Had a birthday dinner, and it was wonderful thanks to the great direction and recommendation from our server! Thank you !!!

I came for happy hour and greeted by a friendly bartender. I perused the menu and decided on burger with fries for my food option and and old fashioned for my drink. As of this writing the burger with fries is at @$18.00 and my old fashioned drink at $12. Both were delicious. I love this happy hour menu. I'm sure I will be back in this casual. Friendly vibe.

Social is a lovely brunch spot in a strip plaza. There's a parking lot in the front, but it gets full. The interior has a homey feel, perfect for small and large parties, families, and all ages. Firstly, the service was fantastic! Shout out Gabriel for being so diligent, accommodating, and friendly. It really made the brunch experience memorable. I came on a Saturday afternoon for brunch bottomless mimosas and was surprised that there weren't more people there. The food is reasonably priced, good in portion size, and tastes great. I tried the Social Benedict and breakfast burrito - I thought it was delicious!! Both came with a side of salad, so the meal felt very balanced. They also serve drinks and the bartender and is super accommodating, asking if we like a drink if they've observed we haven't finished it. Overall, the food, service, and ambiance is fantastic. I highly encourage brunch lovers to give this place a try!

Cool place and enjoyed the music they played. Glad it wasn't loud. I like going to places where I can drink and have a conversation with my party. Drinks and customer service was good. Definitely will come back.

We came during brunch time on a Friday to celebrate my birthday, and I was very disappointed with the lunch menu that was provided. I wanted to walk out and find another restaurant to eat at but because we had our newborn with us we decided to just stay and dine in. Their lunch menu is completely different and not a lot of options compared to the dinner menu. Our server was Gabriel and he was the best!! He was so welcoming and so honest with his recommendations. And all his recommendations , we did end up ordering and they were all good. This was our first time dining in a restaurant with our newborn, and he made sure we were well taken care of and had an easy chill experience with our newborn. Brussels sprouts: I hate veggies but this I can eat everyday. Very flavorful! 10/10 Meatball sandwich: it was different but def good just a bit messy to eat 8/10 Pesto Chicken Flatbread: very good and loved the strong pesto flavor 9/10 Their drinks were good and very strong. They definitely need to make their dinner menu all day though or adjust their lunch menu

I've been here before for their brunch menu, which had its moment for their duck confit hash and house Benedict, but it's my first time for dinner here! This time, however, I did not research beforehand so I let the evening take me wherever it landed for a wonderful Wednesday. It was a team dinner to commemorate the last evening before folks head home, so it's always nice to break bread and connect outside of the office. We started the night with a few shared apps and dranks. I was overstimulated from the day, so I asked our server for his rec and he said his favorite was the Palm Reader ($15). I said ok, let's do it without verifying what it was, but it was beautifully presented and tasted like a Caprisun. What a sweet taste of nostalgia. For apps, we shared the Pull Apart Pretzel ($14), Fritto Misto ($17) and Meatballs ($17). The pretzel was presented like Hawaiian bread buns and served with beer cheese. Surprising display, but it didn't have that strong pretzel texture/flavor profile I was seeking. I love me some Hawaiian buns, but it didn't satisfy my pretzel craving. The fritto misto was a good start - calamari, shrimp, shishito peppers and olives served alongside a meyer lemon aioli and red sauce. I liked that it was on a bed of frisee salad so I could have my greens too! The meatballs were too far away from me, but it did look quite tasty. Came with parmesan toasted bread. I kept my main light with the Spring Lettuce & Herb. Such a refreshing pairing of spring mix, fennel, citrus, goat cheese, pistachio and crispy grains. Lots of good crunch and the sweet grapefruit/mandarin offset the goat cheese. I wish they had salmon as a protein choice, but I think chicken or steak would have worked really well too. My table mates' choices for dinner varied across the menu: Jidori Chicken ($32), Steak Frites subbed with roasted veggies ($42), Lasagna Bolognese ($26) and Broccolini ($15). General sentiments were pretty positive, but chicken was highly rated as one of the best they had. I can see this being popular on the weekend. Parking lot is small and reservations are recommended, but shouldn't be an issue during the week. Now that I've had dinner, I wouldn't mind returning to try more.

Food is great - got to go during happy hour so that was nice and didn't feel like they rushed through happy hour food at all. Got a couple of great options. Ambiance is nice as well. We went when it was a bit more empty but it looks decorated without seeming cluttered or dirty, in my opinion. Just within theme. The service was great. The server had a good time with us making the drinks or helping us decide on drinks. Even with the food. We thought he was sweet and laughed a lot with him. Generally it was a pleasant experience and I'd like to go back. Only thing is, be sure to find it properly if using maps/ navigation. I had a tough time with iPhone maps. As well, the parking situation could be tough especially on a busier night!

Such a fun and hip place. Loveeeeee the inside decor ALSO the chairs are so comfy! Oscar was such an amazing waiter and made our experience great! Drive Thur burger was delicious! I'll pass on the pretzel bites next time .. I didn't read the menu and they aren't real pretzels but more of a Hawaiian role with a pretzelie top. They are also open pretty late but moderately busy. Overall def recommend

Don't let the random location in a small shopping center fool you...Social is GREAT! The location is off the beaten path a little and it's near a smoke shop and some other random shops, but when you walk in, you're suddenly transported into a place that feels very upscale and classy. I was impressed by their beautiful decor and their stunning bar. The staff were very upbeat, friendly and helpful! I was again impressed by the service. I ordered a mojito mocktail and the bartender decided to make it a pomegranate mojito and it was soooo good. I was continually impressed. I also love when a restaurant leaves the water on the table. That's always a nice touch. I also noticed they have various types of water, including sparking and ph alkaline. For food my friend and I shared the Wedge salad and the pickled onions stole the show. The salad was packed with flavor and so delicious. We also got the tomato basil flatbread and it did not disappoint. The cheese was gooey, the tomatoes bursted with flavor...I'm craving it just thinking about it. The last stand out item were the fries! They had the perfect amount of crispy to crunchy ratio! I would say the best fries I've had in a long, long time! I will be back - if you're ever thinking about opening another location, I suggest San Clemente or Dana Point (closer to me)!

Kicking off with a cocktail, their Rye Witch ($17) was wonderfully complex and tasty. Described as the "best thing on the menu", we went with their Drive Thru Burger (with Fries option), $25 -- tasty burger patties, soft brioche bun, but expected more given its high cost; the fries were hot-&-tasty (slightly crunchy exterior with tender interior). We shared their Wedge Salad ($16) consisting of four delightfully crisp mini "wedges"; enjoyable but too heavily coated with dressing for my preference (fine for hubby). Attractive bar top and seating options (offering both high & low top tables); fun decor and atmosphere. Service was welcoming, very friendly, and initially attentive (we visited between shifts). Glad to have finally seen and experienced Social, which has long been on my places to check out.

Visited Social today for a company event and was served: Pork Chop Al Pastor. It was a play on tacos al pastor. It resembled its taste with hints of pineapple and achiote paste. It was served on a bed of fingerling potatoes and a mango/pineapple chutney. I have to say it was surprisingly delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and made our experience an absolute joy!! Bravo Social!!!

Had a pleasure to try this new place @almuerzocafe in Tustin. This place has been only open for about a month and let me tell you "BOMB". We got the Molletitos which is a small bolillo with beans , potatoes, chorizo and avocado . Followed by chilaquiles in red sauce which were crunchy. Also had the tasajo with eggs over easy along chorizo and potatoes and avocado along a hibiscus mimosa . Rating this place 10/10. Loved the bartender that helps us. Food came out quick #brunch #food #review #tustin #blog #mimosa #bacon #chilaquiles #potatoes #steak #pan #dulce #eats #eddie

After a farewell dinner to/at Gulliver's Prime Ribs Of Beef, our party of six continued the evening several miles away at Stowaway for some light bites and libations. Personally, I was all about the Hawaiiana tiki culture and tried to live it every day. Founded by co-owners Leonard Chan and Dominic Iapello, its current home of barely three years in a former dive bar came about when they unceremoniously had to leave the original location. With its proximity to Disneyland's Enchanted Tiki Room and the very niche underground-like society of tiki culture, they found their footing with a consistent customer base and the thrill of island escapism through colorful cocktails, pleasurable pupus, and tropical trimmings. Would I stow myself away somewhere inside and never leave!? PURCHASE(S) Don Q Punch Bowl ($38.00): Made with Don Q's Cristal Silver, Anejo, and 151 Gold Rums, respectively, peach brandy, passion fruit, pineapple juice, and citrus juices, this flaming concoction was rumtastic in every way possible as the tropical juices just made it that much sweeter. There were more ice chips than I liked, but it was a fun trough to drink out of for the four of us who wanted to imbibe. Coconut Shrimp 6pc ($12.00): Breaded and flash-fried plump shrimp served with a sweet chili dipping sauce, these were tasty and perfectly paired with the Don Q cocktail I was drinking. Stowaway Fries ($17.00): Constructed with a pile of crisp golden spud sticks, rum braised pork, and topped with a hearty gravy and sunny-side up egg, this loco moco fries dish was slamming while the slightly charred juicy pork had me squealing with enjoyment. SERVICE We had reservations, so once our entire party arrived, they quickly seated us in a cool cave-live separate alcove for more privacy. Our server arrived with menus, suggestions, and glasses of water. Minutes later, we all ordered at once, and everything (drinks and food) arrived within ten minutes. Because we had another reservation inside the same bar, we informed our male server and to let us know when we were allowed to go there. All was casual, chill, and somewhat on island time - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (FREE): They shared a medium-sized private lot with several other businesses who were closed at this time with plenty of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located within a strip mall, you opened the front door and walked into an island oasis as if you were a cast member on "Gilligan's Island" with thatched roof material above you, tiki statues displaced on all of the volcanic-looking walls, collections of tiki mugs past and present for purchase, a central square bar with plenty of stools, and seemingly small dark nooks and private spaces where naughty things could happen. No natural lighting whatsoever while an assortment of extremely low-lit electric lights barely guided you along. There were no TVs while I recalled various styles of music played in the background along with chatter and clamor of conversations in all directions. ATTIRE Although I was actually dressed appropriately for the occasion in an aloha shirt, linen pants, and flip-flops, this place was totally casual, so a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops would suffice. OVERALL I had a cowabunga time at Stowaway, and I couldn't wait to return to try more of their awesome-soundling elixirs. I loved tiki bars, and although this was generally out of my range, I'd make a special trip or two here. My one drink was lip-smacking good, the pupus were yummy, the prices were reasonable enough, the atmosphere was stupendous, and the service was friendly and professional. While the drinks menu was loaded with tropical cocktails, an impressive rum selection, and a decent assortment of local craft beers, the food menu was somewhat limited. And, the bar had happy hour TU-FR 4pm-6pm. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $75.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS
