She says is on a table over there number 16. I said well you gave me number 3 and said to sit at a table. She says that number is for another order. I said well this is the number you gave me. So she then grabs the food from the table and tells the kitchen to make it to go. I said no, please give my money back. Then she gets someone to give me my money back and says it was a kids meal. When we first walked into the well air conditioned restaurant, we were immediately greeted by the server, who was in the process of making a couple of milkshakes. So, we had to wait for that process to finish before we could order, which took nearly 10 minutes. We ordered a double bacon Smashburger, a single smash burger and a mushroom Swiss Smashburger, all which were served hot and fresh and extremely tasty! We ordered some french fries, which were served warm, not hot. They were pretty tasty! They accidentally brought some onion rings to the table, which I suppose we didn't mind at all lol. Those were also good, but a little greasy. Overall, these burgers were excellent Smashburgers through and through; nice crispy edges and perfectly cooked! Idk about this location, every single time I go there I'm there for 20 minutes for just a vegan shake and fries, the tables are dirty and I have no idea what the kids in the back are doing. This location is in a really nice part of Centennial and in the Trader's Joe's parking lot...so you kind of expect more from this restaurant for the area it's in. I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats for the first time. Shortly after eating the meal, my boyfriend became severely ill with what we believe to be food poisoning. He has been unable to keep anything down since and had to be taken to urgent care due to persistent vomiting, which continued even after receiving medication. Awful! Just left this Smashburger. I waited 45 minutes for my to go order and ended up walking out without my food or a refund. I watched as multiple orders, for people that came in after me, came and went. There's a sign as you walk in saying they are "short staffed and to please be patient". I paid about $20, tipped 15%, and even filled out a survey because the person who took my order said "lf you could review my service while you wait that would really help me out". This is the first time I have tried Smashburger and was pretty impressed by the Mushroom Swish Burger which was the best and most flavorful that I have had anywhere in awhile.
