Went here for the first time yesterday with a friend and had an amazing lunch. I liked it so much I brought home a meal to-go for my boyfriend who ended up being stuck at work late and had to have dinner on the road. So now I'm eating his meal for my breakfast today while simultaneously writing this review AND wondering if I should go back for dinner tonight as well -It's that good! My party ordered plates with two meats, two sides, and cornbread. The beef briskett and pulled pork were good. The chicken wings were good. The mac and cheese and coleslaw were ok. There were too much black pepper and salt in the dishes and on the meats Please put less salt and pepper in food and let the customers add more spices to their liking. Add more flavor in coleslaw. On Saturday 8/28 I came in to pick up an order placed much earlier in the week. It consisted of a Groupon for 8 plus almost $120 worth of additional items. When ordering earlier in the week, I told the staff that I would be in at 5 to pick up the order. The staff did not even BEGIN to put my order together until I arrived at 5:15. Numerous excuses were used (smoker was not working correctly, too busy throughout the day, etc.). 50 minutes later I was able to settle up and leave but was without several items I had previously ordered that they claimed to be out of. Gabi's catered a friends wedding dinner rehearsal back in October. From the pulled pork and brisket to the Mac and cheese to the peach cobbler, peach muffins and coleslaw - oh my god! Everything was cooked perfect! Our plates and bellies were full to say the least! So many of us couldn't drink anymore because we stuffed our faces so much. I spent 16 years in Texas and got hooked on BBQ. Been looking for a place in NH that could come close to what I was use to, and finally found a place I can use for my BBQ fix. The owner is from near where I use to live in Texas and has done a great job of duplicating what I am use to. I get the brisket either by the pound or in a sandwich, and it is excellent. read more

I would have preferred the ribs to be a little more "fall of the bone" but I think it might just be a product of the style of BBQ they offer. I'm new in the area and was looking to have an early dinner but not pizza or Chinese. My husband remembered this place. (One of the many drive by's that you do and say we should try there someday). Oh My God! The smell before you even get in will make you start to drool. I had the pulled pork and my husband had the brisket. Definitely a solid BBQ find! Easily the best I've had since moving to New England and as good as any you'd find in TX or the rest of barbecue country. My first experience at Gabby's was over this past weekend. Got a side of pulled pork and 1/2 rack of baby back ribs. the Pork was excellent, just the right amount of smoke and the sauces were very good too. Unfortunately the ribs were very disappointed. They did have a good flavor but they were very under cooked. the meat was tough and chewy. No where even close to "fall off the bone". It's hard to imagine that the staff would have served ribs this bad. This being said, i will be going back to give them another shot, and i will speak to the staff directly about my experience with the ribs. We got a lb of pulled pork and half of it was fat!! We contacted them this morning and all they said was they were going to address the employees that were working at the time. So no compensation from them which means we won't be back, or recommending to anyone. Which is sad because the meat was actually good, the beans were good, the coleslaw was okay, the mac and cheese was a little rubbery but okay. If you're going to run a business and you have an unhappy customer for whatever reason, then you need to try and make it right which they didn't. Making it right would be a coupon or replacement of the item as we did spend almost $60 there. read more
