greased streaky.. ugh. We wont be back for a long time, if ever again honestly. And anyone who eats sushi... your sushi plate that is served never looks.... questionable. This was a first for me. And the whole time there was only one or two other parties in the building at a time. It was basically dead for a dinner hour.

We love sushi - travel all the way to columbus just to have some from the unofficial "japantown" at kenny center Upon arrival at 2 pm, not super busy but the store appeared bright and well decorated. We were directed to pick our preferred seating. Menus were brough quickly, drink orders we taken and brought out quickly. Sprites, came with a cup of ice. This was were it went downhill. My husband is allergic to shellfish, and we eat out understanding there is a chance of cross contamination based on what we order. He had a mild reaction - we determined his reaction was from the glass with ice, which indicates it was not washed well. Not a good sign... We ordered house lo mein, king salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, tuna roll, and one chicken and vegetable hibachi. Sushi? The rice was long grain and unseasoned... it fell apart as my husband picked it up. The fish was.. ok.. not wowed. Even the king salmon was...just salmon and not anything amazing. My tuna roll never made it. My husband said this was the first time he had bitter ginger... he spat that back out - ginger is suppose to be a palate cleanser... Lo mein? Was ok. It was not greasy, which is what I usually encounter. Noodles were soft, but ok. Flavor.. lacking.. and there was a notcieable amount of sauce at the bottom.. so it was too runny. The hiabachi? The fried rice, saddest fries rice ever. It was hard middle and .. flavor was offputting.. this is coming from a girl that was raised to eat rice everyday in many forms. I love durian, and this rice manage to offput me.... the flavor was just weird. The hibachi chicken and veggies were the best part..sauce flavor was great and the veggies were cooked very well and chicken was juicy. So overall... would not recommend due to cleanliness (based on contact contamination from a cup) and... food was just meh

First impressions weren't great. The restaurant itself is small but clean, and I was greeted quickly, so the service side was fine. Unfortunately, the food didn't really match that same positive start. The fried rice looked and tasted pretty bland on opening--definitely needed extra seasoning. The General Tso's was okay, but nothing really stood out overall. The one highlight for me was definitely the crab rangoons. They were crispy, cooked well, and honestly the only thing I fully enjoyed. If I go back, that's probably all I'd order again. I tried adding soy sauce and the red sauce they include, which helped a bit, but it still didn't fully bring the meal together. Interestingly, after letting the leftovers sit overnight in the fridge, the flavors seemed to come out more and it tasted better the next day than fresh. Overall, I'd give it 2/5 stars. Not my favorite experience, but I might give them one more try in the future, mainly just for the crab rangoons.
