Was working by this place and thought we would give it a try. I was very impressed with the food! They have a big selection of sandwiches and salads and even stuff not on their main menu is available, like a buffalo chicken sandwich and Philly cheese steak. And they have habanero topping as a condiment if you want it on the side. I tried that and liked it. Whenever I'm near a Snarf's sandwich shop I'll make sure I stop in and grab a sandwich. Quality is usually good, the wait makes it not worth it 100% of the time. I placed an order on the app at 4:30 on a Thursday night and the soonest pickup time available was 5:06. HOW does it take 30 minutes to make one sandwich?! Staff are usually rude and condescending. They seem to care more about talking and playing loud music than their customers. Awesome atmosphere and nice employees. Unfortunately I ordered a BLT and a Pastrami sandwich and received NO lettuce or tomatoes on the BLT, and the Pastrami was sort of a gooey consistency. Hopefully my next experience will be better with them because of their ability to deliver in the gunbarrel area. Will give it another shot in a couple weeks. I ordered a double meat and cheese sandwich. It was overpriced and thin on ingrediants. I have been in several times always to be dissatisfied. Slowest service and lackluster attitudes from almost all employees. There is consistently a 20-30 minute wait for anything you order at any time of the day. The sandwiches are decent when made correctly-which is rare. Today I was given the wrong soup even after asking if they had given me the correct one; red pepper soup is generally red not a creamy yellow. Not sure why there are so many poor reviews, this place is awesome! My hubby and I had the eggplant parmesan and the meatball parmesan, respectively, and shared a cup of chicken poblano soup. Everything was amazing! I was most impressed by the bread, which was crisp and toasty, but not so toasted that it tears up the roof of your mouth. Win! I will say we came after the lunch rush, so I can't really comment on the long lines, as we had no wait and the food came out fast. I actually hate this place I live nearby so I have given it so many chances and it continually keeps disappointing me. Almost every time I order a BLT with avocado I think every time they have forgotten the avocado. I really want to like this place. The atmosphere is quirky and the staff is too. Overall, it has a cool vibe that's different from your typical deli. Unfortunately it's got a few problems. The music makes it hard to hear your name and the service feels slow, but the worst part is how often they mess up my order. About half of the time they get something wrong. I work at at a nearby large business, and I have gotten Snarfs for the weekend crew on many occasions, there are not a lot of options in the area. No more. I am finally driven away from the good sandwiches by the horrible customer service and lack of attention to detail. The only consistent thing I can say for the Gunbarrel location is that you will be disappointed. I always ask for a receipt and get it about 20% of the time. EVERY order is WRONG! EVERY ONE! I order on-line and there is always at least one of my staff bummed they did not get what they wanted. Missed sides, wrong toppings or leaving tomatoes on that were specifically asked to be removed. They forgot the chip order today so I called the shop (at 2:00pm) and "Ben" left me on hold for 20 minutes - 21 minutes actually. When he finally got back to the phone, I realized the futility of speaking to anyone there and thanked him for keeping me on hold for 20 minutes and hung up. New to the area and have ordered delivery from this location at least 5 or more times in the last month or two as a quick option for lunch while working from home. It's weirdly inconsistent in that some days, it'll be delivered in 30 minutes and other times it's literally taken over an hour and a half. For a sandwich and chips. My biggest complaint, and reason I will now stop ordering from this location, is that like others have said - there seems to be a whole lot of inconsistency. When I ask for mayo sometimes it's dripping in 10 lbs of it and other times I barely notice it's even there. It's a total luck of the draw with toppings I ask for - maybe I'll get onions, maybe I won't. I honestly wonder if they even look at the orders, and instead just vaguely read the first two words and wing it from there. I always order a side or chips with my sandwich and I would say 95% of the time I open the bag and it's NEVER included. It's just gotten to be too frustrating and unreliable to deal with anymore. This may possibly be the slowest sandwich shop on the planet... from ordering to sandwich making... over 40 minutes at 2 in the afternoon.

I would not recommend going here if you're in a hurry. They're not sit-down speed but for a sammie place, I have found all my experiences to run on the slow side. That being said, most of the time I think it's a well-made sandwich and has good fillings. I use to go two or three times a week but after my latest experience it is off the list. It is always real slow when you go in and order so I started pre-ording on line and picking it up. This works much better until today. I go in to pick up my order and its not ready so I wait until someone that came in after me gets the sandwich they ordered from the counter. I ask about my order, they look around for it and can't find it but say they made it. The offer to make it again so I am waiting again. Now you would think they would put a rush on my order but no. What a joke... Was attending trivia at a local brewery and a few ofnus wanted something to eat and we agreed apon Snarfs snadwiches. We placed the order around 7:30pm and the food arrived around 8:15pm or so. No big deal, they were busy. Open my French Dip and it was a veggie sandwich, but it did come with the au jus. Called back to the store and they agreed to send out one more French Dip, asap. 20 mins later, driver shows up with another sandwich. I take it, walk inside and what do I have? Another veggie sandwich!!! So I called back to the Snarfs and the boy taking the call is just dumbfounded... refused to beleieve what I was telling him and he decided to get the manager. Manager starts telling me, and I quote, "maybe you do not know what meat looks like" and "I looked at the sandwich before I left the store.. so I know it is correct" very angrily and in a very confrontational manner. Ignoring what I said and calling me a liar. No dinner for me, BUT YOU STILL GOT MY MONEY FOR THE SANDWICH! Is this your business model? Steal money and insult customers?
