Out sailboat racing on a Saturday, I took a bad step in rough seas, falling heavily onto the lifeline and smashing my teeth onto the deck hardware. With broken teeth and a cut chin, we returned to the dock. One of my crew mates running after me to hand me a tooth they found on the deck. I felt at an emotional bottom. I love the team at Smiles4oc. Each time I visit I am greeted with enthusiasm and genuine smiles. Each staff member goes out of their way to greet me, even the ones with whom I haven't had the pleasure of working with yet. This doctor and his office are scam artists. I went there after my doctor couldn't practice anymore. I had pain in a tooth. He said my root canal was bad and everything had to come out and get a new steel post tooth that he would do. I asked for a second opinion. He got irate. Then sent me to his own endotologist. He said everything was fine. So I return only to learn many other teeth are in need of crowns to the tune of $10,000 for 4 of them. Anyway, I let him do it and one of the crowns wouldn't seat well. He tried and tried and drilled and drilled. After a few days I complained that it hurt and didn't seat well. Again, he told me to get a second opinion. I did and that dentist wrote to him and confirmed what I said. Scam dentist Rolfes wrote off a partial amount of that crown. I then refused to pay my balance. He filed something on my credit report, which is now gone since 7 years has well passed. But, his office and unpolite conduct will haunt me forever. STAY AWAY FROM DR. I am a 72 year old woman who has never had good dental care. Due to other medical issues I did not prioritize my teeth. I am finally in a position to do so. I was referred to Dr. Tim by my son. On 2/19/26 I had my first appointment. Immediately I felt the warmth and kindness just checking in. I was nervous and put at ease by the vibe of happiness and the calm atmosphere. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Rolfes since 2010 when we moved back home to California. Our dentist had retired and Smiles4OC was recommended by a friend whose opinion I value.
