Haven't been here in years. We were heading to Red Lobster after dance for the girls and there was a 25 min wait. My wife checked the wait time and had a table ASAP. I grabbed the girls and went in. The menu is outstanding. So much to choose. Too many choices. I got 2 dinners ha ha. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and the honey rack of ribs with the Takis street corn and the mashed potatoes and the broccoli. OMG SO GOOD. I felt like I was in another state. Went here while visiting family in the area - we actually had planned taking family here for lunch rather than having them cook. We went on a Saturday around 2:30 and the place was fairly empty to so no problem getting a table. Our waiter Glen was super friendly and attentive. I had the 1/3 rack of ribs with mac and cheese and baked beans. My ribs which were fall off the bone soft tasted a little gamey but everything else was great - the mac n cheese and the beans were hot, fresh and delicious. Thus my reason for giving it four stars. Hubs had a pulled pork sandwich that he was very happy with and three teens had burgers with fries and sausage. Burgers were good, but flavor of fries was peculiar - like they were fried in old grease. With each drink refill, the waiter put new straws in drinks; being conservation-minded, that was disappointing - it adds up and our environment pays. FOUR STARS because if flavor! Last night my daughter and I we're coming back from manorville so I was excited to stop here knowing it was right off the expressway. Got there at about 8 pm and there was a half hour wait. Not a big deal. Once we were seated we were greeted right away and ordered. We'd had time to know what we wanted. The server, sorry I forgot her name, was very sweet. I will never patronize this restaurant again. I ordered the food on Grub Hub. First problem was the delivery was delayed - at first I didn't blame the restaurant but when the food was finally delivered an hour late the delivery guy told me the restaurant gave him and a previous delivery guy a hard time. Fast forward to just opening up the bags of food. Everything was packaged well, but ICE COLD - also almost the entire order was week old & partially MOLDY food. There were 5 entrees ordered and 1 appetizer. First entree was the 2 favorites combo - which included the Texas Brisket, Pulled Pork, sides were masked potatoes and cinnamon apples. The so called brisket for one, wasn't brisket, wasn't even beef. And it was dried out like beef jerky. Secondly, the pulled pork they placed on 2 slices of what I think was supposed to be Texas toast however it was so wet and soggy it was more like bread submerged in corn oil & garlic. The pulled pork looked ok otherwise so I attempted to taste it, it was disgusting. Besides no barbecue sauce, it tasted rancid, as if it spoiled a month ago. The mashed potatoes were cold, dry, and tasted again, rancid - either they mixed them with lemon juice or they too spoiled a month ago. The cinnamon apples tasted like they they spilled a mixture of cooking oil and floor wax in them. My daughter's mashed potatoes actually had mold on top. My daughter's Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was so hard and impossible to bite my daughter is sure she broke a bracket on her braces. One of my sons ordered the Big Mac and Cheese - what they gave him is over cooked elbow macaroni in a clear plastic cup with a slice of Kraft American Cheese microwaved on top. The loaded fries appetizer was DISGUSTING. It's nothing what is described on Grubhub. It's a small bowl filled with some funky sugary ketchup paprika cumin mixture with about 12 natural cut fries sitting on top of it,covering them is more sugar, onions (which we requested they leave off), a small amount of what I'm almost sure is plastic cheese, more green onions, bites of cooked tomato and some other glop I cannot figure out what it is.
