One place was asking for a $250 deposit, which could later be applied to services, just to get one of their technicians to come out. Family friends highly recommended this company after they had utilized their services on multiple homes. Leo was out the next day, free of charge, to assess the damage and provide some guidance on how to proceed. He was incredibly knowledgeable and walked us through worst and best case scenarios. Within a few days, he had technicians to rip up our baseboard and some flooring to dry it out. Overall, they removed/replaced a small part of our wall, baseboard and flooring due to some leaking through a cable hole, which they discovered and patched up for us. We were so pleased with the work! Charlene and Leo both were so accommodating to squeeze us in last minute amidst some other projects that were far more severe than ours. Each and every technician that worked in our house was polite and meticulously clean in the aftermath. They knew we had a young baby and were very thoughtful to not bring in any harsh chemicals, which was greatly appreciated. I called Peet's restoration and they came out and confirmed that there was in fact, water damage, and some mold but more importantly, that there was some active water damage. They went above and beyond to do mold remediation, check the existing walls and room, and called a leak detection company to find out what the problem was before they patched up the wall. Additionally, I mentioned that I was going to have flooring replaced and being the one stop shop that they are, they gave me an excellent price on flooring and sent out to flooring installers, Daniel and Jacob that are probably the best I've ever worked for. My realtor said they were great however, they didn't show up and completely ghosted us. It was so stressful, inconvenient and expensive, as we were moving from 800 miles away, and having to arrange it all over the phone. We had new floors being put in and had to pay extra money for the flooring contractor to come on two separate days to rip out the floors, wait for odor treatment, and then put new floors in. We delayed moving into our new house by several days which cost us additional nights in an Airbnb. We had all of our possessions waiting for us in UBox storage, and had we been able to move in on Monday, rather than waiting until Friday for service that was never performed, we would not have incurred an additional month's rent for storage. Overall, they cost us somewhere between $1200 and $1400 due to delay, and never performed the service.

He was great at communicating back and forth with our insurance company regarding all the damage, making sure we were covered for everything! He was also great at communicating with us about the mitigation process and the repairs afterwards. He took the time to address all of our concerns and even came by after the repairs were finished to replace our new shower head that was damaged. Him and his team were very detailed oriented with the exception of a few issues we noticed afterwards such as, our bathroom sink not being fully pushed back on one side, a few walls he combined 2 baseboards instead of using one longer piece, our smoke detector was missing, and the sealing of prior holes in the wall from our toilet paper holder was very poorly done. He did use the backyard to store a lot of the supplies but didn't tell us he had the dry wall material back there as well so thankfully we checked and didn't turn on the sprinklers those days. As well as leaving the gate open one of the days which isn't too big of a deal, however we do have pets.
