Ordered food via Yelp, (Monday evening for dinner) April 28th, 2025, around 9pm. Yelp reported the establishment as "open" during the time of purchase, and WOULD be open until 10:30pm.... Plenty of time, right? "Slices and More" took the money ($48) .... Completed the financial transaction.... But upon arrival at the restaurant location at 9:30pm, I found the establishment closed, with no visible employees. I have tried 4 different phone attempts at a refund.... I never received the food that I ordered, and paid for. Today is May 9th, 2025. I have been getting countless ridiculous runaround's with this company. I've left my phone number, and have waited 5 days for a reply..... nothing. Called a fourth time today, same runarounds, manager is never available, not attempts to return calls to frustrated customers. $49 is $49, however the principal, this company choosing to not work with a customer, clearly displays the lack of respect and care for the customer. Two weeks is a loooooong time to request a refund on a food transaction. Maybe this company needs a bit of a revamp on its true mission and vision.... At this rate, you creating disgruntled customers is dangerous. read more

I've been coming to this pizza spot since moving to upper Darby 4 years ago. From delivery, pickup, to stopping in for a slice they have remained extremely consistent over the years. I've recommended to friends & they've all been pleased. This is one of 2 places I order pizza from, (the other is colonial kitchen). Good eats in this area are hard to come by but they get it right. Tonight a friend of mine ordered a supreme pizza & he said it was really good, they didn't skimp on the toppings (see photo) and it was very fresh. I really enjoyed their pizza. But the last time I called in an order which was a white vegetable pizza. He read me omg order back. (By the way was correct) I picked up the pizza I never looked at the pizza until I got home and it had marinara sauce on it. I called because it was an error with my pizza and the guy that answered the phone were was trying to argue with me about my order. Which I never had a problem paying for a new pizza. As a devought pizza lover this place has fairy tasting pizza with a wide variety of flavors/slices. However the food or quality of food is not what this review is about. It is about the customer service experience or lack there of. I came in with a co-worker picked a slice and we both paid at two separate times. The African gentleman at the counter got confused and thought that I skipped out on paying and started screaming I didn't pay after I exited the store. I returned and he was angry asking me why I didn't pay for the pizza. I looked at the woman I paid, she looked just as confused as I did. She eventually calmed him down and confirmed I did pay. However he had already made a scene AND didn't even care to apologize. Good food, bad good customer service is EVERYTHING! I won't be back. read more

Very unfulfilling. Simply put, below average Pepper Onion Steak, and the hot wings were akin to the microwaveable/frozen wings that you'd find in a Family Dollar. I requested very crispy and it was the opposite, and bad! Cashier seemed half asleep as well, or that her life completely sucked, which was a downer to see. I WISH I could give this place MINUS stars!!! The poor cashier did not know what a vinagrette was and could not count and gave my friend the incorrect change. The most EGREGIOUS thing happened when I witnessed the cook take RAW chicken wings out the bay marie using his gloved hands, dropped them in the fryer and went BACK to making my chicken gyro while wearing the SAME GLOVES! He countinued to prep, cook and plate orders and even walked around the restaurant touching door frames and door knobs ALL while wearing the SAME GLOVES! It was not until he went to smoke that he removed his gloves! Needless to say, I DID NOT eat my food and will NEVER, EVER dart the door of this hole-in-the-wall again! read more

Every Friday I go into 69th street with my kids. I will get them French fries. I've ordered French fries 3 times in the past two of the three times they messed up. The first time they made a mistake they made cheese fries. I told them I did not order that I ordered French fries. He started to argue with me and then called to the guy to make another batch. Now mind you cheese fries are more money than regular fries and he never offered to give me the difference back. But yet I see him eating the fries. A couple of weeks later I order two large fries. In front of him I ask my kids do you want cheese they both said NO I said I want two large French fries NO CHEESE. I stressed this because of the last time I was in there. I repeated it he said no cheese I said that is correct NO CHEESE!! After waiting 10-15 minutes he hands me the bag n I see cheese on the container like they dropped it I said also these have cheese in them? He says yes YOU ordered that. I said no I did not and he says "come on I was right here you ordered them". I said I was here too I know I told you several times NO cheese" I called the kids over same thing. He's all mad so I said "yes this is a scam I got going I go around ordering cheese fries and then refuse them cause I really want plain fries??? What do I gain from this?" So he makes me another set had to wait 15 minutes this time never offered me the difference or apologize. But again I see him eating those fries. I told my kids from now on we will go into the terminal and order fries there. So far no problems in fact friendlier staff cheaper and better fries!!!! read more

Awful, took them 30 minutes to realize that they didn't have the one entree I ordered. The food is really good and consistent. The delivery drivers are always friendly and prompt. My biggest hesitation is the girl Sandra who takes the phone orders. She always speaks with a major attitude. She is super unknowledgeable of the menu. Tonight as I was looking at the on-line menu she said I was looking at a wrap not at a chicken burger. I told her it was on the menu with the burgers. She said they only had chicken and spinach pizzas and wraps. I made the rest of the order and at the end tried ordering it again. She was so rude and snappy when she said they do have it. then proceeded to tell me I needed to ask for the bun toasted and nothing came on it unless I asked. The menu says a completely different thing. I read it to her. She snapped and said Ma'am like 15 times and said "What do you want on it Ma'am?" When I ordered the chicken strips platter she said we don't have that. We have fried chicken, chicken wings, chicken nuggets and chicken fingers. I shouldn't have to deal with such a rude, snotty girl to order food. When she takes my order I know it will be screwed up in some way. Every time. I tell my friends they have good food just don't ever order delivery...it is just not worth dealing with Sandra. Even the delivery drivers when they have to bring back my corrections say she doesn't do her job well and she has a very rude attitude. At the end of the lengthy conversation, which part was me on hold hearing her tell someone she didn't know what to do. I asked her name she said Sandra and said really you rudely you have a nice night Ma'am. It's really too bad. One bad employ can ruin a whole business. I won't be referring anybody until there is a change. This will be the last time we order from here. Not worth the hassle. read more
