First they were out of the lunch specials 20 minutes into lunchtime. So we ordered off the menu: Turkey/dressing was cold and the gravy tastes like air. Ham/pineapple was chewy like it was microwaved and the pineapples were 4 tiny chunks from a can, seemingly added last minute and not cooked with the ham. The fried chicken didn't resemble any piece of chicken I have ever seen and was so over-fried it felt like pork rinds. The Mac and cheese tasted like the Stouffers frozen kind. The blackberry cobbler tasted like they accidentally used salt instead of sugar. Not a single item of anyone's food was good. And we are not picky eaters. I love a local, southern restaurant. This was shockingly bad. Also two separate people couldn't figure out the very basic task of changing the paper in a receipt machine and held my change hostage while they figured it out. I eventually just walked out without my change because I couldn't be in there anymore.

We have never had an issue with the service. They've always been communicative and friendly, offering great suggestions on the menu. I love the inside of the restaurant. I upgraded and paid extra for onion rings because I absolutely love onion rings however, I was very much disappointed in the onion Rings. First of all the coding on the onion rings is super thick and heavy when they were served to me the onion rings were cold with that thick layer of cornmeal. They were very tough and unappealing absolutely no flavor. You could barely taste the onion so then I decided to peel off all of the breading and try the onion within, and it was a fresh onion very sweet very good, but I was very disappointed. Lastly, my dish came with coleslaw. This to me was the absolute best coleslaw. I've had Don't a while and it was the hit of my dish and I absolutely loved it my partner at lunch.
