I can tell you I have eaten at my fair share of burger places. I absolutely place this hidden gem at the top of the list! I saw fried mushrooms on the menu and could not resist. I'm happy to say, I'm glad I followed my gut. They were incredible. I like horseradish with mine and our server, Jimmicia was happy to bring us some. We ordered the classic cheeseburger as is in the menu with onion fries. So glad we did. The cheeseburger was cooked just right. The amount of condiments was not overwhelming, perfect burger. The staff is pretty abysmal sans a couple people...most just super trashy and clearly take no pride in cleanliness ...... bathrooms are usually horrendous!! Can only speak on drinks during happy hour and the cheese fries. I was in the area for a shower at the Granada and the happy hour sign caught my eye. It was 10 PM and they had specials until 11 on a Friday night! Pretty good. $1 coors, $4 margaritas. I liked the on the rocks margarita better than the frozen sangria swirl marg. But I noticed the bartender didn't fill the on the rocks margarita all the way to the top. It was a lot of ice. But it was cheap. A small cheese fires was $4. It was good, but felt the portion was small given the price. I echo some people's points about can you mess up cheese fries? Parking: they have a lot attached. Oh man. I'm Snuffed! I uttered that exact phrase waddling outside Snuffer this eve. Our dinner group was famished, and nothing cures all-day hunger than -- no, not snickers -- a big ass burger. It was a mushroom Swiss burger on a sesame seed bun for me, along with a cup of baked potato soup. The soup came out at room temp (blah), but it was a great filling since I couldn't have fries. Oh wait, I caved. I did help myself to some of their famous cheese fries with chives, jalapenos and a side of ranch. Why am I so week?! The burger was okay; I'm not a fan of chopped up lettuce or a big patty. I like 'em old school-style, thin and char-grilled. There was no ooze factor, no smokey taste or spice. Over lunch we saw a rat just outside and partially under the patio. This minor issue became problematic when we mentioned it to our waiter, and the management dispatched a brave kitchen employee - hereafter referred to as 'Scarface' to take care of the situation. Scarface arrived to assess the situation - broom in hand - an obvious implement choice when dealing with vermin. One of my lunch companions dutifully points out the rodent. Scarface unscrews the broom, and with practiced skill dispatched the creature in a few licks. In full view of my table. We were about 5 minutes into eating our burgers. While I commend snuffs management, and Scarface in particular, for so proactively taking care of the situation, I would prefer to have skipped the lunch show. Also, I believe that protocol dictates management should have comped some food and bribed me to forget the whole ugly indecent after the rodent was bludgeoned in front of us. But, the sad news is, even with my love of the 70's, the food was totally greasy and not the good kind either. You know the good kind, it's all hot and cruchy without the pool of grease hanging out in the bottom of the fries? Yeah, they didn't have that. The burger was so greasy the ketchup had a hard time staying on. The cheese fries were tasty, but I knew with every bite I was killing my heart based on the amount of grease swimming in the basket. So it's the day before Halloween and our office is having a Halloween dress up day. I show up for lunch dressed in my Mexican taco costume. I'm the only one at this burger place dressed in costume dressed as something you'd order down the street at Blue Goose. Got a few odd looks - good thing I'm not self-conscious! The food here is excellent! I adore their cheese fries - they're the absoute best! On this excursion we opted to try their new "ghost pepper cheeseburger". The picture on the email advertisement looked enticing enough. The first half of my burger was thoroughly enjoyable but by the time I got to the second half, had to remove the remaining strips of grilled jalapenos. It was just way too hot for my tastes. Would not order this burger again, plus it was a whopping $9 bucks! Not worth it for just a mere burger. I'll definitely eat here again but it will be awhile before I return. I'm not sure what's changed since our last visit, but the service at this location was great from the moment we stepped into the door. We immediately got greeted at the door, immediately got seated, the waiter immediately came to our table to ask for our drink order. Once we placed our food order it came out pretty quick, and it came out piping hot, the way we like it. Everything we ordered was fresh and very good. We were checked on at least twice by management to see if we were doing good. For my order, I got the club sandwich. Which was most definitely the saddest club sandwich I have ever had. To sum it up the bacon on the club were bacon bits. I guess they just use the bacon from what they would put on the loaded fries, so instead of fixing a few strips of bacon for a sandwich they just threw bits and pieces of that bacon on there. Very good dining experience. Tried the sharinga margarita and it was really good, also good size, I would say it's worth $7.99. The cheddar cheese fries was amazing. we ordered the large size, and it was quite large to be an appetizer for 4 people. I ordered the grilled chicken which comes with steamed veggies and side salad. Very healthy. The side salad has shredded cheddar cheese and I am still drooling over the cheese. However, the only downside of this experience is my experience with the waiter. When I was trying to order and got questions about the drink selection, he came off a little rude saying I am pointing at 5 things and I need to be specific.
