Food was great ,however, the service was terrible!! We waited for 20 plus minutes for someone to just drop off utensils and I had to go and find someone to let the know we hadn't been served. Mind you there are servers walking around waiting on other tables and NO ONE came to wait on us. Once I finally got a server to come wait on us the food came out quick and was good! (Like I said earlier) However.. we didn't see ANYONE else until maybe 20 ish minutes after we were done eating the first things we ordered and never saw anything after that or anyone. The next time we saw someone was almost 30 minutes into us being done and he came over to check us out! ( mind you... we still had more food we ordered that we haven't seen and he says wasn't put in) I typically like snooze but whatever is happening here (understaffed, new staff, etc) SAY THAT!! Sorry to see I'm going to be taking a break from snooze for a minute because that was crazy to me!!! One more thing... Once we were ready to go they offered a comped French toast, that we requested TO-GO, because the experience has been very lack luster since arrival!! & we did NOT receive the food in a to go box despite the multiple requests we put in. Solid 10/10 experience. First time here and I enjoyed every moment of it. I completely forgot my server's name, but she had a tattoo on her knee and she was amazing. I'm here at least twice a week. I always request my favorite server Makenzie. She's knowledgeable, has great customer service and checks on me when needed. She's worth every minute I'm there. Visited mid morning (9:30am) on a Tuesday. There was no crowd or line and we had no wait time and were seated immediately. The restaurant was nice & clean however the silverware had lots of wear & I requested plastic instead. Unfortunately I just missed the sweet potato pancakes but our server was patient, attentive and offered great suggestions from the menu to help us decide. I had the Monte Cristo Brioche Toast !! The raspberry pepper jam is sooooo good, my gosh! Every bite was flavorful. Seems like the quality has declined since my last few visits over the years. I sat on the patio to enjoy a nice, light breakfast. I didn't like having the silverware laid bare on the table that had been sitting in the elements and with birds & bugs around. They could have atleast placed it on napkins. Then they seemed to have 2 servers outside so the service was really slow. I watched the guy go around to everyone's table even those that came after me, before taking my order. Then the matcha drink I ordered had lipstick on the cup so I asked for another one in a clean cup. I never got it. Then when I closed my check I thought he had removed it but he didn't. Terrible experience. Undercooked/mushy hash browns. Paid extra for tomatoes on the side and got slimy sun dried tomatoes instead. MAIN COMPLAINT: I ordered for takeout. I had to wait extra when I got there because the employee decided to make another guest's coffee while they went to get my change. I live just down the street and got there before my order was ready. We waited 39 minutes after we received a text saying our table was ready and when we were about to leave the hostess told us they had a table ready and the people left and they were cleaning the table, but after waiting it became clear they were lying just to keep us inside. When we asked politely which table was being cleaned, the staff raised their voices at us instead of simply answering. As if that wasn't enough, when we decided to leave, they made extremely sarcastic comments, which felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. My favorite beverages are the Chai hot or cold and the fresh pressed green juice for when I need to get my veggies in. When we asked about the delay, the hostess claimed a table was being cleaned--but it was obvious they were lying just to keep us from leaving. When we politely asked which table she was referring to, the staff actually raised their voices at us instead of answering. And to top it all off, when we finally decided to walk out, they made sarcastic comments on our way out the door. The dishonesty, rudeness, and lack of basic courtesy were shocking. I've always heard about this place but had never been because I'm not huge on breakfast food but my friend and I came here randomly while walking the dogs and it was pretty good. We sat ourself outside and the staff was quick, friendly and helpful and very accommodating to our dogs. It was a Saturday about noon and while it was busy, there was no wait and a good amount of tables open outside. It's near a strip mall with plenty of parking. The menu was huge and they have plenty of vegetarian/vegan and low calorie options which is always great. Prices are slightly high-ish midrange, I got the avocado smash Benedict with tofu and it was about $18 for a kind of small serving of food. I also got an oat milk latte which was mediocre at best but whatever, even a bad oat milk latte is good. My meal came with hashbrowns that were not that crispy, nor well seasoned or flavorful but they were still very edible. The eggs Benedict was definitely better, but honestly not remarkable at all. Kind of tasted like I could easily make it myself at home haha but it was still yummy. Just a little bland if anything. My friend got a classic breakfast and said it was good but again, nothing special. I would return here but I wouldn't seek it out. read more

One of my few complaints is the music way too loud for some patrons & I enjoy all types of music, but still feel hip hop or indie music at 11 am is a bit too much. Feel like the music is more suited for the employees. The concept of playing loud music is is any outdated idea to make people eat faster and get out to turn the tables. And WHY is there an add-on mixer charge to alcohol drinks??? Just set an single price for a mixed cocktail and be done with it! Firstly, the music was so loud it sounded like a club at peak hour, it was 7:30am. I asked for crispy bacon, not burnt, and when I politely asked to return it the waitress acted like I had insulated her personally. My guest ordered a latte and was given a double shot of expresso that was so bitter it puckered her cheeks. When asked to send back she again was insulted and just sat it on the empty table next to us and barked, "well what else would you want". We received our food and immediately asked for a to go box for both and a to go cup for drink, she brought one to go container and did not bring the to go cup. I had to walk to front to ask for another box for my guest's food. I will not go back, I even tipped adequately because sometimes people just have a bad day.
