    3 sliders and waffle fries
    Jo Nell R.

After visiting a couple other spots in the area, we thought we would pull through the driver thru and order a couple of sliders to check them out. The building is cool, bright orange shipping container look. It was Saturday about 4:30 in the afternoon and no one was in line. Pulled up to the driver through menu and there were a couple of order takers standing there to take our order. We had reviewed the menu online prior to and the only question I had was what was Smauce sauce as I couldn't find it anywhere on their website. Turns out it's like a Thousand Island. Not for me. The order taker explained the menu and how things worked. He was fast and friendly. We went with a 3-slider meal that came with fries and a drink. We asked for one of the sliders with no sauce or cheese and he indicated it was no problem. We pulled around to the window, got the Coke Zero and the bag of food. We should have checked before driving off because all the sliders had no cheese or no sauce, so it wasn't a problem for the order taker but a problem for the inside workers since it came out wrong. The 3-slider meal came in a Styrofoam clamshell; I thought it was odd packaging for the content. The burgers were smalls sliders, the beef had a good flavor and the bun was soft, but the burger was way smaller than the bun. The fries were waffle type fries, I didn't care for them, but there were pretty many in the order. I just thought it was just ok.

If Bridgeton is too far for you, you're in luck! Small Sliders just opened in Ellisville, MO! We got to check out their food today and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and quick! I was surprised how quick our food came out. The weather was hot and humid, but they had fans and mist all around. For a limited time they have Dr. PEPPER Swirl Shake, which was perfect for days like today. They had other shakes that I want to try, but the one I can't forget about is the cookies and creme. I'm coming for you next! Make sure to get their queso and smauce with your burger and fries! :)

This place recently opened in Ellisville and I'm so excited. I heard the location in N. County is always crowded so we came around 8 on a Thursday night. They had a few people in line at the drive thru and a few sitting outside to eat. They only have outdoor seating and you order from a window (unless you go through the drive thru). Although the menu is very limited, it took us a minute to decide. You can get 1 patty or 2 patty sliders which they call biggie smalls. No French fries, just waffle fries. The sauce is like their secret thousand islands like burger sauce. Not bad but you have to pay for a side of sauce and the burgers are already pretty expensive. The waffle fries weren't bad but it couldn't eat them plain. I ordered a side of queso sauce and he was really good. The girl staff members were great! Very friendly and helpful. There was one guy that took our order and he was not friendly at all. My family enjoyed their food and shake. They don't offer refills on fountain drinks if you sit outside to eat fyi. I was between a 3 and 4 rating. We would come back to eat again but not often. It was a good place to try and better than I expected.

Small Sliders - First Impressions Stopped in at the brand new Small Sliders to check it out. The menu is as simple as it gets: small single-patty burgers with pickle, cheese, and their sauce. You can upgrade with an extra patty and cheese or add bacon, but don't expect lettuce, tomato, or onion here. Ordering is done at the window. Seating is limited to a few outdoor tables, which were mostly taken up by singles or couples camping out, so I ended up eating in my car. What I tried: * 2 Slider Combo, "Biggie Smalls" style (3.75/5): The double patty + extra cheese hit the spot. Very satisfying, though I did miss the option of fresh toppings like lettuce, tomato, or onion. Still, a solid bite. * Waffle Fries (3.75/5): Crispy and seasoned -- honestly on par with Chick-fil-A's, which is saying something. * Fry Sauce: Perfect pairing with the fries. Tangy and addictive. Bottom line: A quick, no-frills lunch option with tasty sliders and great fries. Seating could be better, and I wish they offered a few more topping choices, but I'll definitely be back when I need a fast burger fix.

I was out on a Sunday afternoon and decided to give Smalls Sliders a try even though I thought the other location was just fair. There were about 3 cars ahead of me. I ordered the two sliders, fries, Diet Coke, and the side of queso. I have about the same opinion as I had previously. The bun to meat ratio on the sliders is off. There is too much bread. The French Fries are great. The queso is not necessary. None of this food was hot or tasted fresh. It was lukewarm at best. I have passed by it a number of times and it's not drawing the crowd that the original one in town drew when it opened. Not sure if it's the location or the fact that there already is one in town or that it's just kind of meh.

Already knew from the jump this was gonna be something worth visiting and boy was I really surprised that it was even better than imagined. Not only is everything delicious but the queso addition to everything is a high suggestion of mine. I'm pretty sure that's what they're intending but I dipped BOTH my scrumptious burger and delectable fries into the queso and I'm ecstatic with the results. Please slide by because it's quick even for just opening a couple days ago and it's totally living up to the hype!

Two double sliders, with 12 waffle fries, and the sauce.

Glad Smalls Sliders opened up and got to give it a try. The food was pretty good and torally worth trying, but the mark was missed on the value. The order was the two sliders that were biggies (double burgers), waffle fries, and the smalls sauce. But the downside to the order was the cost for what you get. The order only came with 12 waffle fries. Going to Smalls you expected small burgers, but not such a small portion of waffle fries for the price. With the $14 price tag for what you receive I might be going fewer amd far between on the visits. The ambiance is fun compared to your standard burger stand and the drive through was speedy even with the new opening rush.

Went there for the first time and was miserable. Someone was using a power washer near the outdoor eating area the whole time. It was unbelievably loud and it's not like they didn't know it because a person I assume was the manager was doing g a job interview outside too. The burgers were cold and they forgot my fry order. No reason to go back! I'll stick with Freddy's.

We will try Gastropit again but honestly have had better tasting barbecue at nearby competitors. I know it is relatively new to the scene so overall, it was a good experience!

I read about this place somewhere and added it to the list and we tried it tonight! The patio was empty. I'm guessing it was because it was near 100 degrees. Our server was pretty new, but she was friendly and gave us some recommendations. The menu looked great so it took us a few minutes to make our choices. We started with drinks and I ordered the Blue Heeler which was nice and summery and refreshing. My husband ordered a beer. We decided to start with the Fried Lobster Bites. We each ordered a sandwich and we split them between the two of us. We got the Local House Burger and the Reuben. We chose fries for our sides. I know the Fried Lobster Bites are popular, but we're not fans. They were too salty, very heavily breaded and the lobster wasn't great. We won't get those again. Both the burger and the Reuben were really good! We ate the Reuben first because the bottom piece of bread was already getting a little soggy (not sure that I've ever had one that didn't get a little soggy). There was a lot of meat on it! The burger was good, but I was already full and only had a few bites. The fries were also very good! We'll definitely be going back!

I love an authentic Route 66 stop, and this is certainly one of those. From the road, it's difficult to tell how big the place actually is. Once inside, it opens up and really shares its character. We went on a Thursday evening, and it was packed, but not uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she seemed genuinely invested in customer experiences. Our food was outstanding, and there was plenty of it! We even had room for dessert: a chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It was the size of a dinner plate! This was an outstanding indulgence, and I can't wait to have another one, as soon as my glycemic index allows. LOL The restrooms were pretty darn rough. Urine all over the floor, overflowing trash can, filthy toilet, etc., gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned since the Route 66 days. Here, I am not focusing on that, since it's not what we came here for. Our overall experience was fantastic and memorable. We look forward to returning to this special historic establishment.

It's just kind of dirty everywhere. Our table had that tacky feel to it. There were dirty dishes piled up in a lot of places and about 30 or so dirty glasses piled up by the bar. Our server wasn't great. We waited a few minutes before she came over and took our drink order. She never delivered our drinks to us. After a while, we realized they were just sitting on the bar. The bartender saw us looking at them and delivered them to our table. After all that, the drinks were not good. We questioned whether there was actually any alcohol in them. We were finally able to order our entrees. I wanted a pizza. I was told they weren't doing pizza, brisket, and something else that night. She said I could have flatbread instead, so I got that. I ordered it with pepperoni, pineapple (yeah, I know - but I like it), and red onion. It was not good. The sauce was bad. It has to be plain label crap from a store somewhere. The toppings were few and far between. I didn't even eat half of it and just gave up. When our server asked if I wanted a box, I said no because it wasn't good. She said, sorry - didn't ask what was wrong with it, etc. My husband ordered the Bros. Champion Burger with tots. It's a burger with pulled pork on it. His burger was way overcooked. The pulled pork seemed to be okay. He loves tots and didn't eat them. He said they tasted like they'd been cooked in oil that had been used to cook a lot of other items as well. You may think that maybe they were understaffed. I don't believe so as I saw a number of staff members standing around chatting frequently. Our server was sitting down drying silverware. We were ready to pay and get the heck out of there. We had to get another server, to go get ours because she wasn't looking around, not checking on her tables, nothing - just chilling and drying flatware. There was absolutely nothing that made us want to go back.

The tacos came with a fresh Sriracha-mayo (or similar) sauce and mango salsa topping. The salad had an avocado ranch dressing. I paired it with a house Pinot Grigio. The server was attentive despite the busy night at this smaller grille. Outdoor seating on the patio has a wind screen with heaters, and we could still hear the music (without being charged a cover fee, bonus). Overall, we would definitely return and just be ready for some errors while checking in.
