This is my husband's favorite burger in the greater Austin area, he literally begs to go! We first had the opportunity to try them the first few times when they were parked at the briefly open location of the Elgin Circle Brewing Company. And have since traveled back to the area to have them at their new spot. We always order the Double Smash Burgers and put every free topping available on them. My husband also adds bacon for $2. The chili cheese fries are great as well, they really provide on the portions at this food truck! They also are always friendly and we end up having a nice chat about music or clothes/fashion or beer or food in general. Your food is made very fast and fresh. read more

I had their burgers last year at an event they were at and they were awesome. Went to them today and the burgers were horrible. I was told that Nico and brother no longer own it so that explains it. I will start by saying we usually don't go out for burgers as I've been grinding my own at home for years...BUT these burgers are legit...great flavor on the meat...cooked perfectly...juicy and down right delicious!...along with fresh veggies it makes for a great bite!...Onion rings are real deal and super crispy....fries are golden and hot...and the Queso is the bomb! Great food truck. Nice location. Have been here several times and learned a few tips from the nice girl who takes our order. Order a single smash with extra patty- it rings up cheaper than a double. Get a basket of fries because it's plenty for the 3 of us! I got my burger with no bun/ lettuce wrap. They're generous with all toppings. And if you like a little heat, ask for spicy mayo. This food trailer is serving up delicious burgers that are hot off the grill and melt in your mouth. Make sure you call in advance to find out if they have moved. The service is always friendly and helpful. They don't mind answering questions about their menu. The last time I ordered from them they were stationed at circle brewing in Elgin. This place has lots of trees and outside patio dining that is serene. You can also dine inside the brewing company in the AC if it is too hot out for you. Bring your dog! If you're on your way through Elgin, this stop is a must. We found it after visiting the Christmas tree farm down the road. As soon as we got out of the car, the smell of burgers overtook us and was incredible. The guy (I think he was the owner) was very friendly and came out of the truck to walk us through the menu. I am not a big burger eater, but make exceptions for the Smash Daddies. My wife and I had them a couple of times and liked them so much, we hired Nikolai to carer our family reunion in Elgin. I have a few "picky" relatives, but everyone raved about his food. The kids especially liked their handmade chicken nuggets and the fries were great as well. Been wanting to try this place for a while...was hoping was going to be anywhere as good as Daniels...had heard lots of good things.....first, the price ....$8 bucks for a burger (there was a cheaper one and a more expensive one)....but I went with the middle one....had to have been the puniest saddest looking burger (for $8) I have ever seen...if a burger looks like it wilted from the Texas heat then this was it...taste was slightly ok and I mean very slightly.... but did not make up for overall first impression...was curious about the "Nuggs"...sounded good...Do Not get these...These were the worst fried item I have ever had....If the grease was two weeks old and had been used a thousand times I would have not been shocked....I can usually eat anything, especially if I paid for it but these were inedible....all breading in bad/old grease and barely any "nugg"....the fries and onion rings were just ok and makes me wonder if they were fried in the same grease...overall I'm going to pass on this place..... read more
