When he went to get my pizza out of the oven, he wiped his hand on a rag used to clean the counters, then swiped the counter with it. He picked up the pizza server and retrieved my pizza from the oven with that so that was ok because he didn't touch my slice. He gave it to me and said nothing. He left the slice in too long and burned it. At first I though it would be all right since I like my pizza crispy. I was really hungry too so that was a factor as well. After eating several bites I decide it was burnt and not very good. He shouldn't have served it like that. See attached picture. If you want to eat burnt pizza, from a dirty place, with unfriendly service, then definitely try A Slice of Italy. You shouldn't be disappointed!

The staff apologized and offered to rush our order by moving it ahead of the others already being prepared, but by that point we had already been waiting 40 minutes, had children waiting in the car, and it was getting late. We ultimately canceled the order and requested a refund. This experience wasn't about the employees, they were courteous and tried to make it right. The issue was the lack of a reliable backup process for a known system problem, which created an avoidable inconvenience for both customers and staff.
