Well, I first checked this place out in 2020. Went there 5-6 times and it was pretty good stuff. Now in 2021 ( Sept) there seems to be a real drop in quality control. This is the third time I have gotten a chick sandwich where half the meat is absolute rubber. Could not chew it , pretty disgusting. Also the jarred deserts are not packed filled with goodness like they used to. Pretty skimpy on everything except the whip cream in those now. Their fried mushrooms used to be good but now are a greasy, undercooked mess. You only need to have a few bad experiences to stop going and that's pretty much where I am on this. This place is disgusting. First of all I went to the restaurant at 2:30pm this afternoon and the lady at the counter was so rude when I came to pickup my order. I told her I am here to pickup an order and she kept yelling pickup order and screaming at me. Terrible customer service first of all. I got home and the food is terrible. The wings are so dry and hard to chew not anything I would recommend or eat again. I got the 3 and 3. The tenders are disgusting as well and were cold like they came directly out of the fridge. They had no flavor and the spicy bbq wings have no flavor it is disappointing to even call it spicy. It was so so bland. The only thing that was decent was the Mac and cheese but nothing to brag about. I support local businesses but this place needs improvement and a change in customer service. The bbq sauce is good but the cayenne ranch does not even seem to have cayenne. I would not eat here again and recommend you should not either. I've been here three times now and feel that I can give a fair review at this point. Each time I've gone in I've been greeted with a smile and friendly service. It has also been kept up and cleaned every time I'm there as well. They have a lot of great options ranging from tenders to salads to sandwiches to wraps and wings. I little bit of something for everyone, including grilled chicken. There is also a wide variety of sauces for whatever you're feeling. The food comes in good sized portions and is always fresh and has good flavor. The chicken is thick and juicy, but never overly saturated in grease. Never heard of this place but thought I'd give it a try. Ordered the medium wings and boyfriend ordered the strips. Food came out fast and was super hot and fresh. The ranch was delicious, wasn't sure if it's house made or just regular ranch. But definitely my favorite sauce. They have tons of beer options and the desserts in a jar look delicious. Will definitely be back for more. The seating of the dinning area is a little WIERD but that's the only thing. It's breaded chicken. The positive is that there is alot of dipping sauce choices. This is nice when you have kids whose taste is unpredictable at times. The wings are not too bad either. My younger son who is picky about flavors likes the bbq flavored wings because it's not spicy. The only stong negative I have is their fans that they run on FULL BLAST. For a quick place to grab a bite this is nice. They have their own distinctive flavor. I like the fact that they have a 3&3 combo that you can get wings and tenders with fries and toast. It's a little different then most fast food because while you order at the counter you get to go relax and they bring you the food. This was a nice touch. I have been thru drive-in before. This is first time I did not care for my order. Not sure if the 8 wing meal Korean bbq is supposed to come this way. But did not care for it. They gave me a sauce, not sure it was even Korean bbq to dip my chicken in. I was expecting the sauce to be coating the chicken, not to have to dip it in sauce. Got 8 wing meal on Friday with the regular bbq as sauce and it was coating the wings, no need to have to dip. The Korean bbq sauce really did not taste like it was Korean bbq. Had Sweet BBQ sauce on my wings and gravy as the dip for my tenders. The chicken tenders were just that, tender and juicy. Even my picky 3 year old said "yum!". The gravy needed more flavor though, no salt. The wings were really good! Lots of meat on the bone and the sweet bbq sauce was lip smacking good, seriously!!! Came with a side of fries and buttered toast- both which sucked but only because it got cold by the time we got home (10 min away). Fries and toast are only good when eaten fresh and hot. Went through the drive-through last night and it was just okay. My girlfriend had the 5-5 Meal with the wings and tenders, and I just had the five tender box. Honestly, didn't really like it. The seasoning isn't all that and the fries were all soggy. Granted we had to drive home so the Styrofoam box didn't help the matter, but the fries were tasteless. The chicken tenders were tasteless, I mean nothing like I was expecting. :( I hate comparing places on here, but slim chicken has nothing compared to Raisin Canes. I wish it did though. Edit: the wings were no bueno. The only saving grace is the dessert in the jar, very good, hence the extra star, other than that for the exorbitant price, I'll drive to canes in Sugarland. First time here and will be back for more! The staff is super friendly. It's counter service so they give you a number and bring it out to you. The food is delicious, I got the slims tenders with slim sauce (that sauce is delicious!). Most importantly though it's extremely clean here. Second time here, first time was great. I stopped tonight to pick up dinner for family. 2 chiks plate, smokey cheddar wrap, and regular wrap. When I ordered, I asked for the wraps to be grilled chicken and dressing on side. Low and behold, I get home with the to go order and only one wrap is grilled and they forgot dressing on both wraps. So the I came here 25 minutes until close. I haven't eaten the food yet but I'm sure it's fresh and it smells delicious. My problem is that I ordered the lemonade and it tasted extraordinarily watered down. Instead of making a big deal about it, I asked them to switch it for sweet tea. To no avail, they were out of sweet tea. Y'alls drive thru stays open until midnight and you guys should have fresh everything and shouldn't start closing down until 12:00 am. Update - okay, 3rd time's a charm! Went back tonight to try the Chicken and Waffle with sweet tea, and paid for a side of Mac and cheese (does not come with a side) and a Pumpkin Cheesecake dessert jar. Well, I have to say the Chicken and Waffle is my fave! The waffle is shaped like Texas, substantial in size and nice and fluffy, topped with 3 chicken strips, along with butter and syrup. I still say the chicken needs more spice in its batter, but it's growing on me. Didn't particularly like the Mac and cheese...not worth the $2.49 for the small cup I received and the chicken and waffle meal is enough food to fill you, so no extra side needed. The pumpkin pie dessert in a jar was a nice treat and I love the souvenir jar. I guess I know what I will be ordering from now on! Officially upgraded to 3 stars. Update - went back on 12/02/2015 and ordered the Smoky Cheddar Wrap Plate and potato salad. I live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant and my food was already cold when I got home, so that was a bummer! Chicken wings were over cooked and I expected chicken tenders to have more flavor since I've heard people rave about them. But on the plus side, chicken tenders were moist, but could use more flavor. Fries were cold with no seasoning. Signature "slim sauce" tastes like mixture of mayo & ketchup. I plan to give this place another try...chicken and waffles and chicken wrap looked pretty good and definitely want to try the cheesecake in a jar dessert! i go to the Kingwood location quite often (about once a week) and have always enjoyed great food and great service. last night however, i received my drink WITH ice in it, despite stating at least 4 times (3 of which were face to face with employee at the drive thru window when they informed me that they were out of Dr pepper). i also received the 3 ranches i asked for, and all 3 were EXPIRED. i learned this AFTER taking a massive bite of my toast, which i had dipped in the ranch. it was incredibly sour, and upon closer inspection, was incredibly thick. i attempted to shake one of the other ranches, thinking i was just overreacting to the taste or maybe just that one was bad, but when i took the lid off the second one after shaking it, i was met with a foul, sour smell, and chucks of congealed ranch on the lid. i didn't even bother with the third ranch. i ended up eating my entire meal (the rest of which was very tasty), sauce-less. needless to say, it will be awhile before i come back to this location, and i hope that when i do, the ranch ISN'T expired.​ read more

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and was good to grab a quick lunch in but lacked the quality of chicken tenders that I would expect. I waited much longer than I would have anticipate for chicken tenders, probably close to 15 minutes when most place serve in 5-10. My food was not exceptionally hot which makes me think the food sat. The tenders themselves were juicy but somewhat watery. They tasted like tenders that were fried before completely unfrozen, but they were still good. I really enjoyed the sauce selection, but in my opinion the worst sauce I had was their signature sauce. It was somewhat bland and would say the sauce at Chic-fil-a or Raising Canes is way better. Overall, good lunch spot for tenders, just don't expect the best meal. read more

We came here on a late Sunday afternoon. Place was pretty busy .. Hubby ordered kids tenders for our sons and I myself had the grilled chicken wrap. Our food didn't take long to come out!
