Just what I needed when I needed it. My morning was off to a rough start with my pup having post neutering surgery complications... rushed him to the vet. Once that was sorted I needed hot coffee and comfort food. April was my server and she was fantastic. It was a surprisingly busy Wednesday morning but she made sure to take care of me. Honestly, she was so cheerful and happy and kind. My coffee and my food arrived quickly and my coffee cup stayed full the entire meal! I ordered the snooze classic with eggs of medium, chicken sausage, and I upgraded to the gluten free chocolate chip pancake. Naturally, I was so in awe of the deliciousness in front of me I forgot to take a pic. Everything was egg-cellent! Eggs were perfectly cooked. And that pancake. Oh my god! It was pure happiness. Simply phenomenal!! While visiting Disneyland on our way home we always like to try and find new restaurants to try and I stumbled across this on Yelp, the review and food looked great so we decided to try it out and we were definitely satisfied! Upon arrival the wait wasn't long at all, the staff was extremely friendly and the food was out of this world! Our server was Perry (like Katy Perry as he told us) since we were newbies we wanted his suggestions and he suggested the habanero pork belly benny, the pancakes and the breakfast tacos. We ordered exactly what he recommend and we LOVED it all! I can't even begin to explain the habanero pork belly benny but if you are in the area and want your taste buds to go wild I would definitely recommend this dish! The flavor of the pork belly hits your mouth first it's spicy yet not over powering with too much spiciness, the pork is not fatty and prepared to perfection, then you taste the bacon espresso jam which is amazing and the sweetness of the cranberry relish on top of the hollandaise sauce gives your tastebuds an experience! For breakfast meetups I usually like to go with my friend at a certain place, but he suggested Snooze. I've never been to this place so I was eager to try it out. Luckily we beat the weekend breakfast crowd, but when I went in, the place was already starting to fill up. It has a cute diner like feel, with friendly hosts and servers down to the menu. There are booths, tables and bar type seating in the middle of the room. My friend had the pot pie and I was trying to figure out if I wanted the lox benedict or an omelette. I ended up with corn beef hash which I was happy about. There's a kindness and customer service I miss in Orange County, it makes me appreciate it more when I come down for my visits. This place is another example, my friend had a gift card that didn't go through but they honored the card's amount and we paid the remainder of the bill quite surprised, but appreciative. Now I know why people don't mind waiting outside in a line just to get in this place. read more

Been a fan since my San Diego days and it still did not disappoint. Still as crowded, still as good. Located in Orange, there's plenty of stuff around so you won't be bore when you're waiting. However, waitlist is available so remember to get in line ahead of your visit so you don't have to wait. I've always gone with their three egg scramble + latte, that's always been my favorite. Despite the long wait to be seated, the food was amazing. I had the pot pie and my friend had the french toast. We ordered mimosa's to start off and it quickly gave me a nice splash of head change. The atmosphere was very lively and the waiters were sweet in giving me recommendations on what to eat and order considering it was my first time here. After waiting 2 hours to be seated, we were excited to try this restaurant after eating at their Denver location a couple months back. Food presentation was 10/10. Everything was carefully placed on the plate and designed like art. A few minutes into our meal, our server took one of our meals and gave us the correct one. We didn't know we got the wrong dish since it's very similar to the one we ordered. I'm surprised they took it back instead of just giving it to us on the house. They even asked if we touched it which makes me believe they were going to give it to another customer that ordered it. Food tasted great, no complaints there. Kimchi fried rice was very flavorful, but was $18 for such a small portion. I don't think adding a quarter more portion of rice would hurt the restaurant's pocket. The pancake was very soft and fluffy. I would've came back to order the blueberry pancakes again if I wasn't rushed to pay the bill. Two hours waiting in line to be seated and 15 minutes into our meal, our server came to us and dropped the bill on the table. It wasn't even placed on the table gently, but dropped down enough to make a sound and get our attention. It felt pretty rude they would do that. I understand there is a long line waiting outside, but being rushed out of here after waiting two hours patiently just ruined our table's mood. I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 star because of how great their food presentation was. Food tasted deliscious was well, but for the wait and service, I would probably not come back. The restaurant looks small from the outside but it also has an outside dining space. I ordered the Sandwich I Am and it was so delicious. It has a pretzel bun sausage and egg, paired with an amazing hollandaise sauce. 10/10 for the sandwich. I also got a regular French toast with a vanilla cream and lots of berries, those were ok, 7/10. I like that they put a decent amount of berries but it's only average in taste. I felt bad because, me and my sister took him there for his birthday. I ordered the Benedict Duo and the Parmesan one was doused with a sticky balsamic syrup (it would have been better on the side). I'm a fan of Snooze and this location was no exception. The service was awesome and food was great. They have an awesome menu and everything hits the spot. I love using the Yelp waitlist. I checked in on my way over. I was 33rd in line. By the time I got there I was 10. When I checked in others had not arrived yet, so I was seated within minutes. Met up with some friends for brunch. I ordered a hot coffee with the barbacoa chile verde benny and it was such a good balance of flavors. This trendy breakfast eatery ended up a bit over hyped based on our experience. First impressions at the host stand weren't great. They seemed overwhelmed and forgetful and very frustrated anytime someone asked a question. Once we were seated, service was good - but the food was just OK. You can see in the picture but the bacon was basically inedible. The pancakes have a lot of cool toppings available, which sounds cool in theory but it ends up just kinda an over sweet mess. This place has great food but I have to rate 1 star due to my experience. They say they can make anything gluten free but they do not take it seriously at all. They brought them out to me and I was really happy , it even had a little wooden stick that said "gluten free" on it, even the person that handed me the food said gluten free right? Then after I took a bite they had come back out and asked to take my plate because they didn't think it was gluten free... after I had already taken a bite. Cross contamination is understandable, but GIVING me a gluten pancake made me sick almost instantly. They brought out the correct pancakes and they were great but the sickness is NOT worth it. No offer for compensation, no apology, and now not even 3 hours later I am having the worst stomach pain of my life. All because they gave me the wrong item after confirming that it was gluten free when it was not. If you weren't sure in the very start you should have immediately taken it away not walked away, let me take a bite, and then come back with the correct item. Now i'm horribly sick, I was really looking forward to it but now I don't think I would trust it to come back. Gluten allergy is serious! One of our favorite brunch spots for pancakes and eggs benedicts. When I go with friends, we always order our own regular dishes and then share a pancake flight (my favorite is the Upside down pineapple pancake, so perfectly cooked and the right amount of sweetness). My usual go to is getting the Benny Duo which let's you choose two different Benedict options. Even though this location is always busy, the service is great! Because it is in Old Towne Orange, I would recommend parking in the lot down the street from Snooze and walking. It's only one light down so the walk is very close! read more

I love having breakfast at this place. Really chill place and I love sitting outside because I like the environment. The food is so delicious I got a breakfast taco and the taste of it is so bomb, flavors were magnificent in my mouth! Totally recommend. My partner got a Bella Bella Benny, she loved it. She also got a lavender latte and I got a vanilla almond matcha tea latte. I enjoyed both of the flavors of the brews. We also got the pancake of the week which was a blueberry streusel muffin pancakes, they were okay, I wasn't really feeling it. We waited for an hour today to have their popular fluffy pancakes. Too many people were in the line and we had to wait for an hour 20 mins. Today is Sat....that is why...packed. However, it is worthy to wait for a long time to eat their fluffy pancakes thou. Haha... I am happy about the pancakes. My hubby got steak egg benny. He said the portion is little small for the price $17. I said it is good once in a while to come and have the brunch. But the average waiting time is over an hour. A little difficult to cut through with the knife provided but reallly good!! Lox-n-Latke Benny - $15 On a bed of small triangle shaped hashbrowns, wished it was a muffin .. but taste very fresh and good!! Habanero Pork Belly Benny - $15 Comes on a muffin top and thick slice of pork belly! It was very flavorful and all the flavors mixed well! That pop of cranberry totally balances out the meat. Bacon But Different - $5 unfortunately this option was out, and it would've been a 20 mins wait.. so we got their normal bacon. (Which was basic but semi thicc slices) Original Spicy Bloody - the cauliflower and chilli atop was my favorite part! So we walk about 10 minutes time to the front tell the guy at the podium he takes our name and says 15-20 minute wait. Told him the app said walk right in, he says oh sometimes the app is wrong when did you sign up? I tell him 10 minutes ago, his reply in the last 10 minutes things changed. hmmm ok. As we wait our name moves up the list from 10 to 8 to 6. Then we see people leaving and walking up discussing something with podium guy then our name drops back to 8. Really considered leaving at this point but my party was willing to wait. Once in food was good service was ok, drink fillups were only done when asked, condiments brought over when asked, getting the check takes awhile. I was like a kid in a candy store perusing their menu. Their items were totally up my alley. I decided that getting the pancake flight would be a smart move for me, since I wanted to try every single item. This way I could pick three pancake flavors to try. Well, actually four. They got one of the items wrong and had to bring out the correct pancake separately. Here's what I thought about the four pancakes. - The blueberry danish was the best! It was better than having an actual danish for breakfast, because the texture was light and fluffy and the sweetness wasn't overpowering. - The chocolate peanut butter was their flavor of the day and I was so glad I tried it. This was the only pancake that wasn't drenched in some kind of sauce. It was made to perfection with a refreshingly cold dollop of peanut butter on top and drizzled with a delectable chocolate sauce. - The upside down pineapple cake surprised me. Well I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest. Although there were a few measly chunks of pineapples, it did not have that pineapple flavor. I wasn't craving a pineapple-y taste anyway. It had a tinge of cinnamon, complemented with condensed milk and crunchy bits of pecans. - The last pancake I had was the sweet potato pancake, which I thought was a little similar to the pancake above. It was drenched in sauce and didn't stand out as much. I thought it was cool that you could pick and choose three items for this entree, even the French toast. Because I always need something savory to complete my brunch, I got bacon and eggs on the side. I was a little gluttonous for ordering the amount I did knowing fully well that I wouldn't be able to stomach everything. Oh well! YOLO. This brunch lover left a satisfied, raving fan! The Monte Cristo comes with a side of salad topped with citronette which gives it a pop of flavor. Everything on the Monte Cristo was perfectly executed, it fills you up more than you think. The hash browns are hands down some of the best iv had, fresh, slightly crispy texture, but soft on the inside and flavor full. Very clean inside and not too noisy as some reviews say.
