I will give 0 star if I could…read more Don't use it unless you want to keep it forever, it's super hard to cancel and no refunds for any service you paid but not used, and you have to ship back equipments at your own cost. The whole cancellation experience was terrible and painful. They made me waited for several hours for a callback. Then they asked me tons of questions why to cancel and tried to make you not to cancel with some offers sound like sales trap. When I finally cancelled, they asked me shipped back equipments and I have to PAY shipping fee myself and ship it to some other state. That's ridiculous, have never seen any companies do that when they have a local store. Furthermore, they don't refund any monthly fee even if I cancelled on the first day of billing and they know I am canceling. Also I didn't use the phone at all but they charged me monthly fee for $10. For the TV I paid $60 per year and shows are very out of date, youtube has more shows than it. I paid till sep 2023, they don't refund or allow me to use it until that day like other streaming companies. In sum, STAY AWAY from this company, they don't tell you anything about cancellation when you first subscribe and the monthly fee increases after first year. They told me tv was free when I first subscribed, guess what, $60 every year after first year.

Moises, the installer, arrived on time and did the entire installation himself in about 4 hours. He first set up a temporary antenna to check the download and upload speeds. Our speed was even better than what they had quoted. Once the antenna was set up on our roof, a cable is then connected to an outlet in our house. Once we set up our routers, everything worked seamlessly. Moises didn't leave until we confirmed that all of our devices were connected. If you live in the Fremont or neighboring areas, I highly recommend Tekify for your internet service.

The girl on the phone was very rude and when I tried to cancel the service she claims the contract forbids it, when Direct TV's policy clearly states the customer can cancel within 30 days if the hardware is returned, minus a $50 de-installation fee. I signed up for Dish Network for two years with Jade Star after seeing their ad in a Chinese magazine. Jade Star told me $10 would be credited to my account by Dish every month as they advertised. After a few months not seeing the credit on my bill, I called Dish Network. They said they did not know anything about the credit and they would contact Jade star. After a while, I contacted Dish again, they said the code that Jade Star gave them was not valid and I would have to take that up with Jade Star. I contacted Jade Star several times, first they said Dish would mail me the check after 1 year (which supposed to be June 2014.) Then they said September, then October, 2014, still no check. I then realized it was just one lie after another. Called them again on 11/7/2014, they told me to email them a copy of the latest statement and they would forward it to Dish Network and I should be receiving a check in two weeks. I just emailed this to them and I am not keeping my hope up. The next step for me will be taking them to court and filing a complaint with the District Attorney's office and the Better Business Bureau. By the way, when you sign up for either Direct TV or Dish Network with Jade Star, they have their own contractor do the installation and they give you refurbished cable boxes. Guess who will be responsible for the repair or replacement of the box if that box fails.
