I wish I didn't have to write this review as that would mean my sweet cat Smudge, who lived to the ripe old age of 20, was still alive. Alas, time came for him and we had to say goodbye. The vet who came to the house was so sweet and was understanding, giving us as much time as we needed before she administered his medication. After he passed I honestly don't know what she did other than being quiet and respectful (my husband handled seeing her out). When they came to pick him up for his final car ride, they made sure to wrap him in a soft blanket and strapped him securely to the gurney, allowing my husband to participate and help bring him to the van. After a week or two we picked up Fred's ashes along with some fur clippings and his paw & nose prints. I was planning to use another cremation service for my beloved cat Splenda. But, when I tried to find more information to contact them I saw a number of bad reviews. At that point I thought I need to do my homework because a bad experience like some I read about could affect me for years. I read the reviews of all the cremation companies in LA because I wanted Splenda to be taken care of as well after death as she was when she was alive.
