I can't understand the bad reviews. We've had food here twice and both times the burger and fries were AMAZING!! Plus I think the value is great. The 2 burger meal is PLENTY of food for one person and it's like 12$. Worth every penny in my book. My wife brought me Shake Shack the week before and it was 24$ for a small nasty burger, nasty fries and a drink. Never again. We will def be back to Smalls for some of their delicious burgers and fries!! P.S. Smalls, please don't do like every other corporation and start cheapening up the food after you get established. I was excited to go here after hearing about it. Unfortunately, I wasn't very excited after eating there. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 2:00. I had heard of people having to wait on Manchester because the line was so long to turn in, but that was not our experience. The menu is literally sliders (all the same unless you go for the double), waffle fries, soft drinks, and shakes. And there's a sauce and queso available for dipping. We placed our order at the window and chose a table. There is no inside dining. The tables are all under cover and there are fans mounted up along one side of the dining area. I prefer not to have my hair blowing all over the place while was eating, but there was no place to get away from the fans! They're all oscillating and kind of pointing down. In general, I don't like fans blowing directly on me and especially not while eating. It didn't take too long to get our food. They call your name and you go up to the window and get it. My shake was good! It was the best part of my meal. I don't know what it is, but I don't really like waffle fries and theirs didn't make me change my mind. The actual burger itself was good. They put so much smauce (that's what it's called!) on the sliders that it made it messy and you mostly just tasted the sauce. They had a big tv on and it had a 4-way split screen. I think they were all games. The volume was up so we could hear one of the games. They also had music coming out of a speaker near the tv. It was super annoying to have both on! After visiting a couple other spots in the area, we thought we would pull through the driver thru and order a couple of sliders to check them out. The building is cool, bright orange shipping container look. It was Saturday about 4:30 in the afternoon and no one was in line. Pulled up to the driver through menu and there were a couple of order takers standing there to take our order. We had reviewed the menu online prior to and the only question I had was what was Smauce sauce as I couldn't find it anywhere on their website. Turns out it's like a Thousand Island. Not for me. The order taker explained the menu and how things worked. He was fast and friendly. We went with a 3-slider meal that came with fries and a drink. We asked for one of the sliders with no sauce or cheese and he indicated it was no problem. We pulled around to the window, got the Coke Zero and the bag of food. We should have checked before driving off because all the sliders had no cheese or no sauce, so it wasn't a problem for the order taker but a problem for the inside workers since it came out wrong. The 3-slider meal came in a Styrofoam clamshell; I thought it was odd packaging for the content. The burgers were smalls sliders, the beef had a good flavor and the bun was soft, but the burger was way smaller than the bun. I was surprised how quick our food came out. The weather was hot and humid, but they had fans and mist all around. For a limited time they have Dr. PEPPER Swirl Shake, which was perfect for days like today. They had other shakes that I want to try, but the one I can't forget about is the cookies and creme. This place recently opened in Ellisville and I'm so excited. I heard the location in N. County is always crowded so we came around 8 on a Thursday night. They had a few people in line at the drive thru and a few sitting outside to eat. They only have outdoor seating and you order from a window (unless you go through the drive thru). Although the menu is very limited, it took us a minute to decide. You can get 1 patty or 2 patty sliders which they call biggie smalls. No French fries, just waffle fries. The sauce is like their secret thousand islands like burger sauce. Not bad but you have to pay for a side of sauce and the burgers are already pretty expensive. The waffle fries weren't bad but it couldn't eat them plain. I ordered a side of queso sauce and he was really good. The girl staff members were great! Very friendly and helpful. There was one guy that took our order and he was not friendly at all. My family enjoyed their food and shake. They don't offer refills on fountain drinks if you sit outside to eat fyi. Far too expensive for what you get. After hearing all kinds of good things we were disappointed.

I was out on a Sunday afternoon and decided to give Smalls Sliders a try even though I thought the other location was just fair. There were about 3 cars ahead of me. I ordered the two sliders, fries, Diet Coke, and the side of queso. I have about the same opinion as I had previously. The bun to meat ratio on the sliders is off. There is too much bread. The French Fries are great. The queso is not necessary. None of this food was hot or tasted fresh. It was lukewarm at best. I have passed by it a number of times and it's not drawing the crowd that the original one in town drew when it opened. Not sure if it's the location or the fact that there already is one in town or that it's just kind of meh. read more

They messed up my order and left food out. My wife called to talk to a manager and the girl on the phone wouldn't put the manager on the phone. The food was for my kids we asked if I could go back and get what was missing and if they needed anything. the worker said she didn't know. We asked if we are getting a refund and she said she didn't know. She just wanted us to leave a phone number and said a manager named mo would eventually call us back. Came here for dinner tonight and very glad we did! Their sliders are nothing crazy, but they're delicious and filling. The fries were a hit too. Glad Smalls Sliders opened up and got to give it a try. The food was pretty good and torally worth trying, but the mark was missed on the value. The order was the two sliders that were biggies (double burgers), waffle fries, and the smalls sauce. But the downside to the order was the cost for what you get. The order only came with 12 waffle fries. Going to Smalls you expected small burgers, but not such a small portion of waffle fries for the price. With the $14 price tag for what you receive I might be going fewer amd far between on the visits. I saw the other reviews before I came here last week. I was expecting a 1-star experience, but I liked it. I was also expecting a menu with 30 slider choices, but it was just 1 choice. Basically a small cheeseburger with their house sauce (order taker said it was like 1000 island), which I 86'ed. At someone's suggestion on Yelp, I got the queso, which i recommend as well. All in, my 3 sliders with queso were just under $12 after tax. I guess that is a bit high for sliders, but I did enjoy them. And the guy that took my order seemed like he knew what he was doing and did it quickly. We'll see if my next visit is as pleasant. But today, I was a happy camper. read more

Food - Really good! Love the grilled burger taste / look vs bulk frozen patties. Fries are a lot like Arby's curly fries...except waffle lol. Service - A lot to work on here. I'm not concerned with the long wait times. It seems like it's made to order, and it comes out good! The issues are with the employees. Manners do not exist. Even with nobody there (I mean little to no customers) you are not told anything at the window. If you finally get someone, they are more concerned with their phone(s). Overrated. You can't customize the burgers, it only comes with 1 pickel and 1000 Island (they call it "smauce"). You can't get lettuce, onions, tomato or any mustard, mayo or ketchup. They will throw some mustard, ketchup or mayo packs in the bag, but for a 12-15 burger for lunch, I expect toppings to be put on my burger. The burger itself is 75% bread and nothing special for how high the prices are. I am afraid they are nothing but a marketing company selling burgers and will suffer the same problems as 5 Guys Burgers. They are getting press and opening new locations fast, and will crash just as fast once the novelty wears off. read more

They honestly taste like mini Shake shack burgers . The queso is definitely decent as well for the fries. THE WORST!! Burgers were terrible when I opened it to see if they put ketchup and mustard as I asked, there was nothing and the tiny burger looked like ground beef sprinkled on it - it was not a patty! Fries were cold and stale. Milk shake WOW horrible! I asked for a chocolate shake and it was not mixed well at all. It was white on the top and bottom and a huge chunk of chocolate syrup cluster in the middle of the shake. I had to mix it with a spoon when I got home! $41.00 for 3 kids meals and 3 shakes. That would have been acceptable had the food been prepared correctly and have an have an actual burger patty. read more
