Last week I decided to give it another shot, because no matter what, the wings were always on point... wow, what a difference! The change was immediately noticeable. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely personable. I sat at the bar and couldn't help but notice how smooth and seamless the entire operation was. I especially want to highlight Tara, the bartender. I didn't even have to ask her name as she was clearly the go-to person. Anytime there was a question or concern, the team turned to her, and she always had a quick, effective solution. Even without firsthand bartending experience myself, just listening to the conversations made it obvious how knowledgeable and capable she is. What stood out even more was her teamwork. If she had a free moment, she was proactive about helping others with their tasks. It never seemed like a burden... she genuinely wanted the team to succeed. You could also see how responsive everyone was to her, which speaks volumes about her positive attitude and strong work ethic. Between the consistently great wings and the huge improvement in service, Booty's has officially earned its way back into my regular rotation. Getting seated, we didn't want a high top and it was the only thing available. The hostesses couldn't give us an estimate of what the wait time would be for a different table, but I'm realizing after our horrendous experience- they probably weren't trained. We ended up just taking the high top to negate any further confusion with a time estimate. It's crowded inside, and your table is crowded. The energy and atmosphere is tense and overwhelming. It's a sports bar, though- so I feel like that's consistent with any other sports bar you'd pop in to. We decided on the build your own appetizer to start, it came out room temperature. While our server was taking our order for the rest of the food (there was apparently an issue with the table next to ours and their food being taken to the incorrect table, again with poor training) the manager went out to the table next to ours to deliver food and turned to the server at my table, taking my order, and interrupted me to yell at her. He yelled at her about putting the incorrect table on the tickets and the food going to the wrong table, yelled at her the right table numbers( I guess for her to remember next time?), and then stormed off. Leaving our server, to pick up the pieces and apologize for an emotionally triggered man that should have some self control if he's leading a team or part of a company. I was absolutely disgusted with the behavior of the leadership in this establishment and the food was unremarkable. Cold, bland, and stingy is how I would describe the food we were served. There were barely any cheese curds on the Poutine, The Ole Smokey pizza was mediocre and the pasta was bland. I think this restaurant rides the coattails of being on the food network but it does not meet expectations, by far. There is a lack of training all around and that falls on leadership, only. The hostesses couldn't give a wait time, the bartender was over serving customers (I'm reporting that separately to the state), and the servers/runners aren't fully trained for the floor- but instead of teaching, training and finding a resolution- their lead will berate and belittle them to satisfy his ego and ruin your experience. Outta Bronx - A Very Disappointing Visit and an Even Worse Follow‑Up…read more We've been customers of this spot for some time, and up until now, the food has always been solid. Unfortunately, our latest experience was far from what we've come to expect. Our order was wrong from the start -- something we caught before leaving -- and we were told our food had been handed to another customer, so it had to be remade. Annoying, but understandable. The real issues showed up once we got home. The mac and cheese tasted stale and simply wasn't edible. The Reuben was another disappointment: barely any meat, what little there was had been overcooked, and the sandwich had almost no sauerkraut. When I flipped it over, I could literally see more toppings through the meat than actual meat. The only thing that resembled their usual quality was the chicken fingers. What pushed this experience from disappointing to unacceptable was the phone call I received from the owner,after I emailed their website to share what happened. My intention was to give them a chance to address the situation privately rather than jumping straight to a negative review. Instead, I spent nearly half an hour listening to the owner defend the food, insist the items we ordered weren't their "best sellers," and tell us to choose different items next time. They claimed nothing could be wrong with the food and that we should have just eaten it. They also said the mac and cheese wasn't their responsibility and told us to complain to Krispy Krunchy Chicken because they "just microwave" what they receive. When asked whether a replacement would resolve the issue, I said yes -- only for the owner to then accuse me of taking money from their family and saying they personally wouldn't complain about food they didn't like. I was told to just eat it and avoid ordering those items again. I have this all recorded. If you're going to ask whether a replacement would make things right, why turn it into an argument afterward? This could have been handled quickly and respectfully. Instead, I was told I was bothering them by emailing on a Friday night, and the entire call felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Calling a customer on a Friday night to argue is not how you keep loyal customers. After enjoying this place for some time, it's disappointing to see how poorly concerns are handled when something goes wrong. Update: I believe the response to this shows what I outlined above. I do not know this owner personally. I met them twice at the restaurant when getting my orders and both were good yet brief experiences. I also do not understand how there is fraud in contacting a restaurant, via their contact us email address, to inform them of issues you had with an order. Their call to me, in response to the email, was not a personal call and entirely business related. This simply shows that this is the type of response one can expect if they have any issues with their order.

My wife usually drinks water, while I typically order multiple beers. I understand the purpose of the policy and why it exists. Discounted specials can be abused, and that makes sense. However, during our previous visits, my drink purchases had always counted toward qualifying us for the special. This time, we were told that the drink requirement applies specifically to the person ordering the wings, regardless of how much was spent on drinks at the table. The server explained that the manager was firm on enforcing that rule. The frustrating part is the inconsistency. If this had always been the policy, that would be one thing--but allowing it previously and then suddenly enforcing it differently made for a frustrating experience. In the end, it felt like unnecessary rigidity and money left on the table. Because of the experience, we chose not to order anything extra beyond our initial order. Unfortunately, this visit left a bad impression, and we'll most likely be taking our business elsewhere, which is disappointing because we had genuinely been enjoying coming here.
