Only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was due to the customer service and extremely long wait in line for food. Yet frankly, the food was worth the wait. We decided to try a variety of items in order to get a good feel for the menu. We did 3 wings, 3 tenders and a chicken sandwich to be shared between my wife and I. Sincerely satisfying, well seasoned food in just the right portions! We decided to get the sauce for the wings on the side in order to taste the wing itself first and they were how we like them, fried well! Sauces were flavor bombs! First off they forgot the dipping sauces for the tenders. The chicken and fried pickles were soaked in grease. It's almost like the oil wasn't hot enough to fry the food and just soaked it in grease. First the dining room was clean and well taken care of. while lots of people were dining in, there were lots of clean tables stocked with napkins. The person that took my order was friendly and helpful. He had no problem making my wing order with 2 separate wing sauces and was very helpful. Finally the food, i am a bit of a iced tea connoisseur and i loved the tea. I tried the peach and raspberry. Both were great! I ordered an 8 piece wing and a 3 wing and 3 tender basket. I tried the honey mustard, ranch , cayenne ranch and slim sauce. They were all great. The ranch was so tasty and very obviously made in house. I got buffalo and Korean BBQ wings. They weren't very hot so maybe next time i'll order a spicier option. The fries were not very salty which i appreciate as a great canvas for the sauces. The tenders were extremely salt and over seasoned. if that's your jam then they were good. The mac n cheese left something to be desired. We had our dinner delivered through GrubHub. This was our first experience with food from Slim Chickens. My wife had the crispy chicken sandwich meal and I had the classic (4) meal. The chicken was very crisp and tasty, seasoned well. The breading was just right. Not too much, not too little. My wife said the fries were good. I had the potato salad. My husband and I were in Fayetteville coming home and we had heard about Slim Chickens and thought we would try it. We ordered two grilled chicken wraps at 7:01 pm and got our food at 7:30 pm. We were very disappointed with the wraps. We had probably 3 bites of chicken and one little piece of wilted lettuce in the entire wrap. The wraps were so tiny they fit in the palm of your hand. We couldn't eat the wraps at the ends because they were hard and about 3/4 of an inch thick and that is all you were eating was the wrap. I didn't go to Slim Chickens to have an empty wrap. This place is a disaster. I tried ordering via drive-thru a couple of times when it first opened but bailed each time after waiting for 15-20 minutes without a single car advancing. I remained interested in it and eventually decided to place an online order to be picked up. I ordered one of the chicken tender meals and chose to have it ready at 1130am on a Tuesday. I got there at 1130 and the doors were locked and employees were blocking the drive thru lanes and telling people to go away. One of them said I could still get a pick up order though and he unlocked the door and let me in. Inside was chaos. Word on the street is that restaurants are having staff shortages, but not this place. There were probably 20 employees spilling out from the kitchen and behind the counter but there just didn't seem to be any system or method to their workflow. Every aspect of every order looked like a struggle and nothing was being served to the 5 or 6 people just as confused as me who'd gotten in before they locked the doors. Also, all of the staff had their masks either off or down around their necks and since the kitchen was so crowded they were doing food prep at the register counter and on the dining room tables which seemed extremely unsanitary. I wanted to just leave but I'd already paid. About 1200 I finally got my order. The food was OK but seems like an afterthought to the whole experience. Avoid this place. read more

I found only one thing and that is that I had to sit in the drive through for at least 20 minutes to get my food gas being $4.50 a gal that is a serious nuisance but once I got my food everything was fresh and delicious and I got a cold sandwich just like I wanted cold lettuce cold tomato called mayonnaise and cold chicken fingers in a wrap it was delicious. they didn't ask me if I want catch up for my French fries but being a diabetic I shouldnt be eating that anyway. I understand this is a relatively new location but 55 minutes from the time I drove into the parking lot until my food was handed to me at the pickup window is a not acceptable. I opened the order as I was waiting for a traffic signal to change and the food was luke warm at best. The fries were wimpy and did not taste fresh at all. There wasn't one single item that I would not recommend or order again. Delicious. Super friendly customer service. Special shout out to the two employees working the dining room tonight (10/9) for being super friendly and courteous. I regret not ordering a jar dessert but I'll be back soon and will try then. I have two suggestions. Ask the special detail/security cop to turn down his radio- we don't need to hear all that while we are enjoying a meal. The food was salty and cold after waiting over 45 min in curbside after receiving an email saying the food would be ready in 10 min. I ordered the 3 and 3 the wings were cold and the tenders were salty. I also ordered a side of fried pickles. Those were also salty and cold. The manager then tried to correct my order but brought out strips and pickles fried in burnt grease. Absolutely horrible experience. I will not be back. read more
