This place is great! I have been to the location in Noblesville but this is a great spot downtown! We went on a Sunday and it was perfect because parking was free right outside the restaurant. The place looks great and is great for dining in. My wife and I started with the Lobster dip! It was a great way to start the meal and the homemade chips are really tasty. I got the fish and chips sandwich and it was so large and amazing! The fish was perfectly fried and the sauce on it is to die for! I asked for extra and used it all! The homemade fires are also very very good! I had so much food I ended up taking a whole piece of fish home since the sandwich comes with 2 pieces of fish. This was one of the few restaurants that offered outdoor seating and was open on Memorial Day, so I, along with my wife, daughter and five-year old granddaughter, drove here from West Lafayette for dinner. We all had a good meal, despite the fact that I don't like seafood. This is an interesting place. You order your food inside from a counter, and it is then served to you at your table (although you take out your napkins and cutlery, as well as your beverage, which comes from a machine inside). It's not a large or fancy place by any means, and in fact there are only two tables available for outside dining (one seating two people, one seating three; we stole a chair from the smaller table and converted the other one into a rather crowded table for four) , both of them kind of crammed together on a smallish patio. My wife and daughter both had lobster rolls. As side dishes, my wife had a salad and my daughter had tortilla chips. I had a cheeseburger (which for some reason doesn't show up on the menu) and my granddaughter had a plain hamburger. We both had fries on the side. The lobster rolls were big hits with the adult women in the group. Both my wife and daughter have spent a lot of time in Maine and they compared the lobster rolls favorably with ones that they have eaten there. My cheeseburger was pretty tasty but nothing especially memorable. The fries, however, were much better than average. On the basis of food taste alone, I would have been sorely tempted to give this restaurant five stars instead of four, but I did think that the food items were a bit overpriced and the portions not terribly large. The lobster rolls were 26 dollars each and neither my wife nor daughter got leftovers from them. (The rolls themselves looked pretty big but I gather there wasn't a huge amount of lobster in them.) My cheeseburger was also a bit on the small side and did not yield leftovers. (I almost always take home half a burger for lunch the next day.) On the basis of this, and the fact that the menu didn't list all the items available (I only knew they served cheeseburgers because I called up the restaurant and asked what non-seafood items were available), I'll give the restaurant four stars. But this was a successful meal and I would be willing to go back (although the presence of my son-in-law, who was out of town this time, will complicate eating outdoors). read more

The side salad had thin sliced radish, carrot, cucumber, spinach, cherry tomato, Romaine and cabbage shreds. A nice creamy vinaigrette added a bite of acidity. Yummy! My coworker and I had been dying to try this place!!!! Let's start with the pros! The atmosphere was very modern & fun. We loved that they followed COVID guidelines: all the tables were social distanced & everyone had on masks. We had an server was fantastic!!!! It occupies the previous home of Louie's Wine Dive and has been fixed up with some booths and a take out counter to order at. It looks like there is still some work to do with missing vent covers, burnt out bulbs, etc. From anything I head about this spot I knew I had to try to Lobster Roll and it is FIVE STARS . It's fresh and flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The seafood knocked it out of the park and I would absolutely come back for that. Unfortunately that's about where they stop knocking it out of the park. The fries I had were limp and seasoned slightly sweet. Luckily they have an amazing tarter sauce that I was able to coat them in. Personally I would prefer something with a little crunch, but to each their own. Our server was friendly and helpful, but didn't know market price of fish, cost of drinks, when they opened, etc. the drink menu has some unique cocktails but doesn't list any pricing. We all got cocktails and we're surprised that they didn't garnish anything. It may have been the first time we got a vodka soda that didn't come with lime haha. A little disappointed- I went for lunch during Devour Indy but they didn't seem to be offering the menu. I asked and was looked at strangely. First, I was surprised at the number of delicious ingredients that came in the salad. This was not just lettuce and a few wilted tomatoes. I won't go crazy with the details on just a side salad but I will leave at, it was top notch and well beyond what I expected. The lobster roll was over stuffed full of seasoned lobster that was tender and succulent. The roll was buttery and just as delicious, it was the perfect compliment of the stack of lobster claw meat. I was one of the lucky ones who received a free meal from Slapfish as part of their Yelp Elite week. My partner and I came in around 3PM on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet. We were able to walk right up to the counter and order. I could not decide what I wanted to order because everything looked and sounded so good. Eventually, I decided on the surf n turf burger with chowder fries. My partner got the fish tacos, and we also ordered a watermelon mojito and a pineapple margarita. We sat down in the bar area and our drinks came out quickly, with our food just a few minutes behind. The pineapple margarita was delicious. It had a really good pineapple flavor without being too sweet. I hardly have words for the food. The surf n turf burger was exactly what I would have dreamed for it to be. There were nice chunks of seafood and the burger was cooked perfectly. I so badly wanted to eat the entire thing because it was one of the best tasting meals I have had since quarantine, but it is a really filling burger! Add the chowder fries (chowder, bacon, and the slapfish sauce) and you are in for the best ride toward a food coma. I had to take a bite of my partner's fish tacos, of course. She really liked them. And I can see why, the fish was very fresh. I'm not sure how, but it tasted like a meal from the coast. I am already thinking about what I will get when I come back. This location in particular also has a full bar and was offering some seasonal cocktails when we last visited. During covid they've got additional outdoor seating (both covered and uncovered). We've been to every since coast in the United states and have had some truly amazing seafood. This place is very fresh. Their lobster roll looks great and is compartively priced with Caplingers (best seafood in town) and both the west and east coast. We had the lobster bites as an app but it took a very long time for our app to come out, and a long time for our food. It was valentines day but it didn't seem as busy as other places we've been to on this holiday. We did like that for that day they had romantic movies on their televisions and not sports. Our server was sweet but she almost charged us for the wrong table and seemed a bit flustered. Still she was trying. It was more an issue in the kitchen that for whatever reason, they decided to change the oil in the fryer in the middle of dinner service which is a horrible idea. I had sweet potato fries in my order and the lobster bites were fried so that was the holdup.
