Both left and right side seated way after us. They even ordered way after us. Tyler took the wrong order down and we ended up with double bacon orders that we didn't need. Additionally, both tables left and right of us got their food served before ours even though we ordered before them. Not sure if this was a kitchen or server thing. My double bacon sando was delicious and what dreams are made = soft toasted brioche bun, slice of peppered pork belly, argula and pickled onions. I loved this with the block of hash brown. Then we had two orders of the same bacon. It should have been one of each. It's fine, we didn't die we ate them. Would have been nice to try both. His Benedict was cooked perfectly. The French toast was also delicious topped with fresh whip and berries. I wish service was more efficient but I will come back when I'm in town to give you a try again. I sure do love Snooze! This has become our favorite breakfast place and it's pretty much the only place we go anymore. I had been to the one in Tustin a few times, but I like this location so much more. It's bigger, has better ambiance, and is in a more fun area. Parking is so easy! There is a free parking garage about a block away, we never have an issue finding a spot. I always use the Yelp wait list feature and we are seated right away. I join the list from home, sometimes it's a 2 hour wait! So we just putz around the house until it's ready to drive over. Love that they offer that! I also have the Snooze app so I am always earning points and getting free meals or free pancakes. Can't complain about that! We both try something new every time we visit, and we have yet to be let down, seriously everything here is amazing! I am the woman who pretty much orders eggs benedict at any breakfast place I go to, but Snooze has taught me to think outside the box. Hands down favorites are Crab & Asparagus Omelet, Corned Beef & Hash, Shrimp & Grits (OMG THE GRITS), Blueberry Danish Pancake, Pineapple Upside Down Pancake, Juan's Breakfast Tacos, Barbacoa Chile Verde Benny, and Parmesan Panko Crab Benedict. I've been to Snooze A.M. in Scottsdale many many years ago and when I found out there was one in the city of Orange, I knew I just had to stop by. I remember the vibes being very fun with loud music playing and brunch being a party. This particular location has a really good deal that you can get a juice or cocktail of your choice plus an entrée for only 12 bucks. That is such a bargain considering the entrée by itself is over $14-$16. There was a bit of a wait but we were able to join the waitlist on Yelp and when we got seated, the server was very nice to us . He was very helpful in assisting us and choosing what menu items we wanted. The food took about 25 minutes to come out and everything was made fresh to order. The food tasted good, the drinks were good, and we had a good time. It reminded me of the good old days. I would definitely come back to try more of their brunch items when I'm in town. read more

Honestly really meh; both the food and service I got the Snooze Classic which comes with - eggs - your choice of meat (in my case chorizo) - toast - hash browns What the menu doesn't tell you is that the chorizo and hash browns are PATTIES. When the food came out, it looked disgusting, honestly looked worse than hospital food. The eggs were good The toast tasted like toast, jelly that comes on side tasted like smuckers The chorizo was bad The hash browns were also bad Service was meh. It was busy due to graduations so I understand why we didn't see our server a lot, so not upset about that. What was upsetting is that one of our guests dishes was forgotten - either by server or kitchen, doesn't matter. And the manager(?) awkwardly came up and said "we forgot, you know, it happens" or something along those lines. Point is, her wording was very bad... we did appreciate her taking that dish off our bill but it was very off putting. The restaurant was also not clean. There were booths that were ripped. Wobbly tables. Went to the washroom and there was no toilet paper in either stalls. The cups smelled like eggs leading me to wonder if they just reuse their dishwasher water. Never going back. I went with family to have breakfast here as we always see a long line waiting and thought it must be that good. I totally recommend that you reserve a table before you even drive there because the wait is long on weekends. The food was good as its not very like the usual American breakfast, it's twisted and more fresh veggies on the plate. Unfortunately my order came with bacon as I have not ordered bacon and am Muslium so I don't even eat bacon. The original order did not have bacon on the ingredients so i was disgusted to finish my food although they gave me a new order but I couldn't eat anymore. The waitress was nice and tried to apologize multiple times, he told me that the manager will come to the table too and explain the mistake but that didn't happen. I gave it another try the following weeks and ordered something different, I made sure it was clean from bacon and it was tasty. The food portion is not much compared to other places so some dishes need side orders to feel satisfied. Their coffee is great and nothing like typical brew coffee. I hear some people complaining about the wait, so if you're someone who can't be patient, I'd suggest going somewhere else rather than taking it out like the Karen did on to the host... it's never ok to do that to someone who is trying to do their job and has no control over how long other take to eat. The service was good for the most part. Our server was running around to a lot of different tables, and it did not look like they set up specific sections for each server to watch. They did forget two of our orders and confused one of them... The food was good for the most part. My partner got the pancake flights and it was really sweet all around... so we did not finish it all. I got the breakfast pasta ... though I loved the concept, it did not measure up for me... for the price, there was very little of the protines integrated ... I love to cook and I've cooked noodles and eggs together before so... they must have used one egg in that pasta and very little pork belly and bacon. The hot chocolate was good, but aside from that, I am not driven to go back any time soon. Overall, Snooze has a lot of charm but the missing or overdoing ingredients when it comes to the food. Snooze used to be my favorite breakfast joint in San Diego. It's been years since I've been back. They do not have their own parking lot. It's all street parking along Orange Circle District. Your entire party needs to be present before you can be seated. The menu items include your typical pancakes, Benedict's, eggs, seasonal items like pork belly fried rice and e'lote breakfast pasta. Disappointed that my favorite dish on the menu is no longer there (breakfast pot pie made out of puff pastries). So I ordered the corned beef hash. It's dry rubbed so it has a lot of seasoning and flavor. Too much that it's salty. We asked for extra crispy hash browns. Came with two eggs and English muffin. The food was just mediocre. They were really busy and short staffed so it was hard to flag our server down. We ordered three plates of bacon. Service Friendly but not attentive We came on a Friday around 12:30pm for bunch. Our server was nice yet literally took our order and thats it. Checked on us about 70% through our meal. They have a great mid-century modern vibe with wonderful food and good service. It gets incredibly busy so earlier the better or just put yourself on the waitlist through Yelp. FOOD: Loved the food. A different take on some classics. The corned beef hash wasn't served with those little potato cubes but instead with hash browns. I was iffy on it, but it tasted GREAT! Especially the corned beef. Good ration of beef to potato and the flavor of the corned beef was terrific and not at all dry. Had a chance to taste the pancake flight and I highly recommend it! What a great way to try all the different awesome flavors they have. We had the Strawberry Shortcake, Red, White, and Blue special, and Pineapple Upside-Down Pancake. All were excellent. Got a side of grits and it was the way grits should be - creamy without too much cream. SERVICE: Done with a smile, have no complaints here except to say maybe they could come by to refill your water. One of my pet peeves. But it's really hard to complain because they were so great overall and the portions were sizable and the atmosphere was terrific. COST: Very reasonable for what you get. Decided to have a hip breakfast at Snooze with a friend. Parking was easy (and free) in a large structure a block away on Lemon Street. Service was excellent as was the food. I ordered the French Toast Neat along with a side of bacon and a hot chocolate to drink. The french toast was just that - perfectly made thick slices of french toast with a variety of berries (strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries) sprinkled around the plate and some maple syrup as a pour over. The three slices of bacon were thick, smokey, and slightly chewy yet tender (as opposed to crisp); I loved their bacon. The hot chocolate was...yes, perfectly made. Not too sweet but smooth chocolatey goodness all the way. What kept if from a full five stars? The seating. We were put in a booth next to the host station, just five feet from the front door. On a cold morning, every time the door opened, which was often, a brisk breeze blew directly onto our table. This resulted in our food becoming cold before even half eaten. Cold french toast, cold bacon...not so enjoyable compared to the first few bites that were warm and delicious. My friend didn't even finish her eggs because she doesn't care for them cold. The fried rice was cooked perfectly, each grain was well-separated, with no sogginess, and it was aromatic from the pan and chili. Decided to check this spot out with friends since it claims to have vegan options. The one day I go they are out of the vegan options besides the tofu scramble. Therefore my order consisted of the tofu scramble plate: comes with a side of toast and hashbrown. You can also add veggies to the scramble. Simple. It was decent- not that you would expect a vegan friendly place to go above and beyond with their vegan menu as I assume they'd dedicate their time more on non vegan menu items (that what it seemed like). NO APPLE PAY! Came on a Saturday morning around 9:30AM. The place wasn't crowded yet but it will. Sat on the counter seat overlooking the streets, which was a vibe. The server rushed me and my party by bringing the check when we just had our food and only ate for 15 mins, she even didn't ask if we needed anything else. Furthermore, the food was only decent and the portion sizes were small, I was still hungry after eating one entree-Kale avocado bowl. The bowl is very healthy and tasty but for $15, you will get double the size in any other healthy restaurant. My husband got kimchi fried rice ($18) was so delicious with a lot of flavors, he finished it in a couple of bits because the portion was so small. It would be better to count it as an appetizer. We shared a pancake, that is creamy and fluffy but I will call it a mini-pancake because of the size. Our friend got toast and hash brown. He said tasted average. Overall, I rated the food as 7/10, and the presentation as 10/10 , great for social media BUT the service is for sure 0/10. We spent less than $40 and he treated us no different. He worked with me to give him the money ahead of time just so I could treat my former sister in law for breakfast. I love this Snooze restaurant on weekdays because it's not lines of people and you have easy parking, free for 3 hours across the street at the upper garage parking. It's loaded, and will definitely have you full for a while! My friends and I shared a serving of hash browns, which weren't great honestly.
