Clean, cheerful, tiny (only two tables) restaurant with very good Vietnamese food. In Stillwater! Yay! This is primarily a takeout place but if there are just a few in your party you can eat in. Hubby and I have now eaten Vietnamese food here several times: eggrolls, seafood pho, and several variations of noodle salad--mock duck, pork, eggroll. Service was quick and friendly, and prices are reasonable. The eggrolls were amazing, super-hot, crispy, and flavorful. My only complaint was that some of my pork was a little gristly. The mock duck is the best I've ever eaten, with a smoky component that's ultra-flavorful and satisfying. The Chinese food is a little less successful. Moo shi pork was tasty but it came with frozen commercial pancakes that were dry and fell apart when we tried to wrap them. Cashew chicken was pretty generic American-Chinese with lots of celery. Boo hiss. Lo mein was good. Stick with the Vietnamese food and this place is a winner. read more

Enjoyed a delightful takeout meal with the family tonight. We shared pork fried rice, chicken and broccoli, beef and green beans along with egg rolls and cheese wontons. Definitely my favorite Asian restaurant in Oak Park Hights. There two other places close by and I don't like either of them. This place also has EXCELLENT Vietnamese egg rolls. My Grandma prefers Vietnamese egg rolls and she really like them. There have been a few time we have called and they weren't open during normal Business hours. I get sad about it only because I really like this place and wanted eat there. But I completely understand this is a small family business and things happen! Definitely give this place a try! My fiancé and I have ordered takeout from Sky Dragon probably once every other week (sometimes every week) since we moved to Stillwater in feb of 2020. We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! The owners are so friendly and wonderful! JoJo always remembers our "usual" orders, even when it has been several months since we have been there. The food is outstanding--so fresh, great quality meats, and huge portions for a great price. There are only 2 tables, but when we eat in they are so attentive! Our 13 and 16 yr old kids adore it and always choose Sky Dragon for their birthday meals. Last night our son was given a free piece of birthday cake and one for his sister, too. Food was ok. Order wasn't ready until 15 mins after we arrived which was 10 min after ordering online. Orange chicken mostly batter and soggy. Vietnamese egg rolls great, cream cheese puffs great. Overall an average rating but we have had better when place was Mr Chows. Need to reduce the batter on the sesame and orange chicken and fry crispier. I may try the non battered versions like sezchuan chicken or garlic chicken. Price wasn't too bad for the portion sizes either. Will give it another try. read more

Recently, I enjoyed a dinner at Sky Dragon with my Mom. We had several selections from the menu; wontons, fresh spring rolls, kung pao chicken (my favorite), and orange chicken. The food was delicious!!! The wontons have a tasty, light crust, and our main courses were both flavorful and fresh. Jojo, our host and the restaurant's manager, is warm and welcoming, and ensured we had everything we needed. The fried rice accompanying our main courses was well-prepared, being flavorful and light. The kung paid chicken rivals any that I've eaten at other restaurants- just the right mixture of chicken, peppers, and spice. This restaurant is my main stay - both for takeout and dining in. If you are there for lunch, their pho is a great choice as well. High marks for every detail on our dinner here! read more

Will not be returning to this restaurant. Ordered a few Vermicelli Noodle Salads for takeout. Informed the person on the phone to not add peanut on three out of five of the Vermicelli Noodle Salads due to allergies. After picking up the Vermicelli Noodle Salads we noticed all five of the Noodle Salads had peanuts in it. I than recalled back to get three of the Noodle Salads replaced. After a 30 minute drive, around trip back to the location we were at I than noticed that they for the replacement orders incorrect. It wasn't Vermicelli Salad anymore, 1/3 of the container holding the so called Vermicelli Salad had water in it and the noodles had mushy feel to it. Yes, you might have to wait a few extra minutes than a fast-food joint, but if you want fresh,made-to-order cuisine, then this is no wait at all.
